It is often alleged that people can watch entertainment performances online instead of attending the live shows thanks to the development of technology. Although I acknowledge the logic behind this view, I still strongly disagree with it for several reasons. Advocates for online performances may have some valid arguments. They may well argue that watching art performances through technological devices can be more flexible for audiences, especially those who can barely manage to come to the show’s venue. During the Covid-19 pandemic, for instance, many concerts of KPOP idols were broadcasted online to satisfy their fans’ need for entertainment. Another reason is that people can save a significant amount of money from opting for watching shows online. To be specific, fees for online shows are significantly lower than the live ones, thereby they are able to enjoy the entertainment online without having to pay handsomely. Nevertheless, I still strongly oppose this view and believe that attending live performances can be more beneficial to both audiences and artists. Firstly, by seeing the close-up performances, audiences are likely to enjoy and immerse in the atmosphere of the shows which is a vital factor of the entertainment’s appeal. In fact, the crowd effect at live shows may foster people’s delirium and satisfaction which helps them to relieve stress and mental exhaustion from their daily basis. As for astists, the applause from live audiences plays an important role in encouraging them to be more enthusiastic on stage. As a result, the performers can grow to love their professions more as their devotion receives deserved recognitions from the viewers. In conclusion, despite the advantages that enjoy the showcases online can bring, admiring them in real life offer audiences irreplaceable experiences and performers can also be motivated to dedicate to their work. Many households feel it is crucial that both husband and wife have to share the financial burden. A school of thought holds that higher income from the parents will bring many advantages to their children. However, some others are opposed to this idea, claiming that the children of working parents suffer from neglected parenting. From my perspective, both views are of great significance in equal measure, and I will further elaborate in this essay. A large number of people believe that children will enjoy a better life quality if both their father and mother go to work. It is undeniable that these families will have higher incomes and can afford lots of costly things such as high-end clothes, video games, and mobile phones. Furthermore, their parents can also provide their children with high-quality medical and healthcare services as well as comprehensive education. Thanks to their parent’s wealth, children can greatly benefit from many opportunities to experience, discover more, and enjoy a prosperous life. As a matter of fact, the children of working parents tend to come to many developed countries to study abroad. Notably, this situation will have a bad impact on children’s social awareness as well as their physical and mental development. For example, children are likely to learn many bad behaviors from toxic friends, which negatively affects their personality. Furthermore, immersing themselves in smoking and drinking alcohol will cause mental disorders and health problems. In addition, parents who are too engrossed with their work tend to have no time to share and communicate with their offspring. Consequently, it limits the communication and life skills of the descendants when they have no one to confide in. Despite the aforementioned explanations, I would contend that the drawbacks of this tendency can overshadow its opposite, owing to a few clarifications. Firstly, there will be a surge in the unemployment rate when a business is operated with automation. This could result in social stagnation and lower the living standard among residents. With regard to the contrasting viewpoint, I admit that some may argue that video games, especially negatively designed ones such as violent games, are likely to change players’ personalities adversely. This is mainly because people who play this genre may often be seen to display aggressive behaviour and violent tendencies. However, I still firmly believe that there are numerous types of games available apart from such not-encouraged genres, for instance, solving puzzles, math or sports games. Additionally, the fact that some prefer to download violent games may possibly be pertinent to their social background, social groups and relationships with other people, which may appeal to them to choose such games. If players see fit to hone their logical thinking or intellectual mind, they will probably be more tempted by games involving tackling problems. Housing shortage in metropolitan areas is a common issue we are facing currently. It is sometimes argued that only governments are able to tackle this problem. While I acknowledge the important role of the government intervention, I still hold the belief that it is not the only solution to the phenomenon as private sectors can also help to alleviate it. It is true that the governments have the authority to enact control the housing crisis by various measures. To begin with, they can reverse the trend of migrating from rural areas to the cities in search for better living standards, education, or healthcare systems, which has driven housing demand in the metropolitan areas. To be specific, they are capable of allocating national budget to improve the facilities and infrastructures in suburbs to cater people living in these areas, which may discorage them from moving to big cities. In addition, the government have an ultimate control over the real estate market which has significantly affected the housing scarcity. Seoul, the capital city of Korea, is a prime example of this, as the administration strictly restricts people from investing in the housing market. Nevertheless, I would argue that the inadequacy of housing can be solved by other private sectors. Regarding the reasons for the increasing requirement for fresh water, population explosion is perhaps the most contributing factor. It is only natural that the inflated global population means higher demand for freshwater, which is essential for individuals’ personal use, agricultural and industrial activities. Another reason is that rapid industrialization has also compounded the graveness of this issue. For instance, millions of cars are being produced every year to meet the growing need, and a startling amount of water is required during the process. Various measures, nevertheless, can be adopted by governments, organizations, and individuals to mitigate this issue. The first feasible approach is that educational institutions and authoritative bodies should increase individuals’ knowledge about water depletion issue. For instance, they should launch more campaigns to raise people’s awareness of the severe consequences of wasting water and the importance of conserving this valuable natural source, thereby encouraging them to refrain from performing activities that result in insufficient freshwater resources. Đề: The most important consideration when choosing any career or job is having a high income. To what extent do you agree or disagree? It has been suggested that people should consider money as a priority when seeking jobs or pursuing their profession. Despite this, I disagree that high salary is a key factor above all other concerns. To begin with, I strongly believe that people need stimulation in their working lives in order to trigger their interest and a sense of reward. It is undeniable that having a favourite and passionate job will lead to a happier working life. Very few of us can go through the entire career staying in a position in an industry that we feel purely bored of. For further explanation, motivation and passion act as potent shields against workplace stress and burden, fostering a positive and enthusiastic approach to work. Secondly, pursuing our dream career not only stimulate our dedication and greater efforts, but it also helps us achieve exceptional outcomes and good salary. Take Cristiano Ronaldo for example, despite his rough childhood, he has showcased a special aptitude for football since he was a child. Thanks to his remarkable talent and relentless effort he has dedicated to football, he has become a global renowned football star. What is more, he also reached the pinnacle of his career at a very young age, pursuing his burning passion with huge income. Having said that, a large number of people have to put high-salary as their first priority when choosing a job owing to financial burden in their family, They tend to work like robots without enthusiasm and motivation. Furthermore, the stressful workload combined with family burden are likely to upset them unless they are devoted and enthusiastic about their profession. Undoubtedly, this situation will have a bad impact on their well-being, cause long-term mental disorders such as anxiety and depression. For instance, millions of people have to meet psychologists annually due to overwork. Seriously, lots of individuals also attempt to suicide as they are hopeless at their work and personal life despite having a well-paid job. Hence, prioritising money when selecting a profession is not a wise decision. To conclude, good salary is crucial to human’s lives, however, it should not be the number one concern above all. In spite of financial benefits, it is not worth spending all the life time enduring the tiredness and unhappiness at the workplace purely for money.
