The line graph illustrates information about the amount of money which was earned each year by these selected bakeries in London from 2000 to 2010. It is clear that over the ten years, both Bernie’s Buns and Robbie’s Bakery saw an upward trend in profit while there was a drop in the yearly amount of Lovely Loaves. Another interesting point is that the earnings of Robbie’s Bakery surpassed Lovely Loaves which ranked first in the beginning. According to the line graph, the amount of annual earnings of Robbie’s Bakery was nearly 60,000 pounds in 2000. This figure remained relatively stable over the first half of the period, then went up gradually before reaching a high peak at above 100,000 pounds in 2010. In 2000, the income of Bernie’s Buns was just 20,000 pounds, but this figure increased nearly twofold over the next three years. Having remained stable at approximately 40,000 pounds from 2003 to 2007, the income rose steadily and peaked at more than 60,000 pounds in 2010. Looking at Lovely Loaves’s income, it was more than 80,000 pounds in 2000. After that, there was a slight growth of about 10,000 pounds in Lovely Loaves’s income between 2000 and 2004. By contrast, Lovely Loaves experienced a plummet in earnings at approximately 40,000 pounds in 2008 and it leveled off over the last half of the year. New technologies have changed the way children spend their free time. Do you think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages? In this cutting-edge age, advanced technologies such as smartphones or laptops have become one of the most inseparable things for everyone . From my perspective, I firmly hold the view that benefits pale in comparison with drawbacks that this tendency provides. On the one hand, digital devices such as mobile and smartphones have many benefits for global users. Firstly, they can improve human interaction around the world. It can be explained that these appliances are multifunctional such as sharing, expressing emotion or posting individual stories. Therefore, everyone can easily communicate with other people and this can help expand social circles between people around the world. Secondly, social media may help users gain a lot of knowledge. This means that information from computerised devices is actually wide so everyone can easily gain it anywhere and anytime. On the other hand, there are many disadvantageous reasons for the widespread adoption of smart devices. The first reason is that people will become dependent on their phones. To explain, people won’t be able to do anything without their phone. For instance, when doing difficulty exercises, students often rely on their phones to look up answers without thinking. As a consequence, if they fall into a situation without any assistance such as smartphones, they will be passive and disoriented. Another significant reason is people will become insensitive with other people. It can be seen clearly that in the digital age, most people all have their own smartphones, they are attracted by them and they are no longer interested in the world around them. As a result, this makes distance between people be extended by using smartphones. In conclusion, although social media has brought many benefits such as recreational and studying activities, I still agree with the opinion that digital equipment has a detrimental effect on people and society. New technologies have changed the way children spend their free time. Do you think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages? In this cutting-edge age, advanced technologies such as smartphones or... The picture below shows the difference in the layout of the conference centre in 2010 and 2025. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. ANSWER: The maps illustrate the evolution in the layout of the conference center from 2010 to 2025. Overall, the conference center will witness a host of dramatic changes, with underlying purposes of residential area, meeting rooms and recreational amenities. Originally, there was a garden at southwestward, and a reception located in this vicinity. A small path was constructed connecting the reception with two rooms on the left-hand corner of the conference. In front of the reception was a small hall, and next to it was a parking lot, which stretched down to a garden on the right, and this car park was situated in the middle of two gardens. With the development plan in 2025, the southwest garden will be expanded to the middle of the conference center. The situation of the reception and two rooms will remain unchanged, however, in the vicinity of this garden, some rooms will be built to serve requirements such as meeting and leisure activities. In the future, the hall will be enlarged by the former one, and next to the hall will be a residence hall including 20 rooms. Finally, the parking lot will take the place of the garden on the right-hand corner. The picture below shows the difference in the layout of the conference centre in 2010 and 2025. These two figures thereafter witnessed an inverse trajectory in 2008, with the former decreased sharply by exactly 20%, while the latter recorded a considerable growth to 32%. The spending on clothing dipped slightly from 18% in 1958 to 16% in 2008. In 1958, the expenditure on entertainment accounted for 13%, then fell to just 6% in 2008. em mong cac thay co cham chua giup em voi a, em dang o band may a . Topic "Many working people do not have enough free time off work to spend with their families and friends. Why? What are the effects on family life and society?"
In the accelerating pace of modernization these days, given the deficiency of free time, many working people do not frequently spend their time with acquaintances and loved ones. This essay will dissect why this tendency occurs and offer some negative impacts on family life and society as a whole. Admittedly, it is an incontrovertible fact that there are many underlying causative factors explaining why some individuals do not constitute enough time for family and friends. In this day and age, as the overall population has been exponentially expanded, the cost of living, especially in large urban areas, is relatively expensive. Additional working hours, therefore, are significantly important for people to have sufficient money to cover for their daily expenses. Another rationale that can be seen is the promotion to other higher positions in the company. Because of working more hours, employees will gain more working experiences and furnish themselves with certain skills required for a promotion such as pressue-tolerant ability and problem-solving skill. Thus, there are many contributing grounds resulting in this trend. In terms of effects, this tendency may engender many negatively far-reaching consequences on the family and society at large. First and foremost, once people use more time for working, the connections between each family members may be greatly influenced in a bad way. The shortage of time that should be used for sharing and gathering renders them challenging to sympathize with the others, loosing the bonding relationship in the family. Furthermore, from a societal pespective, given that spouses do not have spare time for families and friends, the fertility rate would considerably decline owing to the hesitation of giving birth and misunderstanding each other, leading to a problematic issue for a whole society. Japanese, for instance, tend to work diligently, even on weekends, so they hardly ever have time for dating or considering giving birth, contributing to the low fertility rate and other problems. To recapitulate briefly, many individuals still spend most of their time on work, taking little time for their family and friends. Some reasons offered to explain for this phenomenon and this trend would have some destructive effects on family and society. In the accelerating pace of modernization these days, given the deficiency of free time, many working people do not frequently spend their time with acquaintances and loved ones. Question prompt: Some people think that newspapers are the best way to learn about the news. However, others believe that they can learn the news more effectively through other media. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion. Response: The incessant evaluation of society has diversified the means of access to news. While some think that they can obtain information best from traditional newspapers, others believe other media could do with equal effectiveness. From a personal viewpoint, I suppose both sides serve their own merits and demerits, and the best way to access news depends on each person’s needs and preferences. On the one hand, traditional printed papers have long been a popular means of news access because of their authenticity and availability. Before a newspaper is printed and released, it has to undergo multiple stages of fact-checking, proofreading, and censoring in order to make sure that the news is precise and credible. In addition, newspapers are usually updated and printed daily and retailed at almost every bookshop at a reasonable price, so that everyone can learn about current affairs with much ease and affordability. However, this means of news access is not so effective regarding its flexibility for those who needs to update information quickly, since the process of making a newspaper requires a lot of time. For example, when heard about a new traffic accident, people would want to immediately know about it more, so they would resort to other instant sources of information like social media or TV broadcasts instead of having to wait for the upcoming newspaper. On the other hand, there are other equally effective methods of learning news besides newspapers. To illustrate, many people nowadays, especially city dwellers and the youth, update daily information via social media platforms like Facebook, Tiktok, or Instagram. These platforms use their designated algorithms to provide users with necessary news related to their content preferences and ages just by scrolling their phones in just a few minutes. Not only does this better people’s user experience but it also save them a great amount of time learning news, which is a necessary feature in the modern world where people are becoming increasingly busy. However, such means of news can do a lot of harm. As news on those platforms is customed, users are more prone to addiction and are likely to be over-engrossed in them. Moreover, social media may contain a lot of unjustified or false news since there is not enough official control over the content of the posts. Therefore, internet users must be conscious when choosing information sources to learn through the media. To recapitulate, while printed news offers an authentic and easily obtained source of news, other media enables users to both entertain and update information quickly. Therefore, people should opt for the best way of news access based on their personal preferences and needs. Question prompt: Some people think that newspapers are the best way to learn about the news. However, others believe that they can learn the news more effectively through other media. Some people claim that the government should provide free healthcare. Others think that it’s better to invest those funds in education and culture. What is your opinion? Some individuals claim that abolishing healthcare fees should be accountable to the state. Whilst, others deem that those investments would be better in education and culture. However, personally, I reckon that these domains need to be put on an equal footing together. There are a host of reasons for the assistance of waiving healthcare tuition from the state. Firstly, it would thrive in the life span and well-being of citizens. Since the provision of free healthcare enables residents to overcome their ailments, a human's health is more likely to be much stronger to reside for a long period and be able to pursue their dream without destruction. Furthermore, in economic perspective, sponsorship in healthcare is a wise long-term strategy. For example, thanks to the good policy of the healthcare system in Japan, the elderly population also contributed significantly to the economy in this nation. Yet, investing in education and culture should be a priority for the state, albeit not to the exclusion of providing free healthcare. In the education realm, it plays an integral role in the development of a country. This is because when a nation wants to develop strongly, it depends mainly on the residents. Thus, a more educated workforce, more fast growing economy of this country is. From the culture angle, sponsorship is crucial for contributing to a nation's identity. Due to it’s long formation, there would be appeared the damage in the historic heritage if they aren’t preserved each year. Therefore, the historical company of a country would no longer be lost. In conclusion, I strongly believe that the state should invest in both healthcare and education and culture due to some valid reason. ‘ Some people claim that the government should provide free healthcare. Others think that it’s better to invest those funds in education and culture. What is your opinion? Some individuals claim that... Read more

Nhờ thầy cô chấm chữa ạ. Topic: Some people believe that children should study all subjects at school, while others think they should only study subjects they are good at or find interesting. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
Some individuals argue that it is better for students to study all subjects at school, whereas others claim that students ought to concentrate only on the subjects that they are good at or interested in. In my opinion, I agree with the first viewpoint because of some particular reasons. On the one hand, focusing on subjects that are interesting can bring some certain noticeable benefits to students. First, students can have more time for other activities in addition to studying, likely helping them to feel less stressed, increasing their productivity and enabling them to learn practical life skills. Finally, by studying fewer subjects, they are able to obtain a wealth of academic knowledge of a specific field in order to demonstrate and enhance their talents. As a result, they can have greater opportunities to have a job in the field that they are passionate about, potentially leading to a successful career in their professional lives in the future. On the other hand, I believe that studying all of the possible subjects is significantly beneficial for students. Firstly, students can be motivated to develop themselves more comprehensively due to a high level of pressure. Consequently, they are less prone to criticism and are capable of working under any high-pressure conditions. Additionally, since they can improve themselves in every aspect, they can discover their potential and therefore contribute more to the development of their countries and the world in general. Eventually, by having decent knowledge in all subjects, they will have a variety of jobs to choose in the future, which likely helps them have more chances to create relationships with different types of people in various fields so as to exchange helpful knowledge and experience to succeed in their chosen careers. In conclusion, although only studying the subjects that students have passion for is advantageous to a certain extent, I am of the belief that students should be educated about every subject at school to improve themselves in a comprehensive way. Some individuals argue that it is better for students to study all subjects at school, whereas others claim that students ought to concentrate only on the subjects that they are good at or interested... People believe that they should be able to keep all the money they earn and should not pay tax to the state. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
In today’s materialistic world, the debate surrounding paying taxes has consistently intensified. While a school of thought opine that local residents are entitled to retain whole their earnings rather than contributing to the nation, I am in disagreement with this viewpoint due to their significance in bolstering a well-rounded community. Admittedly, opponents of taxation frequently highlight the irresponsibility of government bodies in allocating money budgets properly. Indubitably, in light of some loopholes of state budget management and multifaceted structure of taxation, various authorities participate in illicit activities, namely corruption or bribery, for personal advantages; consequently, not only would this compromise severely national economics. but this could also exert destructive influences on societal well-being as a whole. Another primary rationale why citizens are in non-compliance with paying taxes is the inexorably rising costs of living, particularly in metropolitans. Specifically, multiple households with subsistence-level salary might confront financial strains resonating high taxes, which could predispose them to incur negative mental conditions, including depression as well as anxiety disturbance. Conversely, I completely advocate that individuals should take responsibility of paying taxes periodically on the grounds that only by implementing tax policies, will government sectors have adequate resources in order to enhance public amenities and basic necessities, such as mass transit, healthcare systems or cutting-edge facilities; thereby collectively ameliorating citizenry’s life quality and promoting economic advancements. Furthermore, taxation also increases the accessibility of citizens to essential services, regardless of their earnings, not only giving rise to the mitigation of social stratification but also provoking a sense of patriotism and community among the populace; resultantly, laying a concrete foundation for a thriving community. Australia could be deemed as a prime example because tax incentives and public welfare here is making individuals highly recognizant of the importance of taxation, enabling the majority of residents to secure decent lives. In conclusion, albeit aforementioned drawbacks, I affirm that people should be socially responsible for tax obligations, as it acts as a catalyst for superior living standards and an equitable community. In today’s materialistic world, the debate surrounding paying taxes has consistently intensified. While a school of thought opine that local residents are entitled to retain whole their earnings rathe... Read more

Many countries have the same shops and products. Some consider it a positive development, whereas others consider it negative. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
One school of thought holds that the appearance of the same brands in various countries takes a toll on these very countries while others argue that could make a huge contribution. This essay will discuss both views before concluding that I am of the opinion with the former. On the one hand, it is understandable why some people propose that the development of international brands in a number of nations would place impediments on them. First and foremost, this trend gives a rise to the recess of domestic goods consumption since customers have a tendency to consume products from prestigious foreign brands. This, in turn, puts a strain on local companies due to the dominance of global retailers. take nike and addidas as a clear example, their sales account for seventy percent in the total consumption of shoes of vietnam in the last two decades. On the other hand, I subscribe to the view that globalization of renowned brands is a beneficial phenomenon in several countries. The key rationale is that it could boost economic growth. The more branches are opened, the more taxes the government would be paid. Consequently, the state has more budget to pour into other pressing issues namely health service and transportation. Furthermore, these branches provide local residents a variety of multicultural shopping options. Were these similar shops and goods to disappear, they would create inconvenience for clients as some kind of products need purchasing abroad. In conclusion, while there are justifications for opposing the emergence of similar stores and goods in several nations, I would content that this should be provoke due to the number of advantages mentioned One school of thought holds that the appearance of the same brands in various countries takes a toll on these very countries while others argue that could make a huge contribution. Many people around the world use social media to keep in touch with other people and get the news. Do you think the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages? *Essay: In a highly developed world, people not only use social media to stay connected with others but also acquire information. Although this tendency has some drawbacks, I confidently assert that its benefits overshadow these. Certainly, accessing social media may spark some problematic aspects. To begin, the majority of users are addicted. Since various intriguing content is equipped on these apps, it allows people to seek out the stressful world outside to comfortably entertain themselves. Without any intervention, they are progressively confined to it and suffer from numerous health problems, which are exemplified by the increase in the rate of obesity and near-sighted patients. In addition, people are threatened with social evils on social media. When the tendency of users accessing these apps rises dramatically, it acts as a catalyst for the appearance of cybercrime. As a result, they are vulnerable to cyber violence or personal information stolen, which shifts these into a dangerous environment. Despite the pernicious effects of this trend, I wholeheartedly believe that its merits are more significant and impactful. One key rationale in favor of this view is that its users can catalyze generally with social and particularly with relatives. Retrospectively, the distance curbed the connection between people as it took a long time for the recipient to receive messages from the senders. With the cultivation of social media, these problems are immediately eradicated, allowing people to communicate with the whole world just through a screen. Another justification is the effectiveness of the business field. The most persuasive instance can be witnessed in the COVID-19 pandemic when people abandoned going out, it helped them to continually take a conference through online meetings to maintain their work. Last but not least, social media advocates people to update news swiftly. By merely having Internet access, it is not sophisticated for them to search for any information, especially with youngsters, who extremely need the Internet to catch up with trends always updating on the social apps. In conclusion, while social media presents risks concerning privacy and physical health, its advantages in promoting connectivity and information dissemination are profound. The ability to bridge long distances instantly and the capacity to share urgent news quickly affirm that the benefits of social media far outweigh the drawbacks. Some say that news has no connection with most people’s lives and it is a waste of time for most of us to read newspapers and watch news programs. Do you agree or disagree? Many people believe news doesn't connect to most people’s lives and time-consume for most of them to read newspapers and watch news programs. From my perspective, I partly agree with this point of view. Granted, one might argue that there is no connection between news and people’s lives. This is probably predicated on the assumption that some news channels might share information that is not true and is made up. This is because when posting shocking and sensational news, they sometimes do not check if the news is right; they just care about how much profit they earn through the number of accesses. However, this reasoning is not sound because it fails to take into account the fact that news is an essential tool for warning people about danger and teaching them important things. For example, the COVID-19 epidemic was proof when people updated information on how the virus was spreading and how to prevent and get vaccinated day by day, so news is a crucial way to stay updated about uncertain events worldwide. Another contributing factor that makes me convinced of this idea is that it is not time-consuming to update changes happening locally and globally. Firstly, the news might be crucial for personal safety and preparedness for some events. For example, staying updated on weather forecasts, traffic conditions, or emergency situations can help one plan and respond appropriately. Secondly, by watching the news, people may broaden their horizons about different countries. In fact, not everyone has enough finance and time to undertake outbound travel so they can broaden their understanding of diverse cultures and global issues in different cultures, societies, and regions around the world. In conclusion, although news is extremely important for keeping up with what is happening around us, it is undeniable that we should be careful when reading news online and check it from another place to avoid messing up the facts. Some say that news has no connection with most people’s lives and it is a waste of time for most of us to read newspapers and watch news programs. Do you agree or disagree? Many people believe new... Thus, some opinions deemed that sugar items should be made more exorbitant to minimize the likelihood of consumption. Personally, I partly agree because of some reasons and arguments. It is understandable why people consider extortionate sugar goods to diminish the preference of consumers. Firstly, buyers would be incentivized to opt for healthier alternatives. As you know, sugar is a basic and easiest ingredient to make the flavor sweet, but others fruits or some vegetables such as apples, grapes,..could do as well. Thus, if clients can not buy sugar for high prices, they would convert it into other items. Furthermore, the initiative of increasing the price of sugar could catalyze broader shifts in attitudes towards sugar consumption. Given the high price in the market, consumers would tend to view sugar as a specific item and consistently delete it from their daily routine. Nevertheless, this thinking can be rejected due to some strong opposite evidence. For one, it would affect the revenue of the sugar company. There is a universal pattern of customers when the price of a product grows, it would no longer be misused in the society. As a result, reducing the prices of sugar items could affect the business significantly. Moreover, in clients' perspective, it could bring them face with the diploma of financial constraints. Since it would likely be hard for some social class, specifically disadvantages, to buy the alternatives for sugar due to their low-income which actually drive them to the strain. In conclusion, I somewhat agree due to some advantages when hiking the cost of sugar and disadvantages as well. Many manufactory food and drink products contain high levels of sugar, Which causes many health problems. Sugar products should be made more expensive to encourage people to consume less sugar. The given diagrams illustrate the stages of the silkworm's life and how silk cloth is produced. Overall, there are four main stages in the development of the silkworm's life and six steps recorded in the process of producting silk cloth. According to the diagram, the silkworm's life stage starts with being layed, which takes it 10 days to hatch and turn into silkworm larvae. Next these larvae feed on mulberry leaves, which is their exclusive food. After 4-6 weeks, these larvae are covered in silk threads that takes around 3-6 days to produce full cocoons. Consequently, moths are born after a period of being covered. It is clear that the first step in the production of silk cloth is selecting cocoons and boil them in water. Then, these boiled cocoons are unwound and several strands of thread are twisted together, which make up threads 300-900m in long. Finally, threads are woven into silk fabric and dyed after that or vice versa to release final products. The given diagrams illustrate the stages of the silkworm's life and how silk cloth is produced. Overall, there are four main stages in the development of the silkworm's life and six steps recorded...
