Model answer:

In my city, Ho Chi Minh City, there is a big new development: the metro line. The metro line is designed to help reduce traffic jams and pollution.

I first noticed the construction work in District 1 back in 2012. The project was huge, and it took about 9 years to complete, finally finishing in 2021.

Seeing it progress over the years was fascinating. At first, it was just a few roadblocks and some digging. But slowly, the metro stations took shape, and the tracks were installed.

I feel very excited about this new metro. It will make traveling around the city much easier and faster. Before, I used to spend hours stuck in traffic. Now, I can save a lot of time.

Also, I am hopeful that this new metro will improve our air quality, making the city a healthier place to live. This development represents progress and a step towards a better, more modern Ho Chi Minh City.

Overall, I am optimistic about how this metro will positively impact our daily lives and the environment. It’s a big change, but a welcome one.
