It is often argued that student shoud be taught to become good people in society by school. However, some individuals think that parents also should teach students. In my view, i firmly believe that not only school but also parents should educate students to become useful people in society.
School can be considered a ideal place so that students can gain knowledge and skills to enter society. Besides learning theoretical knowledge in books, nowadays, education is promoting teaching programs which have a tendency to guide the development of life skills, encourage using creativity and practical knowledge to apply lessons at school. Therefore, students can perceive both knowledge in textbooks and real life. The information which students learn will be conveyed by teachers who have experiences in teaching and also have solid practical knowledge. Moreover, parents can be quite busy, they do not have time to teach their children . Thus, it can be easier for students when they learn how to be a good members of society at school.
Nevertheless, it does not mean that parents can not teach those to their children. Many parents have knowlege about certain field and they also experience in all circumstances in life so that they can certainly communicate to their children the useful information and teach students how to behave properly to become a helpful person. Some people think that school is better to students learn this due to parents are quite swamped. Sometimes, they can not meet their children very often because they are busy and their children also focus on studying. Thus, teaching children perhaps is the impossible thing. However, I think parents should strive to talk with children and teach them how to behave properly in life.
To sum up, both parents and school are a good place to teach students. They are two important factors to make sure that students become good members in society.

On the one hand, the youngsters who have the opportunities to access education at early age will enhance their creativity and critical thinking with high pace. Children in the age from 2 to 6 years old are better at memorizing and learning the foundation knowledges. Thereby, if the parents registered for their children to the kindergartens to study basic words and digits could sharpen their memory and acquire the background knowledges for higher education. They have numerous experience in studying newborn’s behavior and emotion, thus could easily satisfy them. In addition, parenting classes provide a community for parents whose children are at the same ages, that they could share about their children’s educational measures. Therefore, the family relationships might become more connected and understanding.
On the other hand, I am convinced that taking training courses for parents is unnecessary. This is because these courses cost a high registration fee and almost all young families receive the support from the grandparents, who have experience in taking care of a child from birth until mature age. Woman in Vietnam after giving birth to a baby, for example, could ask her parents or her husband’s parents to give a hand. For example, many Vietnamese students opt for Australia to study due to its unique culture, rare wildlife and breathtaking structures. Additionally, pursuing higher education abroad contributes to the development of crucial skills. In fact, international students are required to adapt to unfamiliar environments and manage their finances effectively. As an example, if a Vietnamese student in Australia must learn to adapt quickly, solve problems independently, and make wise decisions for success. Therefore, overseas students would gain a broader understanding of the world and develop essential life skills, which would be invaluable throughout their life.
Despite this, it is challenging to pay expenses related to living and education when studying abroad. In fact, most of students tend to choose developed nations to study abroad, such as the United States, which is why they need to have a financial source to pay each day. This is exemplified by the fact that my neighbor, after studying abroad in Australia for 2 years, he had to return to Vietnam. This is because he did not afford to pay his course fees and living costs. As a result, the high cost of tuition fees and living expenses make many students challenging when going to study overseas.
In conclusion, I utterly believe that the advantages of studying in other countries, namely international exposure and the development of essential skills, eclipse its disadvantage, including the steep expenses for tuition and living. It seems to me that educational institutions should organize workshops with the view to taking to students about the benefits of studying abroad, thus it can lead to personal and professional development.

The pie chart illustrates main factors that affect negatively on productivity of agricultural land worldwide while the table describes the percentage of land degradation in three regions owing to those factors caused. Overall, the major reason is over- grazing and Europe is the region which is impacted the most by factors.
From the chart, there are four reasons that lead to degradation of worlwide land. The major factor is over-grazing and it accounts for 35%. Followed this is deforestation. 30% agricultural land become less productive due to the serious damage of forests. Next is over-cultivation with 28%. Additionally, there are also some minor reasons that lead to degradation and it only accounts for 7%.
From the factors are mentioned above, the lands of three regions given in the table also affected. To begin with deforestation, Europe has the highest rate (9,8%), Oceania and North America are 1,7% and 0,2%. It is much lower compared to Europe. Over-cultivation also affect the most in Europe (7,7%), North America is 3,3% while Oceania does not affect by this factor. However, Oceania has the highest percentage in over-grazing ( 11,3%), other regions do not impact too much.

The changes were mainly around the hospital and the largest of these was related to parking. By 2010, they decided to separate the public and staff parking by adding an exclusively public car park running along the east side of the hospital. Furthermore, two roundabouts had been constructed at both ends of the hospital road, one at the intersection with the Ring Road and another one at the City Road junction. In addition, bus stops were removed to give way to a new bus station connected to two aforementioned roundabouts.

It is claimed that there is no point in preserving some traditional approaches and customs as they are of no relevance to the individuals’ lives. Although I acknowledge the logic behind this view, I still strongly disagree with it for several reasons.
Those who support the elimination of traditions and customs may have some valid arguments. They may well argue that certain traditional practices lack ethics and even impose potential risks on individuals. The practice of inbreeding in some ethnic tribes, for instance, may result in some fetal malformations or even stillbirth. Another possible argument is that some traditional approaches may lead to unpleasing problems in modern society. For example, in some nations, girls in mountainous areas are not allowed to go to school but to stay at home and do housework. This can cause gender inequality and become obstacles in the career path of women.
Nevertheless, I still firmly oppose this claim for several reasons. Chief among these is that some traditions and customs are still applicable in today’s world. To be specific, traditions that reinforce personal responsibility and work ethics may cultivate good manners and moral standards among young generations. For instance, values such as helping the needy, hard work, and honesty taught by our forefathers should be carried on. The second reason is that the cultural values of previous generations are likely to preserve our national identity. In fact, traditional customs can hinder cultural assimilation which can be caused by globalization and cultural integration by highlighting the cultural significance among the citizens of the country.
In conclusion, it is understandable why some people may argue that old norms and traditions should be eliminated due to the lack of morality and some societal issues in modern life. However, I cannot totally support such a view as established traditions are still valid in the modern era and can foster national identity. Therefore, it is vital to determine which traditional values deserve preservation and which ones should be abolished.

As a consequence, mental health should be taken into account when it comes to peer pressure. Another negative aspect is that the attempt to gain acceptance into a group of friends can cause the young people to lose their identity. In lieu of focusing on their own strong points, some juvenviles are prone to shift their habits or hobbies to comprehensively intergrate to their mates and please them as well. A case in point is in the start of a new school year, when timid students have to change to a complete new leisure activities to engage in a conservation wither other classmates. Therefore, loosing identity is likely to be a downside of this trend.
However, these drawbacks are pale in comparison with the benefits of peer pressure. The first positive aspect is that this kind of pressure can foster students academic performance within a school environment. Studying with other well-rounded mates prevents the young from resting on laurels in order to constantly raise personal criteria. A high school student, in particular, is less likely to stop developing himself when his peers still acquire new knowledge on a daily basis. Another gain is that positive peers influence contributes to the shaping moral compass. To be a part in a good learning environment allows young people to imitate behaviours of decent individuals and also reflect on their behaviour regularly. For instance, students at school frequently learn from their friends' behaviours, which plays a fundamental role in forming their personalities. Subsequently, increasing the ability to judge things and to behave in an appropriate way is a crucial merits of peer influences.
In conclusion, the merits of peer pressure certainly surpass its demerits. Not only can people perform better in school but they also can shape a comprehensive moral compass in life.
