The line graph illustrates the average amount of time that four car companies spent in manufacturing vehicles at their factories in the US between 1998 and 2005. Overall, there was a decline in the average hours of all four manufacturers, with the most significant fall being seen in the figure for General Motor company. In addition, Ford, Toyota and Honda car builders remarkably fluctuated during the given period. The amount of time spent by General Motor to produce cars started at 32 hours in 1998, after which it experienced gradual decrease to roughly 25 hours in 2002, before ending the period at approximately less than 22 hours. In contrast, the figure for Ford company was at 28 hours per vehicle, then it saw a slight increase to about 31 hours in the year of 201 and finally followed by a dramatic decrease to nearly 21 hours in 2005. The average hours to produce a Toyota and a Honda vehicle fluctuated in an opposite direction. While Toyota company slightly increased from 22 hours in 1998 to 23 hours spent in producing a car in 1999, the figure for Honda dropped from 22 to 20 hours in the same years. However, the amount of time to produce a car by Toyota and Honda significantly fluctuated in the next following years and decreased to 20 hours in 2005. Topic: It is important for children to learn the difference between right and wrong at an early age. Punishment is necessary to help them learn this distinction. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion? As awareness of child development has significantly increased in recent years, early education has emerged as a topic of interest. It is argued that children should not be punished to learn the distinction between right and wrong, irrespective of their actions. While this thinking is valid to a certain extent, i believe that appropriate punishment would have a positive influence on children's improvement. There are many compelling reasons why parents and teachers should avoid punishing children at an early age. On an individual level, children who are regularly punished may have a higher risk of developing mental health issues, leading to childhood trauma as they grow up. On a societal level, excessive punishment can contribute to an environment with fear and resentment rather than understanding and cooperation among peers. This may act as a precursor to hindering social cohesion and the development of positive relationships among individuals within the community. However, despite the aforementioned concerns, i would contend that implementing proper punishment, in fact, can be helpful to both children and society. Today, the lines between right and wrong can be blurred, especially with the influence of digital media and peer interactions. Therefore, if children are taught the consequences of their actions through appropriate punishment, they will better understand the impact of their behavior and make informed, ethical decisions in the future. In addition to this, the enormous cost incurred to rectify societal issues stemming from undisciplined behavior will put a strain on government coffers, potentially leading to budget deficits, tax hikes, or reduced welfare. In conclusion, while avoiding punishment has benefits, I believe that using appropriate discipline can help create a more responsible society. Topic: It is important for children to learn the difference between right and wrong at an early age. Punishment is necessary to help them learn this distinction. Many people put their personal information online (address, telephone number, and so on) for purposes such as signing up for social networks or online banking. Is this a positive or negative development? Several individuals provide their personal information on the Internet for reasons such as online banking or social networking, and this has led to a question of whether it is beneficial to put that information online. In my opinion, despite the convenience it brings, Internet users shouldn’t share their private information. On the one hand, it is understandable why people decide to share their information on the Internet. Firstly, the availability of personal information online helps access crucial services such as healthcare and education. The Fourth Industrial Revolution doesn’t just happen in one specific speciality, but in all sorts of fields with a view to For instance, online programs provide users with vaccine appointment registration, educational resources and job applications. Secondly, by collecting private information, individuals’s preferences and tastes will be better understood by organizations. Companies ought to use collected data, analyze it and come up with a strategy to enhance customers’ experience. On the other hand, posting personal data on the Internet makes users potentially susceptible to criminal activities. The private information shared online including one’s name, addresses or social security numbers can be exploited for illicit purposes such as financial fraud. Hackers can easily utilise their social engineering degree to exploit a wealth of vulnerable consumer data, stealing thousands a sheer volume of social security numbers and reselling them on an anonymous broker’s online platform. This led to a large number of retired workers losing million-dollar pensions to a sophisticated online hacking scheme. Moreover, the number of users sharing their information without verifying the registration page are undoubtedly high over the years and hasn’t seemed to stop. Sensitive data can simply be collected and shared for multiple purposes, including identity stealing and blackmailing. This invasion of internet privacy can cause financial and psychological damage to the victim for a long time In conclusion, despite some conveniences, registering personal details online is a negative development considering the risk of online fraud and information stealing. Many people put their personal information online (address, telephone number, and so on) for purposes such as signing up for social networks or online banking. The diagram illustrates how recycled paper is made. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant. The diagram gives information about the stages involved in the process of recycling paper As can be seen from the diagram, there are four main stages, beginning with the making of pulp and ending with the production of recycled paper. At the first stage of producing recycled paper, used paper is placed on a conveyor belt which moves it into a mixture of water and chemicals, where the paper is broken into unfiltered pulp. Next, the pulp undergoes a filtration process before turning into filtered pulp. This is followed by a cleaning stage, in which water, soap and air are being used to wash the pulp and remove leftover ink. In the last stages, the cleaned pulp goes through a drying process using heated rollers to remove excess water. Finally, the dried paper is made into individual rolls and ready to be used. Nowadays the way many people interact with each other has changed because of technology. In what ways has technology affected the types of relationships people make? Has this become a positive or negative development? In current, the advancement of technology has adjusted the interpersonal interactions and profoundly affected relationships. However, it is dilemma to state that whether this innovation is beneficial or detrimental. Therefore, this essay will elaborate further on this core point and point out my perspective in its development. The noticeable impact on human interaction associated with high-tech is the means of communication. This is because the significant enhancement of technology has created numerous modern apps, which contributes to the replacement from the traditional communication to online way. For instance, in 20 years ago, especially in Viet Nam, the major means to interact was directly talking or sending letters in case of far distance. In contrast, currently, people are able to connect to everyone just by these apps such as Messanger, Zalo and make a call in their leisure time. Indeed, this innovation will lessen the limits in communication from numerous potential factors. On another hand, this development has hindered some crucial social skills in individuals. Because this adjustment can encourage young generations to begin the conversation through texting. When they engage in long-term online interaction, they can have difficulties or lost their confidence to deal with real situation. For example, after Covid 19, some primary students felt hard to express themselves in class although they are very social in group chatting. Furthermore, in the severe condition, some people can even loss their interest to participate in any face-to-face interaction. To conclude, technology has affected our relationships through the significant increase of online communication. Particularly, this innovation also has the adverse impact on social skills for young people. Therefore, I firmly believe that it is necessary to balance between new and traditional interaction in order maintain the relationships. Nowadays the way many people interact with each other has changed because of technology. In what ways has technology affected the types of relationships people make? The picture illustrates how cheese is made. Overall, the process consists of two main stages, with the first one turning raw milk into solid form, which is then processed in the second one to make cheese as the final product. Regarding the first stage, raw milk can be processed in two methods, namely most cheese making and traditional cheese making. In the former, milk is first pasteurized, then standardized, and filtered, all of which are dispensable in the latter. Next is the inoculation stage where milk is mixed with fermenting microorganisms and rennet (enzyme) in a tank to form coagulation (curdling), comprising curds and whey. Subsequently, the thickened mixture is cut, stirred, and cooked. Concerning the second stage, once the whey has been drained out, needed curds are then milled and seasoned with salt to create fresh cheese, including cottage and cream cheese, before being poured into moulds via a conveyor belt. The process continues when fresh cheese is pressed to drain additional whey, followed by the storage step to let it ripe over time to form the final product: ripened cheese. The line graph illustrates the Australian export volume to four countries, namely Japan, the US, China, and India, between 1990 and 2012. Overall, there were increases in the export proportions to China and India over the period, while the opposite was true for those to Japan and the US. Additionally, China experienced the most significant growth, becoming the largest importer at the end of the period, while Japan was the largest importer for most of the given timeframe. Regarding India and China, in 1990, among the four destinations, these two countries were the smallest exporters of Australia, with negligible figures of 1% and 2%, respectively. Thereafter, China’s importance rose over the period, as the export rate to this country had grown steadily to 5% by 2000, before quintupling to just under 30% over the next 12 years. Likewise, India’s share experienced similar changes, albeit to a much lesser extent, stabilizing at around 1% until 2000, followed by a steady incline to peak at approximately 7% in 2009 before ending the period with a marginal fall of 2%. Concerning the remaining countries, initially, Japan was the leading destination shown for Australian goods, with more than a quarter of total exports going there, twice the figure for the US, at 11%. In the following years, while the share of exports to Japan fell to 17% and remained relatively unchanged at this level towards the end of the period, that of the US fluctuated wildly, bottoming out at 5% in 2010 before recovering slightly to 7% in the final year. Some people argue that fashion items cost too much money. Others say that this is acceptable because fashion is an important part of life. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
Some people believe that fashion items are too high-cost while others hold the view that it is acceptable because in today's society, fashion plays a crucial role in our lives . So this essay is going to examine both sides and argue for why I lean towards the latter viewpoint. On the one hand , now in the market , many fashion items are overpriced but it is not certain that they are high-quality products . For instance , plenty of fashion goods are sold at exorbitant prices as they are products that come from big brands . Meanwhile , we can buy items with the same quality and design for a small amount of money in the market or some small brand. In addition ,selling such items also makes it more difficult for some families because they cannot afford it. On the other hand , it is undeniable that fashion items are sold at high prices but I am sure that prices coupled with the quality . Since the cost of the material that makes the products determines the item's prices . If the material is good and durable , it is sure that the prices will be high . Besides these expensive items normally are highly aesthetic and creative that cheaper products rarely have ,and do not go out of fashion over time. Finally, it helps the wearer become comfortable and stand out, especially at luxurious parties so although the prices are high , many individuals are willing to invest a significant sum of money to buy it Conclusion, depending on ability and needs, each person will choose the right items for themselves. Some people believe that fashion items are too high-cost while others hold the view that it is acceptable because in today's society, fashion plays a crucial role in our lives . Some people believe that the government should take care of disadvantaged people such as the unemployed and homeless people in their countries. Do you agree or disagree? In recent time, there has been an intense debate regarding the government subsidy for inhabitants who are unemployed and homeless. Despite a number of controversies on both sides, I staunchly stated that these circumstances are not worth receiving the government’s resources. It is commonly true that these disadvantaged residents are making use of the nation’s humanitarian aspects in order to support their laziness. Indeed, these individuals are less likely to engage in working as well as render seeking jobs unnecessary. Undoubtedly, the budget supplied by authorities may facilitate their dependence and therefore tend to live sedentarily without any contribution to the national economy. A pertinent example of this can be found in the USA, where the homeless rate is considerable that the government even reminded its dwellers not to advocate for this inappropriate demeanor. Another compelling factor that rationalizes my viewpoint can lie in other alarming issues which worth receiving the top priority. Noticeably, some concerning matters including education, health care, and environmental conservation are the factors that should receive greater emphasis. In order to do so, government resources should be allocated wisely to these categories and take the concern of homeless and unemployed people for granted. One measure for this stance which authorities should take is that instead of providing the budget for these disadvantaged people, it is notable to take into consideration that offering better job opportunities for these residents can serve as a more pragmatic approach. Undeniably, a traditional saying noted that “give a man a fish to feed him for a day, teach a man to fish to feed him for a lifetime”, which means offering a way for individuals to make ends meet can effectively do away with their reliance and trigger their industrious personality. In conclusion, I strongly advocate my belief that the humanitarian aspect can facilitate the dependence of disadvantaged citizens. So as to avert this problem, guiding but not giving would ultimately not only foster the hard-working characteristics of the individual but also create a permanent means of maintaining life. Some people believe that the government should take care of disadvantaged people such as the unemployed and homeless people in their countries. Do you agree or disagree? Some people believe that it is a good idea that older people continue to work if it is possible for them to do. Do you agree or disagree Essay It is sometimes believed that elderly people should continue to work after retiring in their workplace. This essay strongly agrees with this suggestion as now will be discussed. The first argument behind my belief is that having workers who have passed retirement age at work can relieve pressure on society. This is because these trends can save the government subsidy for retirees, which allows the government to spend funds building and improving country manufacturers. Retirement benefits vary from country to country but a payment every month for entire workers is a common theme. If the elderly continue to go to work, the government can cut a huge amount of expenses to allocate the country’s social welfare. This is the case of Japan, which has a high aging rate so the government encouraged many elderly continue with their work, which can help the country save more money to pay for retirees and use this fund to develop the country. Another point worth mentioning is that older people can maintain their mental and physical health by continuing to go to the workplace. After retirement, workers who live alone often suffer from boredom and loneliness, which leads to a declining mental health for them. To solve this, the elderly can go to work to find joy in their workplace. This solution can help the business have more experienced employees and cut training costs for newly hired staff who are inexperienced in the company. In conclusion, I totally agree that having older people who are mentally and physically fit at work is a positive development. Some people believe that it is a good idea that older people continue to work if it is possible for them to do. Do you agree or disagree Essay It is sometimes believed that elderly people shoul... Presently, workers can access the site via an entrance and reception in the north, separating offices and a canteen in the south from a central yard. According to the proposal, three 2-bedroom houses and communal gardens are expected to be constructed, surrounded by private roads, replacing the entrance, reception, and yard. Meanwhile, offices and a canteen are also projected to be removed, making space for parking garages. Bordering the west and south of the area are Toe Lane and Pie Walk, in that order. Recently, possessing the west of the site is a parking lot and a storage facility, while in the east is a factory. Following the plan, the parking lot will be relocated to the east, along with the removal of the storage, allowing 3- and 4-bedroom houses to be built, while the factory is predicted to be changed into an apartment complex. Throughout history, male leaders have led us into violence and conflict. If a society is governed by female leaders it will be more peaceful. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion? It is believed that leaders’ being men is the driving factor behind wars and violence throughout history and it would have been more bloodless had such leaders been females. Although I agree that male leaders are those causing the past wars and conflict, I hold the opinion that leaders’ being women is not synonymous with more peacefulness. Granted, male leaders did cause a large number of wars and conflicts. To explain, it is undeniable that the essence of male is to be violent and aggressive, which are the contributing factors of violence. Two telling examples are the two World Wars whose combatants’ armies were led by males. As a result, it is justifiable to conclude that the world’s past wars are generally caused by male leaders. However, I believe that genders of leaders are not a factor contributing to the peacefulness of the world. It is argued by numerous people that a significantly less violence and conflicts are caused by the female means that they are more likely to preserve the world’s tranquility, which is absolutely a fallacy. This is because the quantity of female leaders in history is considerably less than that of the male due to gender preconception, which could be the reason for the moderate number of wars or conflicts led by females. Additionally, it is the women’s essence to be jealous and greedy despite their gentleness especially when they hold the power of a leader. Therefore, the likelihood is that these personalities would lead to as many wars and conflicts as that of men. Vo Thuan Thien, who has caused a wild war in China, is the telling justification of this. In conclusion, while I do agree that the majority of past wars and conflicts are caused by leaders who are men, I hold the view that genders of leaders have nothing to do with the world’s tranquility. Throughout history, male leaders have led us into violence and conflict. If a society is governed by female leaders it will be more peaceful. Đề bài:Some people think that in modern society individuals are becoming more dependent on each other. Others believe people have become more independent. Discuss both views and give your own opinion. These days, it is assumed by several individuals that people tend to be contingent on each other while some believe people live by individualism. Both views will be explained logically in this essay and I will offer my personal stance on the matter. Advocates of the growing independence point out that modern age has parallel development with technological advancement, hence it enables people doing something that they want. To illustrate, with outstanding intelligence and deep knowledge understanding, Chat GPT software allows people to use it to answer questions about most fields such as making poems, sophisticated math exercises and graphic design. Moreover, the diversity of the platform also creates a tendency for people to become more independent. Entertainment apps such as facebook, Youtube allow people to share their video and enjoy numerous entertainment content about exploring virtual worlds, comedy or thriller. As a result, they use it in along time instead of participating outdoor activities which are need some person to play together Nevertheless, I would firmly agree with those who believe that people are more dependent in the 21st century. This is because modern society is characterized by growing interconnectedness and interdependence among nations. This dependence could arise from a number of causes, such as specialization, division of labor, economies of scale and technology. For instance, in commercial international relationships ,nations can be interdependent in export and import categories and services. One country may specialize in producing a certain good at a lower cost and export it to other countries, while other countries may supply other goods. Each country's citizens benefit from obtaining products and services that that country cannot mass-produce on its own production. In conclusion, it must be acknowledged that technological advances could allow people to have a certain extent of freedom.Despite this, I hold the view that we are more independent than ever Đề bài:Some people think that in modern society individuals are becoming more dependent on each other. Đề bài: It’s a natural process for animal species to become extinct (e.g. dinosaurs and dodos no longer exist). There is no reason why people should try to prevent this from happening. Do you agree or disagree? It is believed that humans should not take responsibility for the extinction of various animal species like dinosaurs or dodos because this is an inevitable rule of nature. However, I assume this statement is absurd since human actions have directly affected animals in terms of their habitat and population. First and foremost, the development of metropolitan areas is the core reason for destroying natural habitats. Due to industrialization and the demand for accommodation, more forests have been cut down for urban planning, resulting in the deterioration of natural resources for both humans and animals. Consequently, wild species are forced to compete for limited food and shelter, which will lead to the decline and eventual extinction of their own kind. This imbalance in the ecosystem not only threatens animal species but also poses significant challenges for human well-being. However, the act of hunting has more significant consequences for the animal population. During ancient times, it was typical that humans would hunt wild creatures like dodos for food and clothing, which was part of the reason why some rare species were unable to live up until this day. Turning to the modern context, poaching for money lies at the root of the disappearance of various animals. In Vietnam, for example, the Javan rhino has been confirmed as extinct due to poachers, ringing the alarm bell about the need for strict regulation against such an action. In conclusion, the evidence presented above shows that the extinction of numerous species is a manmade process. Thus, I believe that individuals should shoulder this responsibility and take action to retain the balance of the ecosystem. Đề bài: In many cities, planners have located shops, schools, offices and homes in specific areas which may be widely separated from each other. Do you think the advantages of this policy outweigh the disadvantages for city residents? The scenario in which commercial and residential areas are planned separately can be seen in many metropolitan areas. While this policy is disadvantageous to residents' commuting aspect, I personally assume that the benefits are more significant. On the one hand, the further the distance between shops, schools, offices, and homes, the more struggle the citizens endure. First and foremost, traveling to the aforementioned locations is a time-consuming task for most families with children. Due to long-distance travel, not only do parents need to arrange their time for work, but they also need to manage their children's schedules to avoid being late for school. Buying essential commodities would take a long time because of the vast distance between shops and other facilities. Consequently, by spending most of their time commuting, the exorbitant cost of transportation is inevitable, putting a tremendous burden on city dwellers' financial status. On the other hand, the benefits of segregating areas are more noticeable in terms of reducing noise pollution and accommodation costs. Firstly, noise pollution is a significant problem in public places like shops, schools, or offices since these places are crammed with people. Therefore, separating residential areas from a long distance will mitigate the chance of being disturbed by such noise, heightening life quality and overall well-being for every citizen. Secondly, the housing cost in central cities could be reduced by separating facilities in urban planning. It is a typical picture in cities like Ha Noi or Ho Chi Minh, where areas for residential, commercial, and educational purposes are located adjacent to each other and are known for their high accommodation cost due to the high demand of their citizens. Thus, spatial segregation is necessary for cities to reduce the housing demand, avoiding the continuous rise of accommodation costs for city residents. In conclusion, while it is true that there may be some drawbacks, the proposal to segregate various facilities is beneficial for city dwellers in terms of noise and housing cost reduction. Hence, I believe that this policy's benefits outweigh the downside. Topic: Some people think that children should begin their education at a very early age. Some think they should begin at least 7 years old. Discuss both views and give your own opinion Opinions are divided on whether children should start their formal learning in their earlier years or waiting until they reach at least 7 years of age. While some argue that starting schools at a young age can be beneficial for kids, I believe that children should attend schools when they are 7 years old. Admittedly, there are reasons why kids should be sent to schools as early as possible. Firstly, it is necessary for children to start schools at a young age because they have the ability to absorb advanced knowledge more easily, enhancing cognitive and intellectual development. This can allow them to become more successful later in life. Secondly, in some circumstances, parents must resort to sending their offspring to childcare centers early due to the growing workloads and increasing living costs. By doing this, they will have more time for work, which can ease the burden related to their kids on a regular basis. However, I believe that there are stronger reasons why postponing education until the age of 7 is advantageous for pupils. It is obvious that academic study during children’s early years can lead to unwanted stress, thus they are unable to handle the often burdensome schoolwork and rules at schools. For this reason, this practice is not necessary for those in the initial stages of their lives, who should be encouraged to enjoy their childhood rather than be over-burdened in their studies. In Finland, for instance, Finnish children do not start their school until age 7 and has the right to child care and preschool by law, regardless of family income. It can be seen that Finland is a country often ranking highly in most educational surveys. Furthermore, kids who reach the age of seven possibly become mentally and physically strong, which have the capacity to tackle the educational environment. In conclusion, although there are some arguments in terms of an early commencement of study for children, I still believe that it is more beneficial for pupils to delay formal schooling until they reach 7 years of age.
