Topic: More and more people are migrating to cities in search of a better life, but city life can be extremely difficult. Explain some of the difficulties of living in a city. How can governments make urban life better for everyone?
It is true that there is a large number of people moving to a metropolis which is known as a place of economy, healthcare, and education development that makes city life become more and more difficult for everyone. There are a variety of possible reasons for this, but steps can definitely be taken to tackle the problem.
In my opinion, three main factors are to blame for the challenge of living in a large city. Firstly, when living in a big city we have to face complicated issues as the cost of living is likely to be much higher than it is in a small town or rural area. Besides, housing is usually much more expensive, and we have to pay higher prices for food, healthcare, and transportation. Secondly, the street and public transport systems are usually overcrowded which leads us to suffer from intractable problems such as traffic congestion, air pollution, or mental health. Finally, one of the primary reasons for social inequality is high population concentration which contributes to social issues such as high crime and poverty rates, environmental degradation, or a gap between rich and poor.
However, these problems can certainly be improved if governments have reasonable policies. I suppose that they should invest money in the building of affordable or social housing, the cost of living needs to be regulated appropriately. It is necessary for the authorities to enhance the public transport network, and encourage all residents to use sustainable public transportation which helps to reduce both air pollution and traffic jams. In Vietnam, for example, the introduction of eco-friendly buses or motorbikes to curb the air pollution problem. Another measure is that the government should promote economic development by creating more jobs in provincial towns or remote areas to help mitigate the pressure on major cities and balance social equality.
In conclusion, these difficulties will continue to survive in the future unless the government implements a range of measures to enhance a better quality of life for all citizens.

There is no need to go out to see live performance (concert...) because it is better to see them on the TV or Computer screen. Do you agree or díagree?
There is a common belief that it is unnecessary to go outside to go to a live concert because watching it at home on personal screens is much better than seeing staged performances. From my perspective, I partially agree with this statement. In this essay, I will shed light on both sides of the issue
On the one hand, I partly agree that people don’t need to participate in live performances One of the main reasons can be that people aren’t interested in concerts owing to the sky-high cost. Another reason is that home entertainment is more comfortable and economical than attending live concerts. this means that it will be one of the appropriate options for fans who can’t afford to meet the costs instead of buying tickets with prohibitive prices. For example, people can easily watch different types of free live concerts or play on the website.
On the other hand, I disagree that seeing concerts at home on personal technology is better. First and foremost, people can appreciate an enjoyable atmosphere at a crowded concert more than staying at home. Particularly, the lighting, the lively atmosphere, and the emotional audience here can’t feel at home. Besides, this is a unique opportunity for real music fans to get close and interact with well-known singers and personal favorite instrumentalists and bands. For example, people can see them on the stage, dancing, and singing with thousands of fans.

The line graph illustrates the average number of people participating in traffic by vehicles (car, bus or train) during the 60-year period.
Overall, it is clear that the figure for car and train witnesses an upward trend while that of bus sees the opposite figure. In addition, car takes the first rank in total number of commuters during the period.
In 1970, the number of people traveling by car was around 5 million, followed by bus and train at over 4 and around 2 million respectively. In the next 30 years, those driving work increased significantly by 2 million whilst people taking part in the rail system rose moderably to 3 million. By contrast, the figure for citizens using the bus had a drop of 0,5 million in 2000.
We can see the data in 2030, the figure for commuters traveling by cars is expected to reach a record high of about 9 million, and that of train users is also predicted to rise, at approximately 7 million. However, the prediction about the data of people participating in buses constantly decreases to 3 million daily.

In Los Angeles, the quantity of SO2 emitted into the atmosphere was the lowest compared to three other cities, however, the proportion of N2O emitted was quite high, around 104 micrograms per m3. With regard to Calcutta, the quantity of SO2 and N2O about minimum and maximum was not much different. The minimum of SO2 was 47 and 59 respectively, while the maximum of N2O was 30 and 52. In Beijing, the maximum of SO2 was very high (100 micrograms per m3), it was twice as much as the maximum of N2O ( 54 micrograms per m3). Nowadays, it is reported that many individuals tend to spend their resting time less actively than they used to in the previous period as a result of developing social networks as well as other online entertaining activities and the more polluted air condition of the environment. I believe that people these days do let their pace of life follow this state.
As I expressed from the beginning, the development of networks in our society and online entertainment are supposed to be the most potential reasons that keep humankind out of contact with others personally. For instance, with solely an internet-connected device, men and women can proactively communicate with others without the limitation of distance and even the difference in culture and language. They can get into an entirely new relationship that do not need to go outside. They prefer perching on the back of the sofa, watching their favorite programs, and playing their beloved games on the net than hanging out after a hard-woring day.
Another root for my opinion is that people in the past loved going outside because of the tree-covering landscape which is one of the most effective therapy in nature. They can be healed and recovered both physically and mentally by the fresh atmosphere even in the place of their house. Nevertheless, with the lower covering density of trees, as a consequence of the forest's overexploitation and cutting down trees for more construction areas, the condition of air in particular and the environment in general is being threatened which contributes as a reason making people spend their free time inactively.
For the reason mentioned above, I believe that human beings in modern times primarily spend their spare time inactively.

In the fast-paced world, it is getting more competitive to enter a university due to the increasing number of applicants. As a consequence, a debate regarding whether this situation brings positive or negative outcomes emerged. In my opinion, academic competition in this case is positive despite the fact that it may result in emotional burden among students.
One of the most significant drawbacks of the mounting growth in terms of university competition is the academic pressure and achievements it places on students. Fierce competition usually leads to anxiety, high stress levels and mental health issues. Numerous students have to face sleepless nights and burnout owing to the intense desire to outshine their peers. It is undeniable that long lasting stressful conditions can result in mental disorders and health problems, which affect students’ lives. Nevertheless, it will be less serious if the students can arrange their timetable flexibly and combine studying with other physical and entertaining activities to improve their health.
On the other hand, competition in this case can act as a driving force that motivates students to strive for academic achievements and outstanding performance. When students have to face pressure from their peers and the desire to outshine, they will strictly put their great effort into preparing for the entrance exam. As a consequence, students have opportunities to strive for success, and become more mature, disciplined and resilient, which positively foster and nourish useful soft skills and personal growth.
In conclusion, increased university competition has both advantages and disadvantages. However, its benefits outweigh the drawbacks. Students may suffer from several issues related to mental health but they will be able to gain many helpful skills, bravery and experience that are crucial to pave the way for their bright future. There should be competition in order to stimulate applicants to try their best and reach their full potential.

Over the next 50 years, services employment had almost quadrupled to just below 80% by 2012, while the figures for construction and mining industries relatively stabilised over the period. In general, during the survey period, the figure for employment reasons was in the first place. Furthermore, an upward trend was clearly depicted in a 15-year period.
Regarding the job and education reasons. Notwithstanding, a roughly similar trend was illustrated between 2 purposes, there was a difference in the patterns. From 2000 to 20005, the number of people who moved to promote their jobs witnessed an incredible upsurge ( from 60000 to 87000), in the second place, the extent of study reason had skyrocketed dramatically from 25000 to 480000. In the next 5 years, both data slackened and maintained a gradual increase ( 85000 to 91000 and 48000 to 55000 respectively). From 2010 to 2015, whilst, the statistic of education reason had a leap up to 88000, the data for job reason declined slightly to meet the last one.
In terms of the rest. Even though the extent of the adventure reason started at the lowest point with 12000, it subsequently maintained a steady rise to reach 15000 in 2015, that of the family/friend reason increased slightly from 13000 to 14000 in 2005, then, it suddenly rose to 24000 in 2010 and plateaued to 25000 in the last year.

The Fourth Industrial Revolution has helped several inventions come to life, including robots to accompany citizens in the workforce. This invention has led to a question of whether it is beneficial to develop robots for the use of working and doing housework. In my opinion, despite the convenience it brings, robots can’t be left taking individuals’ jobs.
On the one hand, machines with artificial intelligence can increase efficiency and productivity in different working fields. Robots are created using advanced technology, which allows them to perform with better capacity, are having a better performance at work compared to humans. Tasks given to them are finished with not only precision but also consistency, leading to higher efficiency and productivity in various industries. Moreover, since robots are equipped with the latest advances in artificial intelligence and, they are totally capable of conducting a thoughtful conversation with an elderly individual based on their in-depth analysis of each personality, interests and past events. Those conversations have proven effective in reducing loneliness, stress levels and the potential risk of depression among senior citizens in developing countries, such as Japan and the United States.
On the other hand, job displacement can easily occur if robots are being used too often. The widespread of adapting robots in the workforce has encountered disagreement among workers who are worried about being unemployed, especially those with low educational backgrounds and participating in manual jobs. If machines with artificial intelligence are being used in every arsenal and small enterprises, a large number of workers will become unemployed and have a hard time searching for alternative job opportunities. When numerous citizens are unable to find suitable working conditions, economic disruption will likely happen, resulting in a country being on the point of collapse. Furthermore, the integration of robots into everyday life can pose a threat to society, especially to intellectual property rights. AI-powered robots have been in the market for several years with countless purposes, ranging from essay writing to image generation. These AI features have been abused by multiple users to create individual profit. By using AI technology to generate a drawing or write an essay, they seek to profit by adding minor details and then selling them to others, proclaiming those pieces are created using only their ability and imagination. This might seem harmless, but numerous authentic artists have pointed this plagiarism action out and seek for solutions
In conclusion, despite some convenience, the use of robots in organizations and companies still has several negative impacts on the workforce

Some individuals believe that it is necessary for senior management positions to be received a much larger payment than other workers in a company . From my perspective , I totally agree with this viewpoint for several reasons which will be laid out in the following essay.
On the one hand , this viewpoint leads to disparity in payments and social inequality . Large salary gaps may make other employees feel unvalued and not respected , therefore resulting in arguments among the workforce. This has several negative impacts on work performance and job satisfaction .
On the other hand, the higher payment for senior positions is necessary because they spend a large amount of time and efforts to devote to the development of the company. The priority also means the pressure and responsibilities faced by senior management. When the company is at risk , they are responsible for offering solutions and guiding other employees to come over harsh period. Besides , offering large payment can attract and retain the best talent to work for company. Their contributes are necessary to strengthen the position’s company in the increasingly competitive market.A good compensation also encourage senior position to gain high productivity and work performance , thereby leading to job-satisfaction and overall well-being.
