The bar graphs compare the mean protein and calorie consumption among four different areas around the world, namely India, East Africa, Latin America, and North America. Overall, North America consistently has the highest protein and calorie intake, while the opposite was true for India. Additionally, North America is the only region where the consumption statistics in both categories exceed the recommended level. Regarding average protein intake, its standard intake is nearly 70 units in total. The amount of animal protein consumed in North America is five times as much as that of other sources, with 62 and 18 units, respectively, overtaking the advised amount, while the figures for Latin America are much lower, at 32 and 13 units, in that order. However, the average animal-derived and other origins protein intake in India and East Africa are almost comparable, at around half each. Concerning average calorie intake, North Americans account for the highest amount of around 3500 calories, surpassing the recommendation, while that of Latin Americans is just below the ideal level. Conversely, calorie intake amounts in East Africa and India are much lower, with respective figures being approximately 2400 and 2000 calories, with the latter being the lowest. The diagram shows how Liverton docks have changed since 1980. The two maps illustrate some changes in Liverton docks infrastructure since 1980. Overall, it is clear that in 1980 to today the most noticeable changes involving logistics and transport with facilities in education and residential areas. Looking at the maps more closely, one can see that the northern part had two old warehouses and two cranes in 1980. Now, the crane is cut down and constructed as a sailing club, warehouse to replace the education centre and kid’s playground. In the river 1980 had five ships run through to the coast; after more than 40 years, they had only one ship museum. The southern Liverton 1980 had one crane and one warehouse. At present, the warehouse is erected for apartments, parking and the crane converted to a hotel. Beside, the riverwalk runs along the river bank.
Đề bài: **New technologies and ways of buying and selling are transforming the lives of consumers. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?** Bài làm: Advanced technology has become an important aspect of human life, especially in the way that consumers use and purchase goods. Along with the convenience and benefits that it brings, progress in logistics and e-commerce has created a throwaway society where overconsumption encourages buyers to view and treat items as disposable rather than sustainable. Whether there is more gain than loss, however, is a paradox. On the one hand, the advancement in transportation and online trading creates a variety of options for buyers and, hence, a cheaper price to increase competitiveness. In the past, purchasing goods from overseas is restricted and costly. However, in 2024, any items can be ordered with just a click. Due to the explosion of consumption, large corporations are obligated to produce more affordable products to maintain their competitive advantages. One feasible approach to this problem is to reduce the quality of the product. Mass production has created a throwaway society, one typical example is the fast fashion industry. Well-known brands, such as Zara and H&M, produce hundreds of millions of fashion duplications from other brands annually. Customers who purchase fast fashion can follow fashion trends without spending a large amount of money for more sustainable options. These items will often eventually be disposed of after a brief period of use, leading to an increasing amount of consumer waste. In conclusion, despite the drawbacks that modern buying behaviors bring, there are, currently, no possible alternatives or solutions, therefore, consumers' lives will need to change accordingly. Differences between countries are becoming less evident each year. Nowadays, all over the world we see the same films, fashion, brands, advertisements and TV channels. To what extent do the disadvantages of this outweigh the advantages? In recent years, the trend toward globalization has led to the widespread of films, fashion, brands, advertisements, and TV channels. While this situation can benefit the worldwide economy, it leaves an even more significant downside to cultural diversity. On the one hand, blurring barriers between countries can facilitate the development of the mutual economy. By sharing the similarities in films and fashion trends, the cooperation between intercontinental enterprises working in these industries is much more viable. For instance, if the global fashion trends have many things in common, fashion brands can expand their businesses by establishing branches in other countries. This connection not only helps them generate more profit but also creates more job opportunities in society, ensuring the quality and overall well-being of local individuals in host countries. On the other hand, globalization leads to the reduction of cultural diversity. Due to the widespread traditions of developed countries through movies or TV broadcasting, individuals in developing parts will have a higher chance to approach and be amazed by such traditions. Hollywood blockbusters, for example, promote American culture through most of their products. As a result, audiences will show the propensity to imitate foreign cultures and neglect the traditions of their own countries. In the long term, this phenomenon will lead to loss of cultural identity and patriotism among various countries worldwide. In conclusion, while globalization can boost economic growth, this trend can significantly impact the cultural aspects of many countries. Therefore, I assume that the downsides eclipse the advantages of this trend. Differences between countries are becoming less evident each year. Nowadays, all over the world we see the same films, fashion, brands, advertisements and TV channels. To what extent do the disadvant... Read more

The action of working or traveling for a year between completing high school and commencing university studies is encouraged in some countries. This essay will provide a detailed explanation of both the positive and negative impacts of this policy on pupils. First of all, the most obvious advantage is not only to focus on the aim of providing students with an approved period of time that can provide them with relaxation but also nurturing and developing their ability and their soul. As a result of a hard-working period or long-term traveling, students could achieve and store a series of necessary skills that are in high demand skills in the future. Another point to make is that taking a long time to work after ending high school and preparing before entering the university can support pupils earning an amount of good pocket money and purchasing whatever is in accordance with their urgent demands. However, if students spend too much time working or traveling, there is a possibility that they will forget almost all the knowledge that they learned previously. Moreover, they can be affected and suffer a commonly-undeniable obsession with money. Indeed, money can certainly satisfy every need of humans whether these are physiological, safety, or belongingness and love needs. Money can change students' lives, afterward ruining study commitment and putting them into endlessly purchasing money. In conclusion, between the period graduating from high school and beginning university coursework, I would argue that pupils should spend a year working or traveling. They should be aware of their ultimate aim when following this policy, nevertheless, avoiding becoming much dependent on it. In some countries, students live with their family while studying at a university. In other countries, students attend university in another city. Do you think the advantages of living away from family home while attending university outweigh the disadvantages? Essays For higher education, some students choose to move to a new city, while others continue living with their parents. While both options offer unique advantages and challenges, I firmly believe that the benefits of living away from home outweigh the drawbacks. On the one hand, moving away from home for university education poses challenges related to costs and mental health. Chief among these is the increase in their spending, as there might be a monthly rent attached to their accommodation, and they cannot save on utility and food bills by bulk buying them with their parents. Another major issue lies in the lack of emotional support. Specifically, those having to relocate might not have the company of old friends or family members who can offer them encouragement and advice in the face of hard times, affecting their mental well-being and academic performance. In contrast, living away from home offers tremendous advantages that promote personal growth and academic success. The first benefit relates to an independent lifestyle. If university students reside separately with their families, they are generally fully responsible for both their academic and personal lives, gradually becoming more self-reliant when making their own decisions in terms of their daily schedules, majors, and relationships. Moreover, living away from home provides students with an environment conducive to academic focus and achievement. Students may devote more time and attention to their studies, and this increased focus frequently results in greater academic success. To summarize, while living away from home for a university degree might be difficult in terms of expense and mental health, the benefits far exceed the drawback. This experience provides students with tremendous personal growth and intellectual possibilities, transforming them into well-rounded individuals ready to face the difficulties of the modern world. In some countries, students live with their family while studying at a university. In other countries, students attend university in another city. Many people around the world use social media every day to keep in touch with other people and news events. Do you think the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages? The scenario in which social media is considered useful for communication and news observation could be seen worldwide. However, the drawbacks it leaves for the community are more significant. On the one hand, using social media to connect and browse can facilitate the overall experience. Instead of using letters or phone calls for long-distance contact, social media has effectively bridged the gap between individuals through apps like Messenger or Zalo, which allow users to convey audio and visual messages owing to the development of technology. Likewise, by uploading videos and voice records online, social media can engage people with more lively news. For instance, these days, soccer fans can rewatch their favorite matches anytime they want by visiting various sports pages on Facebook, which is impossible when using traditional newspapers. On the other hand, the chance of encountering crimes and fake news could easily occur on online platforms. In this present era, pops-up ads are tempting people by offering promising prizes, and all they need to do is fill in their private information, such as names, addresses, and social security codes. In this way, hackers can collect users' data and manipulate those for different purposes, leading to identity theft or blackmail. Regarding online news, although social media is an effective way to approach up-to-the-minute updates, some individuals are willing to post misleading information for that sense of fame and attention. Consequently, the widespread of such information will lead to confusion in society if it is not adjusted within a reasonable time. In conclusion, contacting and watching news via social media can be beneficial, but the disadvantages are more severe, particularly in terms of individuals' safety and false information. Therefore, I assume the advantages are eclipsed by the downsides. Many people around the world use social media every day to keep in touch with other people and news events. Topic: It is important for children to learn the difference between right and wrong at an early age. Punishment is necessary to help them learn this distinction. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion? As awareness of child development has significantly increased in recent years, early education has emerged as a topic of interest. It is argued that children should not be punished to learn the distinction between right and wrong, irrespective of their actions. While this thinking is valid to a certain extent, i believe that appropriate punishment would have a positive influence on children's improvement. There are many compelling reasons why parents and teachers should avoid punishing children at an early age. On an individual level, children who are regularly punished may have a higher risk of developing mental health issues, leading to childhood trauma as they grow up. On a societal level, excessive punishment can contribute to an environment with fear and resentment rather than understanding and cooperation among peers. This may act as a precursor to hindering social cohesion and the development of positive relationships among individuals within the community. However, despite the aforementioned concerns, i would contend that implementing proper punishment, in fact, can be helpful to both children and society. Today, the lines between right and wrong can be blurred, especially with the influence of digital media and peer interactions. Therefore, if children are taught the consequences of their actions through appropriate punishment, they will better understand the impact of their behavior and make informed, ethical decisions in the future. In addition to this, the enormous cost incurred to rectify societal issues stemming from undisciplined behavior will put a strain on government coffers, potentially leading to budget deficits, tax hikes, or reduced welfare. In conclusion, while avoiding punishment has benefits, I believe that using appropriate discipline can help create a more responsible society. Topic: It is important for children to learn the difference between right and wrong at an early age. Punishment is necessary to help them learn this distinction. Many people put their personal information online (address, telephone number, and so on) for purposes such as signing up for social networks or online banking. Is this a positive or negative development? Several individuals provide their personal information on the Internet for reasons such as online banking or social networking, and this has led to a question of whether it is beneficial to put that information online. In my opinion, despite the convenience it brings, Internet users shouldn’t share their private information. On the one hand, it is understandable why people decide to share their information on the Internet. Firstly, the availability of personal information online helps access crucial services such as healthcare and education. The Fourth Industrial Revolution doesn’t just happen in one specific speciality, but in all sorts of fields with a view to For instance, online programs provide users with vaccine appointment registration, educational resources and job applications. Secondly, by collecting private information, individuals’s preferences and tastes will be better understood by organizations. Companies ought to use collected data, analyze it and come up with a strategy to enhance customers’ experience. On the other hand, posting personal data on the Internet makes users potentially susceptible to criminal activities. The private information shared online including one’s name, addresses or social security numbers can be exploited for illicit purposes such as financial fraud. Hackers can easily utilise their social engineering degree to exploit a wealth of vulnerable consumer data, stealing thousands a sheer volume of social security numbers and reselling them on an anonymous broker’s online platform. This led to a large number of retired workers losing million-dollar pensions to a sophisticated online hacking scheme. Moreover, the number of users sharing their information without verifying the registration page are undoubtedly high over the years and hasn’t seemed to stop. Sensitive data can simply be collected and shared for multiple purposes, including identity stealing and blackmailing. This invasion of internet privacy can cause financial and psychological damage to the victim for a long time In conclusion, despite some conveniences, registering personal details online is a negative development considering the risk of online fraud and information stealing. Nowadays the way many people interact with each other has changed because of technology. In what ways has technology affected the types of relationships people make? Has this become a positive or negative development? In current, the advancement of technology has adjusted the interpersonal interactions and profoundly affected relationships. However, it is dilemma to state that whether this innovation is beneficial or detrimental. Therefore, this essay will elaborate further on this core point and point out my perspective in its development. The noticeable impact on human interaction associated with high-tech is the means of communication. This is because the significant enhancement of technology has created numerous modern apps, which contributes to the replacement from the traditional communication to online way. For instance, in 20 years ago, especially in Viet Nam, the major means to interact was directly talking or sending letters in case of far distance. In contrast, currently, people are able to connect to everyone just by these apps such as Messanger, Zalo and make a call in their leisure time. Indeed, this innovation will lessen the limits in communication from numerous potential factors. On another hand, this development has hindered some crucial social skills in individuals. Because this adjustment can encourage young generations to begin the conversation through texting. When they engage in long-term online interaction, they can have difficulties or lost their confidence to deal with real situation. For example, after Covid 19, some primary students felt hard to express themselves in class although they are very social in group chatting. Furthermore, in the severe condition, some people can even loss their interest to participate in any face-to-face interaction.
