In many countries, the number of people working from home has increased significantly due to the advancements in technology. While some argue that this trend has numerous benefits, others believe it can lead to serious problems. Discuss both views and give your own opinion. You should spend about 40 minutes on this task. Write at least 250 words. In a lot of locations all over the world, the number of people who work remotely has increased dramatically as a result of the development in technology. Some people claim that this trend has plenty of merits, whilst the others argue that it can cause some demerits. This essay strongly believe that the advantages of this trend overshadow the disadvantages, and I will discuss more in these paragraphs below. One of the biggest benefit is the limitless of information resources, it may have a great affect in solving the tasks, when we get trouble due to the lack of our knowledge or information, we can find out it easily, for instance Google is multi functional web and almost all citizens based on it to search for the new information, even an academic essay Moreover, working from home is cost-effective, in lieu of hiring a taxi to commute, we just need to stay at home and open the devices, that mean we can save a large amount of money and spend it for another purposes, for example to rent a taxi in Vietnam is costs approximately 100 thousand VND to move a distance about 7kms. On the other hand, some terrible circumstances such as low quality internet or power cut, not to mention, if we haven't saved a file yet, it means we have to refill the tasks. This situation have been happened for many times in some undeveloped countries like Vietnam or Peru. In addition, it can create a sedentary lifestyle, when we just stay at home and depend on our high tech stuffs, after Covid 19, many people didn't want to go to their companies, they wanted to work remotely. In conclusion, from my perspective, distance employment benefits has numerous benefits, regardless, there are some drawbacks, it will take a lead in the future. In many countries, the number of people working from home has increased significantly due to the advancements in technology. The swimmers participating in the tournament are all very strong and experienced in this subject. I'm just a student so I don't think I won three matches and made it to the finals. The final match was very tense because they were the strongest in the remaining rounds, my cousin and I would compete for the gold medal with them. Finally, after a lot of effort, we won third place and received a bronze medal. We are very happy and I feel proud to do it I feel proud to have won a bronze medal in swimming in Huu Lung district. The provided bar chart illustrates the proportion of individuals opting to watch movies at cinemas in a European country seven days a week in the three years: 2003, 2005, and 2007. Overall, it is apparent that on every Thursday, the number of cinema-goers was estimated at the lowest percent. While the data recorded on Saturdays displays an opposite trend from the beginning to the end of the given period. When it comes to the first day of the week, the average percentage of people going to cinemas was about 12%. The following day, that number was four times higher than on Mondays as the rate of cinemas entrance in 2005 witnessed a twofold increase after only one day. However, there was a slight decrease in the average proportion to 13% on Wednesdays, followed by a further 2% decline on Thursdays. Nevertheless, the percentage of the public entering cinemas every Friday remained constant in the three-year period (30%). The map below shows the development of a seaside village between 1995 and the present. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. ----------- The map reveals the disparities between the residential levels and land use of a seaside area, in 1995 and in the present. A broad view of the two maps delineates the expansion in accommodations and the appearance of more amenities over the past few decades. Firstly, in 1995, the village occupied the north-west area, with houses located along the main street. Moreover, there was a smaller residential place underneath the former. The other top corner was utilized as agricultural land which was near a forest park. Interestingly, the only village route led to a T-junction, the left turn made ways for trading comprising shops and fish market, meanwhile the right counterpart shifted towards tourist-oriented. Contrastly, in the present, while the main road has remained static, an extension – a smaller one, leading to the opposite side of the old forest park which was also flattened down, was introduced. Therefore, in terms of residence, the housing ratio witnessed a significant rise. Next, a sports playground including golf, and tennis areas replaced the land of agriculture. Noticeably, the commercial region, recently, transferred into restaurants and permanent accommodation such as apartments. Meanwhile, there was a new amenity providing residents with parking spaces near the hotel. Lastly, the fishing port was demolished. Some people believe that the government should prioritize investments in public services, such as education and healthcare, over spending on the arts. Others, however, argue that investing in the arts is equally important. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion. Provide relevant examples from your own experience or knowledge to support your answer. You should spend about 40 minutes on this task. Write at least 250 words. Some people claim that the government should invest more in public services, for example education and healthcare, more than spending on the arts, Whilst, the other believe that it is equal when the government invest in the arts. I completely concur with the first statement . These following paragraphs will elaborate on this viewpoint. First and foremost, education and healthcare have play a significant role in our society for a long time, regarding to the benefits of investing in the education, we can use the money to train talents to serve for our country, then we can base on the ability of them and earn a large amount of money, moreover, promoting the quality of the teaching and learning is really essential too, due to a fact that more high-tech devices will facilitate the teaching and also studying. In addition, in term of investing for the public healthcare, the government can upgrade the medical systems by developing the infrastructures, the facilities and the implication of this is the fact more and more people can be rescued and treated, particularly in some developing countries like Vietnam, Lao. For example during the Covid 19 pandemic, the government invested approximately 1 million dollar for the hospitals and medicines, therefore, it led to the death cases in Vietnam much lower when we compared to America or England. Regardless, the speculation on the arts can help the citizens to enjoy some spectacular painting and we can utilize it to entertain and advertise the country culture, spending for public services still more indispensable. In conclusion, although subsidizing for the arts can bring a several merits, investing on the public service is a main key to develop the country. Some people believe that the government should prioritize investments in public services, such as education and healthcare, over spending on the arts. Others, however, argue that investing in the arts... Read moreLyn
