Whether or not a person achieves their aims in life is mostly related to luck. To what extent do you agree or disagree? There is an ongoing debate about whether the primary determinant of success in achieving goals is luck. Although I believe that luck is one of the factors attributed to people’s achievements, I firmly disagree with this statement since there are other elements that are much more significant. Admittedly, fortune plays an essential part in contributing to the success of a person. First, a successful business is often considered a matter of luck. For instance, individuals who start business in unexpected situations such as economic depression and Covid-19 pandemic must bear a huge amount of losses or even close their business. In contrast, those who operate their business at the right time with the right people easily achieve their targets. Second, whether achieving good academic results is sometimes thanks to luck. For example, students may pass an exam with high scores if they have previously prepared for similar topics. Another example is that high scores on multiple-choice exams can be achieved through random selection of correct choices rather than possessing knowledge of the answers. Nevertheless, I suppose that there are two important factors that mostly affect people's achievements. First and foremost, substantial effort is necessary to accomplish significant achievements. In fact, unless students strive for their academic pursuits, they will not achieve good results in the long run based solely on luckiness. Secondly, the attainment of goals requires a high level of determination. In other words, Individuals need to spend a large amount of time to enlarge their knowledge so that they will have a good qualification as well as necessary skills. As a result, they will have a decent job since they make an effort and dedication for a long time. In conclusion, the influence of luck on success cannot be dismissed. However, I contend that hard work and patience hold greater importance in the pursuit of goals. Whether or not a person achieves their aims in life is mostly related to luck. Đề bài:The growing number of overweight people is putting a strain on the health care system in an effort to deal with the health issues involved. Some people think that the best way to deal with this problem is to introduce more physical education lessons in the school curriculum. To what extent do you agree or disagree? In the modern age, it is true that the increasing prevalence of obesity is put pressure on the health care systems as they contend with associated health challenges.Several individuals advocate that adding physical education classes in school curricula as an effective solution to address this issue.in my opinion, I wholeheartedly agree with this viewpoint and my rationales will be explained in this essay. By incorporating more sports classes into the curriculum as well as encouraging extracurricular sports activities, they will undoubtedly become fitter, enthusiastic and more active.Firstly, physical education promote a healthy lifestyle from a young age by instilling habits of doing physical exercise regularly. The person who participating in outdoor activity early are more likely to continue these practices into adulthood, thus reducing the risk of obesity and other related health issues.Secondly,by providing insight knowledge with align practice , physical education not only a holistic health by Increasing muscle density, blood circulation and endurance but also enhancing brain function.Sciencetifically, this is explained because exercises help stimulate protein production in the body, which considered as a factor that stimulates the growth of nerve cells and enhances cognition. Admittedly, If physical education is not introduced in school curricula, there are various detrimental effects that would occur and seriously influence numerous aspects.First and foremost, many students will spend time for playing video game or explore virtual world instead of doing exercise, beyond encountered with asthenia, they can also easily suffer from eye diseases and psychological disorders such as nearsightedness and depression.Secondly, the health system will also face many complex problems such as lack of human resources and running out of medicine. The increase in patients means that the number of doctors and drugs must increase to care for patients, while facilities and skilled doctors in most countries cannot serve the demand. In conclusion, although teachers need a constant effort to make students can absorb knowledge and create the habit of playing sports, I totally believe that it will brings a long-term benefit for students Đề bài:The growing number of overweight people is putting a strain on the health care system in an effort to deal with the health issues involved. Some people believe that everyone has a right to have access to university education and that governments should make it free for all students no matter what financial background they have. To what extent do you agree or disagree. In today’s world, it is widely perceived that citizens should be given a chance to go to university freely instead of paying the tuition fees. Personally, I am wholeheartedly opposed to this position. There are numerous reasons why this argument should be opposed, one of which is the labor market competitiveness enhancement. To be more specific, if the free - college policy is being prompt, there will appear a majority of college qualifications. As a result, the acquisition of a tertiary degree would not be considered as a prominent factor supporting bachelor’s degree holder in landing higher - paid jobs. This would therefore lead to the increase of the competitiveness in the job market. Another justification is that waive tuition could impact negatively on the economy. In other words, since the enormous amount of money would be incurred to cover higher education tuition, this would in turn put a strain on government coffers, result in budget deficit, tax hikes, or reduced welfare among others. While some may contend that the provision of free - of - charge education would result in a rich variety of highly - educated workforce, from my perspective, this notion might be failed to outweigh the accompanying drawbacks and losses. As such, it may be preferable to maintain the status quo. Some people believe that everyone has a right to have access to university education and that governments should make it free for all students no matter what financial background they have. Em chào thầy cô, dưới đây là bài Writing Task 1 của em, em rất mong có thể được thầy cô chấm chữa ạ. Em cảm ơn thầy cô rất nhiều. Đề bài: The diagram shows the five main writing systems in the world Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features. Bài làm: The diagram illustrates the main characteristics of five different writing systems worldwide, listed as Logographic, Abjad, Abjuda, Alphabetic, and Syllabic. As per the presentation in the illustration, Logographic are writing systems that share the same alphabet but differentiate in pronunciations, typically known as Japanese and Chinese. In addition, Japan is also one of the countries using Syllabic writing, a method in which every character represents a syllable. On the other hand, Abjad, Abjuda, and Alphabetic systems are based on the sounds each word makes. Abjad is notably the first sound-based system in which every character indicates a consonant sound. Indian Devanagari uses the Abjuda system: the combination of a consonant and a vowel makes up an Abjuda character. Lastly, Alphabetic, including English, commonly known for its mismatch in pronunciation and spelling, has characters that are formed from one sound (vowel or consonant). Overall, close-range regions generally have similar word formation processes and most of them are based on sounds. Em cảm ơn thầy cô. Em chào thầy cô, dưới đây là bài Writing Task 2 của em, em rất mong có thể được thầy cô chấm chữa ạ. Em cảm ơn thầy cô rất nhiều. Đề bài: **The importance of biodiversity is being more widely recognized as increasing numbers of species come under threat. What can be done to maintain biodiversity?** Bài làm: As an increasing number of species are on the edge of extinction, biodiversity has become a concerning problem for human society. There are multiple possible causes including deforestation, strip mining, poaching, and so on. However, the solution to this problem remains a conundrum. Individuals do not have the resources and power to solve the problem, therefore, first of all, governments should encourage environmental policies throughout their countries. Consider that most of the time, the reason for sabotaging the environment is for financial advantages. The government could enforce financial charges on illegal environment-related activities such as poaching or clearcutting. In addition, to be able to handle the situation properly, the felony has to be detected on time and penalized fairly. Pollution from several sources listing as industry and consumer waste is another major reason that leads to the loss of habitats and biodiversity. A large quantity of industry waste is being released into nature without properly processing it every day. In regards to that, second of all, the government and organizations should cooperate to establish a stable waste treatment to reduce the unwanted effects of pollution on the floral and fauna habitats. Countries such as Japan and China are investing in waste processing technology and the effort has shown desirable results in their environment. On the other hand, developing and under-developed countries are having a hard time launching environmental laws and researching new technology because of capital shortages. Additionally, maintaining a sustainable economy also requires satisfaction with economic growth. To cope with these drawbacks, countries' leaders should work together for an ultimate generic solution. Preserving biodiversity is the responsibility of not only governments and organizations but also each individual. Although, the process might not be effective instantaneously, with the attempt to reduce the damage, animals, plants, humans and their next generations can benefit from a healthy and prosperous environment. Overall, city life was more prevalent in both categories in both years examined, with the proportion of citizens born outside this country being higher than that of their native counterparts. Regarding the native group, in 1995, half of these people resided in metropolises, higher than the town and rural populations, at 20% and 30%, respectively. After five years, this gap widened, as the share of inhabitants living in urban areas saw a nearly 20% growth, while the other two sectors fell remarkably to 15% each. Concerning expatriates, in 1995, city dwellers accounted for 60% of people in this cohort, compared to 80% in 2010. Meanwhile, one-tenth of occupants in towns were from other countries, more than half lower than the rate of those residing in rural areas. In 2010, however, both figures saw a sharp fall to about 10% and just under this level, in that order. Em chào thầy cô, dưới đây là bài Writing Task 1 của em, em rất mong có thể được thầy cô chấm chữa ạ. Em cảm ơn thầy cô rất nhiều. Đề bài: The flow chart illustrates the consequence of deforestation. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features. Write at least 150 words Bài làm: The flow chart illustrates the four common consequences of forest clearcutting. Trees are removed on a large scale results in four immediate effects which leads to floods, soil erosion, biodiversity reduction and droughts. One instantaneous effect of deforestation is compacted soil formed from heavy logging equipment on the top soil. The hard ,and "baked" soil restricts water drainage which accounted for flooding. Another immediate consequence of logging is the reduction in the quantity of floral species. With the reduction, plants release less moisture into the air which ultimately lead to the lack of precipitation and the increase incidence of drought. Simultaneously, eliminating the plants also responsible for the erosion of the top soil layer because fewer roots underground remained to hold the soil together. Finally, the chance of intentional ,and unintentional forests fire increases due to clearcutting. Fire hazard leaves the wood remaining as a source of nutrition for micro-organisms. These species, then, breaks the balance of natural biodiversity, courtesy of degrading the existing vegetation. Overall, it can be seen that over-cutting has a major influence on biodiversity , and the soil quality both long-term and short-term. Dạ em chào các cô , mong thầy cô giúp em chấm chữa bài ạ. In many countries today, if people want to find work, they have to move away from their families and friends. Do you think the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages?
In competitive job market today , people have to relocate from their hometown to find job opportunities. From my perspective , despite presenting several certain drawbacks , the advantages of this development are more significant. Moving away from families and loved ones make indivudual likely encounter mental health issues such as depression as geographical barrier prevents them from emotional connection. Some tend to not confide their trouble with their families , especially in cases of migrate workers , to just ease families’worries while their families and friends remain unaware.People have the feelings of isolation and homesickness , especially people who are introverts and always keep distance with their colleagues in new work environment.Consequently this have negative impact on their work performance and productivity , presenting negative sides of this trend. On the other hand , firstly , relocating to unfamiliar places helps people step out of their comfort zone. This foster independence , resilience and self-reliance , standing on their own whenever facing difficulties as they no longer have their parents and loved ones nearby for support. They also acquire self-sufficiency skills such as cooking or laundry to complete household responsibilities and meet their basic needs. Secondly , relocating for jobs help individuals achieve career fulfillment Moving to economic hubs and metropolitan areas open up opportunities for career advancement and professional growth that are often not available in one’s hometown. .Major companies and business offer higher salaries and better benefits.Employees not only have chance to experience professional settings but also gain well-paying jobs. In conclusion , while relocating for employment have negative impacts on metal health , I firmly believe that this trend brings more beneficial aspects to individuals about career fulfillment and personal growth. TASK. People living in the 21st century have a better quality of life than the previous centuries. To what extent do you agree or disagree. Thanks to technological developments, humans living in the 21st century have a more enhanced quality of life than older generations. I strongly agree with this opinion, as I think the advancements in science and technology have significant impacts on our way of living. First of all, the rising numbers of medical innovations in facilities and disease treatment methods enhanced quality of life is unprecedented progress and individuals can accessible to more populations than the prior centuries. Modern medical innovations have not only increased life expectancy but also improved the quality of life through effective treatments and preventive care. For example, advancements in medical imaging and minimally invasive surgery have made complex procedures safer and more accessible, drastically reducing recovery times and improving outcomes. Another justification for improving individuals' quality of life is that digital technology makes networking, commerce, and entertainment more convenient and rich. The internet and smartphones have democratized access to information, connecting people across the globe and empowering them with knowledge and resources. Furthermore, the use of mobile banking services has made money transactions among individuals less time-consuming and more managed, since consumers can now access a variety of leisure alternatives at any time and from any location. For example, instead of going to cinemas to watch films, now people can surf the web to opt for millions of films just through several clicks with less expenses. To conclude, the 21st century offers a superior quality of life, primarily thanks to groundbreaking advancements in healthcare and the transformative impact of digital technology. These developments have not only prolonged our lives but have also enriched our daily experiences making our modern life more convenient, connected, and comfortable than ever before. TASK. Em chào thầy cô, dưới đây là bài Writing Task 2 của em, em rất mong có thể được thầy cô chấm chữa ạ. Em cảm ơn thầy cô rất nhiều. Đề bài: Many people believe that formal "pen and paper" examinations are not the best method of assessing educational achievement. What is your view of examinations? Bài làm: Some argues that paper tests are not the ideal measurement of academic results. Admittedly, paper tests may have certain limitations. However, in my opinion, there are no better solution available. First of all, paper examinations reduces the risk of unjustified achievements by ensuring all candidates are evaluated based on the same set of criteria. This eliminates the possibility of favoritism that may arise in other testing methods such as online tests, interviews or practical challenges. They can also be kept as record for further investigation if required. World-wide certificates such as IELTS need to be delivered to multiple countries and there is no better method than printed exams. Second of all, printed tests are efficient and cost-effective. Alternative test can take a long time and a certain amount of money to prepare and conduct. This not only increase the cost of participation fee but the organization fund can also suffer. Small scale competition can be hosted easily, however, others such as the national university entrance exam is impossible to be taken place with such measures. On the other hand, online tests which are affordable and time-saving are becoming a trend at the time. With the increasing availability of technology, online testing platforms offer a convenient experience for students, especially those who live in remoted areas. Despite of its advantages, the test has no guarantees of the monitor needed, therefore, candidates might commit exam counterfeits leading to unfair results. There are opinions which assume paper tests are solely theoretical information rather than practical knowledge. Although it might be true to some extent, until there are a better solution monetarily and timely, paper examinations will remain the best option. The pie chart shows the percentage of Australian workers from three areas in 2003, while the line graph illustrates the unemployment rate of those three groups in this country from 1993 to 2003. Overall, native Australians accounted for the majority of the workforce.
