In this cutting-edge age, advanced technologies such as smartphones or laptops have become one of the most inseparable things for everyone . From my perspective, I firmly hold the view that benefits pale in comparison with drawbacks that this tendency provides. On the one hand, digital devices such as mobile and smartphones have many benefits for global users. Firstly, they can improve human interaction around the world. It can be explained that these appliances are multifunctional such as sharing, expressing emotion or posting individual stories. Therefore, everyone can easily communicate with other people and this can help expand social circles between people around the world. Secondly, social media may help users gain a lot of knowledge. This means that information from computerised devices is actually wide so everyone can easily gain it anywhere and anytime. On the other hand, there are many disadvantageous reasons for the widespread adoption of smart devices. The first reason is that people will become dependent on their phones. To explain, people won’t be able to do anything without their phone. For instance, when doing difficulty exercises, students often rely on their phones to look up answers without thinking. As a consequence, if they fall into a situation without any assistance such as smartphones, they will be passive and disoriented. Another significant reason is people will become insensitive with other people. It can be seen clearly that in the digital age, most people all have their own smartphones, they are attracted by them and they are no longer interested in the world around them. As a result, this makes distance between people be extended by using smartphones. In my opinion, I agree with the first viewpoint because of some particular reasons. On the one hand, focusing on subjects that are interesting can bring some certain noticeable benefits to students. First, students can have more time for other activities in addition to studying, likely helping them to feel less stressed, increasing their productivity and enabling them to learn practical life skills. Finally, by studying fewer subjects, they are able to obtain a wealth of academic knowledge of a specific field in order to demonstrate and enhance their talents. As a result, they can have greater opportunities to have a job in the field that they are passionate about, potentially leading to a successful career in their professional lives in the future. Admittedly, opponents of taxation frequently highlight the irresponsibility of government bodies in allocating money budgets properly. Indubitably, in light of some loopholes of state budget management and multifaceted structure of taxation, various authorities participate in illicit activities, namely corruption or bribery, for personal advantages; consequently, not only would this compromise severely national economics. but this could also exert destructive influences on societal well-being as a whole. Another primary rationale why citizens are in non-compliance with paying taxes is the inexorably rising costs of living, particularly in metropolitans. From my perspective, I partly agree with this point of view. Granted, one might argue that there is no connection between news and people’s lives. This is probably predicated on the assumption that some news channels might share information that is not true and is made up. This is because when posting shocking and sensational news, they sometimes do not check if the news is right; they just care about how much profit they earn through the number of accesses. However, this reasoning is not sound because it fails to take into account the fact that news is an essential tool for warning people about danger and teaching them important things. For example, the COVID-19 epidemic was proof when people updated information on how the virus was spreading and how to prevent and get vaccinated day by day, so news is a crucial way to stay updated about uncertain events worldwide. Another contributing factor that makes me convinced of this idea is that it is not time-consuming to update changes happening locally and globally.
