It is more important to spend public money promoting a healthy lifestyle in order to prevent illness than to spend it on the treatment of people who are already ill. Some people have proposed that a higher proportion of the national budget should be allocated to support those in need at hospitals. Nevertheless, I do believe healthy lifestyle promotion must be prioritized considering their perennial impact on society. On the other hand, government support is critical to the recovery of patients whose treatment costs exceed their financial capacity. For instance, the medical treatment process for a cancer patient includes numerous costly procedures, starting with the conduct of diagnostic tests, the use of prescribed medications, and ending with interpretation of the results and counseling. In Vietnam, the total sum of these medical and non-medical expenses can total over $50,000, which is unaffordable for the majority of Vietnamese working families. Therefore, to ensure proper treatment, the Vietnamese government must provide monetary support to these patients through insurance schemes. Despite the above-mentioned view, I do believe that the statements should spend more money on promoting citizens involved in disease prevention initiatives that produce greater long-term social impact. Take Cambodia as an example, which has successfully provided indigenous people with essential health information related to nutrition, along with the hygienic and cardiovascular benefits. As a result, there is a considerable growth in the number of Cambodians adopting healthy diets and preventive measures against diseases. Moreover, the rate for hospitalism has witnessed a remarkable decline for recent years, so the governments could distribute a greater spending for other critical sectors such as education, army or politics. To conclude, albeit it is necessary to stretch the government financially, I opine that programs which evoke a healthier lifestyle should be promulgated with the concern and involvement of all political bodies. It is more important to spend public money promoting a healthy lifestyle in order to prevent illness than to spend it on the treatment of people who are already ill. Topic: Some people believe that crime is the result of social problems and society, others think crime is a result of a bad person’s nature. Discuss both views and give your opinion? In light of the increasing number of crime offenders, one school of thought holds that this problem is the result of social crises and society, whereas others cite a person’s personality to be the culprit. This essay will closely examine both viewpoints before concluding that I side with the former. On the one hand, it is understandable why some people believe that crime is caused by a person’s nature. Their key rationale is in favor of the notion that some people are naturally born to be more aggressive and bad-tempered than others. As a result, they are more likely to behave badly and commit a crime. However, such reasoning is flawed, as personality is something that can be shaped through education to meet society’s rules. This can be largely attributed to the fact that schools are incorporating crime education in their curriculum, teaching young children how to control their impulsive feelings as well as the dire repercussions of criminals. Therefore, from an early age, children are taught how to behave correctly and refrain themselves from violating the laws. On the other hand, I subscribe to the notion that the rise in crime is the consequence of social problems and society. To begin with, as the number of unemployed people is on the rise, many people cannot make enough money to pay for their living expenses such as renting bills or buying food. The implication of this is that these people have to resort to criminal acts like robbery or pickpocketing to have money to meet their basic needs. Another worth mentioning reason is that some people have the tendency to mimic others’ criminal actions, thinking that robbery is an easy way to make money without having to work hard physically or mentally. In conclusion, while it is true that a person’s nature can lead to criminal acts to a certain extent, I believe that this can be tackled by education. However, I would contend that crime is the result of social problems. Đề: The bar chart shows the amount of money which was invested by different museums in London. The given chart illustrates the amount of money invested by five different museums in London in five months, namely June, July, August, September and October. Overall, it is evident that the amount of investment by both British museum and Science museum is higher than the others, while the average funding belongs to History museum and National museum. As can be seen from the chart, the amount of money invested by British museum and Science museum has stable figures in the first two months of the period shown, for over 400 thousand. Furthermore, these figures for British museum witnessed a sharp increase for 700 thousand in August before a substantial decrease to just over 420 thousand in October. At the same time, Science museum has an average investment, for 400 thousand then drop to just 300 thousand. In both June and July, the figures for History museum and National museum were just approximately 400 thousand and 200 thousand, respectively. However, while History museum made up the highest second funding with 600 thousand in August, National museum again stabilized at the level of 300 thousand before dropping to just 200 thousand in the final month of the period shown. While it is proposed by some that crime comes from social issues and personal poverty situations, others are of the opinion that it could potentially depend on the congenital evil tendency of criminals. This essay will first closely scrutinize both viewpoints before concluding that I agree with the former. On the one hand, it is understandable why some people hold the belief that a person’s innate characteristics influence wrongdoings. They might argue that individual intrinsic nature, as a behavioral control center, consists of both positive and negative aspects. Indeed, the uglier nature of offenders has surpassed the better one, or more importantly, it effortlessly overcomes the moral and ethical frameworks of society. The argument goes that the psychology of wrongness pursuit facilitates deviant behaviors, even leading to brutal crimes. Without being guided by external elements, approximately 30% of juvenile delinquency stems from their personal fulfillment and sudden desires, according to a worldwide survey by UNICEF. On the other hand, I side with those who are pro the inclusion of factors related to society. Perhaps the foremost reason would be that many offenders have disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds as well as they lack the right orientations as ordinary citizens, which is indeed of paramount importance in today’s increasingly interconnected world. Several criminals, for example, cannot virtually afford to cover their basic necessities such as tuition fees or food supplies, which consolidates the motives behind their unlawful activities. The argument in favor of social reasons is further fortified by the fact that not only personal deprivation but social chaos also can lead to murder-related actions. Humans are a species with a particularly strong team spirit, so it is inevitable to imitate the bad behavior of incompetent companions. A violent environment, widespread social evils such as prostitution, drugs, and social chaos without proper management have increased the crime rate in the area, with the Cubatao slum in Brazil being a prominent example. In conclusion, while the potential for inherently toxic thoughts in criminals is a valid concern, I would contend that the principal reasons are the plights of each delinquent and also come from a chaotic, unethical, and lawless society. While it is proposed by some that crime comes from social issues and personal poverty situations, others are of the opinion that it could potentially depend on the congenital evil tendency of criminal... Some people think it is important to spend money on roads and motorways than public transport systems. To what extend do you agree? It is no doubt that spending money on buses and subways is more critical than upgrading the public transport system. While I disagree with this statement. I believe that it is necessary to upgrade public transport and there are many advantages of public transport. To begin with, private vehicles are key factors traffic accidents. Irresponsible driving habits like running red light, speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol come from driver causes endangerous for participants traffic. Moreover, it is the reason for jam-backed. In megacities which motorbikes are move main vehicles, in rush hours worker are alway get held up in havy traffic. Traffic congestion made many people annoyances and take time. Although commute is quiet short waste time too much to move. Therefore, the government should ease traffic flows to avoid negatives effects to environment and human. On the other hand, citizens gain benefits from public transport. Most private vehicles problems are coped with by public transport. Firstly, human are safer when traveling by urban transport service and It help minimize traffic accidents by reducing the amount of vehicles attend movement on subways. Moreover, local transport are a more friendly environment which improves air quality and reduces noise pollution. Furthermore, for those who do not have private vehicles, such as motorbikes or cars, buses and subways are a great choice if they have to commute every day. In conclusion, the government should implement a policy to ease traffic flow. In my view I believe that should spend money to concentrate on upgrading the public transport system. People nowadays tend to have children at older ages. Do the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages? Essay: In recent years, controversies have arisen over the suitable ages of having offspring. While numerous people advocate the sentiment that married couples should bear children when they are still young, I strongly believe that having children at older ages should be taken into consideration because of its considerable benefits. On the one hand, proponents of the idea that people should not have children at older ages have their own convincing arguments. Firstly, older women who become pregnant are highly vulnerable to both physical and mental health problems. According to a recent research conducted by Ha Noi Medical University, scientists have proved that a significant number of older mothers may have higher risks of death than younger ones, together with the fact that their baby might be physically weaker. Secondly, it appears to be that there is a wide generation gap between parents and children in many circumstances. Specifically, children of older couples may hardly share their stories with them because of the dissimilarity of their thoughts and opinions, which might easily lead to misunderstanding that could escalate into family conflicts. On the other hand, I strongly believe that husband and wife should bear their children at older ages. Particularly, the initial benefit of this tendency is that having kids later in life helps them to completely focus on their career at a young age, which undoubtedly provides them with better opportunities for their work and study. Furthermore, another additional advantage is that married couples can also have more time to prepare for a solid financial foundation and acquire essential knowledge before welcoming a baby. It is undeniable that all parents want their children to be raised properly in a good condition and environment, which can only be achieved through careful financial planning and a comprehensive understanding. To summarize, while having children at a young age is advantageous to some extent, it is my viewpoint that the benefits of bearing children at older ages are greater than the drawbacks of this tendency. Some people think that we should be more careful about sending satellites into space because they show where we are in the universe, and we may attract the attention of dangerous aliens. Others believe that contact with other species may bring enormous benefits to humanity. Answer Within the situation of the current landscape. Unquestionably, people hold different opinions about whether harmful or helpful while launching satellites into orbit. In my personal estimation, although I understand why most of the public feel that it is risky to launch satellites into orbit, sending satellites can bring far greater benefits. This essay will analyze and discuss in depth both points of view in question. It is conceivable why some subscribe to the view that the act of launching satellites into orbit is immensely risky. The key rationale is that if hostile or technologically advanced aliens find out about humanity, they might consider us a threat or try to take advantage of our resources. It is obvious that they will find a method to destroy or deal with us if we are deemed the hostle, the implication of this is that the life of our earth will end. Therefore, being sent into space will menacing does seem justifiable. Nevertheless, in spite of the above argument, I am convinced that the beneficial when launching satellites into orbit for several compelling reasons. First and foremost, humanity may greatly benefit from interactions with other intelligent species. One possible explanation is that they might have the knowledge and technological advancements that are well beyond our current comprehension if we were to establish contact with a highly developed extraterrestrial culture such as medical advancements, or space exploration. Another essential point to consider is that cultural interchange with extraterrestrial civilizations may result in a deeper comprehension of the cosmos and fresh viewpoints on science, technology, and philosophy. One such convincing piece of evidence is that this relationship could fundamentally alter how we think about time, upending accepted beliefs and broadening our understanding of both science and philosophy. In conclusion, while a substantial contingent of individuals exposes the perspective of the dangerous when sending satellites into space, as indicated by a noteworthy level of support, I am firmly persuaded that the advantages it bring deserves even greater attention and consideration. Some people think that we should be more careful about sending satellites into space because they show where we are in the universe, and we may attract the attention of dangerous aliens. Boxing is a blood sport which often results in physical injury. It is inappropriate for this sport to exist in the modern age. Do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer, and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience. You should write at least 250 words. My essay: Sports and leisure activities are not only a means of physical exercise but also a source of entertainment and relaxation for individuals and communities alike. Therefore, some people contend that an extreme sport like boxing is not appropriate in this contemporary age because of the physical damage that results in its participants. From my own standpoint, I strongly agree with the view for several reasons. To begin with, it is undeniable that boxing matches broadcast in front of the media are often famous for moral principles and a feast for the eyes such as respect for opponents, obedience to rules, and fair playing actions. Nevertheless, underground boxing, which is enjoyed most by the audience, is often associated with various disturbing factors including foul language, disregard for rivals, violent punches, brutal scenes and inelegant appearance as a repercussion of intense physical contact. Therefore, this dangerous sport is not suitable to exist in the modern age. Another rationale behind my belief as well as supporting the view is the case of Mike Tyson, who was an American prominent boxer with many remarkable achievements of his career. But when Tyson became older, he frequently faced hazardous illnesses stemming from boxing matches in the past such as osteoporosis and vision-related problems. Furthermore, several scientists conducted research on Tyson and his health was predicted to hardly recover from the injuries that were the consequences of his boxing career along with the ageing process. In this case, I would argue that this hazardous sport is truly endangered to physical well-being and should be banned on safety grounds. In conclusion, I totally believe that the elimination of boxing is suitable and rational due to the detrimental effects it has on the physical health of its players. Boxing is a blood sport which often results in physical injury. It is inappropriate for this sport to exist in the modern age. Do you agree or disagree? The picture depicts the evolution of the two separate cutting instruments from 1.4 million years ago and 0.8 million years ago. Overall, it is readily apparent that Tool A was rougher and even smaller than Tool B. Also, tool B was more in shape, which might be easier to hold and use. Dating back to 1,400,000 years ago, the front view of Tool A was not as regular as Tool B and its edge was harsh, so it perhaps caused trouble for users. However, Tool B might be in the shape of the dropping water, and its tip was likely to sharpen and be effective for cutting. Regarding the size of those tools, Tool A ranged from 6 to 8 cm, whereas it was significantly larger in Tool B, about 10 cm. Besides that, the side view revealed the development over a period of time. Tool B was supposed to have a smooth edge and surface designed for cutting objects cleanly and easily when compared to Tool A. Finally, the back view showed the most clearly that there was an increase in size and a flattened shape of each stone. Fewer young people choose to work in farming. What are the reasons? Should young people be encouraged to do farming work? Essay: These days, controversies have been engendered over an issue that a vast majority of youngsters avoid working in the agricultural sector. From my perspective, this trend can derive from several causes that will be discussed in this essay, along with a number of reasons why there should be more young farmers. The fact that there is a slight tendency for young adults to engage in farming work is associated with obvious reasons. Firstly, the agriculture field seems to have both a lower income and a limited prospect of financial stability. This is primarily because the earning is often unstable and it depends heavily on the yield of the crops. Secondly, universal education appears to result in more young individuals thinking that becoming a farmer is not high-class enough for an educated person. As a consequence, instead of tedious work like farming, they tend to gravitate to white-collar jobs that are perceived as smart and classy. Despite these aforementioned catalysts, it is suggested that the young generation should be promoted to become farmers by virtue of significant advantages. The initial benefit is that this encouragement can relatively minimize the risk of food shortage. In particular, the population constantly increases, together with an acceleration in food demands, so the young ought to be stimulated to work in agriculture in order to meet the expectation of the society. Another substantial benefit is that young minds can make notable advances in this profession. It is undeniable that youngsters are more adaptive to new technologies, so they can apply those to the farms, and hence produce healthier food. To summarize, although a falling number of young people are likely to engage in farming activities in recent times, these youngsters should be fostered to work in the agriculture field. Fewer young people choose to work in farming. What are the reasons? Should young people be encouraged to do farming work? Essay: These days, controversies have been engendered over an issue that a... There has been a debate surrounding the idea that many developed countries should give other types of support to under-developed countries instead of giving financial support. From my point of view, these changes should be enforced by the governments of many rich countries. On the one hand, the financial aid from many developed countries cannot likely enough to solve the issues for the poorer countries. And many problems cannot be solved by using financial support. Therefore, developed countries should give more practical types of support consisting of food support or medical support to help citizens in poorer countries. Additionally, many rich nations can also send experts in several fields to aid and develop pedestrians in many poorer countries. For example, Vietnam has sent many experts in agriculture fields to Africa to teach them how to grow paddy, which also solves the food problem for them. On the other hand, corruption from officials is inevitable in one country. If other developed countries give financial aid to poorer countries, corruption might occur in these country's officials. Therefore, with the drawbacks of some corruption issues, the money supported by other countries cannot be sent to the citizens. With the lack of equity, the poor country not only cannot solve their emergency problems but also leads to more terrible issues. For instance, when the governments of one poorer country corrupt the money that should be sent to the citizens, the financial support can also be less than before, which can be the result for many violence among the citizens. In conclusion, many developed nations should give more practical types of support which can help poorer countries to solve their issues rather than giving financial aid.
