It is believed that individuals who engage in reading books can cultivate greater imagination and linguistic abilities than those who prefer television. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Linguistic abilities and imagination are believed to be achieved far more via reading books than televisions. I completely hold the approval of this belief. First and foremost, creation including linguistic abilities and imagination is mainly formed during brain functioning. This separates the mentioned sphere into two parts: via books and electronic devices such as televisions. Books which are full of words are usually misunderstood as dull, but while reading and diving in words you may find heaven. Meanwhile your brain is trying to interpret diagrams, a small part of it starts to analyze data and comes up with imagined pictures. Reading and imaging at the same time helps the brain to connect words with images that are specifically created yourself, resulting in blowing up your creation. In contrast, although watching the film which is remade from a novel, watchers still don’t gain the same. The core reason is believed that televisions are deemed as ready-made image providers. The brain while watching television only receives provided images, which directly restricts the desire to create own experience and thinking. Recent researches also point out that kids whose brain are familiar with the provided image, refuse to read and imagine themselves as they believe it is redundant. This totally leads to the unreversed consequences that lazy brained is created, and less and less linguistic abilities and imagination can be cultivated. In summary, books and televisions are generated to offer users with different purposes. However, the merits from engagement in reading books are far more than its counterpart: watching televisions, especially in developing linguistic abilities and imagination. Linguistic abilities and imagination are believed to be achieved far more via reading books than televisions. I completely hold the approval of this belief. Mong cô chấm cho em với: Some people believe that people today have no interest in maintaining the traditional culture of their country or region. Other believe that it is still important to people that we preserve a traditional way of life . Discuss both views and give your own opinion. Give reasons for your answers and include relevant examples.
BÀI LÀM In the fast-paced world, it is increasingly prevalent for individuals to hold the view that modern people are not willing to retain their country or region’s conventional culture. By contrast, many opponents believe that conserving the traditional lifestyle is vital to people. I strongly agree with the first opinion; however, positive changes and renovations in terms of culture are a primary factor for a utopian future and globalization in the digital age. In this essay, I will discuss both two perspectives, and give reasons and examples to support the arguments. Some individuals are of the statement that people feel maintaining the quintessential culture regarding traditional customs, clothes, cuisine, and so on is our necessary responsibility. One significant reason behind this is that keeping our unique rituals, fashion, styles of living and cooking will build our country’s cultural differences, making them become distinctive from the others. Therefore, it brings a feeling of pride, fulfillment, and pleasure to the native residents. Another advantage of cultural conservation is that tourism appeals are boosted, which brings a certain source of income to local people so that the rate of unemployment will somehow decrease. Hence, the national economy will be improved, stimulating the development of our country. Having said that, people today, particularly the young generation show no eagerness in preserving their domestic cultural norms and beliefs. There are several factors that cause the behavior of neglecting ordinary folklore of people nowadays. One significant rationale is social media such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, on which many people are free to post everything related to their lives. Thanks to the Internet’s evolution, the young generation can obtain new things that belong to every aspect of life more easily. For example, some occupations that refer to social media such as tiktokers, vloggers, or celebrities have a great influence on people’s mindsets, especially the youth. For further explanation, a specific celebrity’s sense of fashion or lifestyle may act as a stereotype to be imitated by her fans all over the world. In other case, foreign and local vloggers or influencers may advertise some particular products, as a result, those buyers are significantly inspired and affected by brand-new stuff. Furthermore, the virtual world creates acculturation, in where worldwide people have a chance to discuss and exchange their opinions. This is an opportunity that helps individuals integrate into the new culture quickly, which brings about the alteration of languages as well as social manners of young adults. Another potent cause is immigration. Many immigrants tend to learn and acquire the cultural characteristics of the country in which they live to adapt to their new civilization. The constant exposure to a state-of-the-art culture makes it simple to comprehend why they are reluctant to their origin. I personally believe that updating ourselves to keep up to date with the fast-paced world is not a negative case as long as we are able to filter the fantastic and beneficial sources of cultural patterns to obtain. Looking at it from another point of view, we should also maintain and respect our country’s beliefs and norms, omit the things so-called old-fashioned and awful. In conclusion, both views have their reasons behind them. I personally suppose that it is necessary for people to continually learn about the new culture providing that they have to select the information carefully and avoid taking bad patterns as a model Acculturation triggers the rapid growth of globalization. Therefore we should preserve our precious norms and folklore combined with acquiring wonderful things from other cultures. BÀI LÀM In the fast-paced world, it is increasingly prevalent for individuals to hold the view that modern people are not willing to retain their country or region’s conventional culture. Many developing countries are currently expanding their tourist industries. Why is this the case? Is it a positive or negative development?
Since people's recognition relating to self-treatment raised, tourism industries seem to be flourished, which mainly explains the promotion of this sphere in many countries nowaday. This status has both sides due to its various effects. As heavy as the workload is, people begin to give themselves special treatments, many of which are days off and holidays. This directly leads to the demand for updating and expanding tourism industries. Parallelly, this phenomenon generates chances for the host countries to grow. Firstly, job opportunities rise due to the need for pleasing travelholics. More flight attendants or waiters and waitresses are recruited is a visible example. The action of promoting tourism also helps the exchange rate to be floating, creates a circulation for money to be in and out, which is especially helpful for developing countries. Lastly, thanks to tourism, individuals who have traveled may have the chance to change the landscape, refresh their mind and get ready for the upcoming fluctuations of life. However, in an opposite aspect, increasing tourism causes pollution. Transportation pollutes the air, noise from hustle and bustle places leads to noise pollution, alleviation of greens and expansion of constructing hotels or resorts, for example, might account for accidents. Moreover, the spreading disease should be aware, as in 2019, the Sars Covid led to long-term pandemics, which slowed down the economic rate. In conclusion, although developing countries encourages tourism to expand is mainly to meet the need of economic growth, the government should rise concern about its pros and cons, especially avoid causing pollutions. Since people's recognition relating to self-treatment raised, tourism industries seem to be flourished, which mainly explains the promotion of this sphere in many countries nowaday. writing 1 - The map below is of the town of Garlsdon. A new supermarket (S) is planned for the town. The map shows two possible sites for the supermarket. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The map outlined above shows two proposed sites that are planning to erect a new supermarket for Garlsdon town with a population of 65,000 people. The first potential site (S1) is planned to be constructed in the vicinity of Garlsdon town, and is located 12 km to the north-west Hindon between the railway and the main roads. As the advantage of direction, alongside with the broad position could be reserved for the parking lot, it (S1) would be possibly accessible for citizens traveling from Garlsdon both by train and car. On the other hand, the second suggested site (S2) is chosen to be built in the middle of the Garlsdon town centre which could be beneficial for local residents traveling on walk. Theoretically lying near the railway as well as containing 2 main roads makes it could be easily accessible to the other towns: 16 km to the north-west heading to Bransdon and 25 km to the south-east to Cransdon. Nevertheless, as the proposed location lied in the centre area, cars would be uncapable to park and the approach could be difficult. Overall, neither site is potential for all towns, but for customers in Garlsdon, Bransdon, and Cransdon, the centre-town site (S2) would probably offer more advantages. Thầy cô chaams giúp em với ạ: Many employees can now do their work from home using modern technology. However, this change may only benefit workers, not the employers. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Thanks to the 4.0 landscape, especially the advent of the sphere of Science and Technology, the world has witnessed a significant change in how to function work, which means working is now possible to do from home. This utilization, however, causes a concern whether who are beneficial from it, the employers included or the employees themselves. This essay will shed light on the reasons for being in strong disagreement with the saying. Distance functioning is a new, convenient and applicable solution. Firstly, it, merely means changing the place of doing workload, can bring convenience to workers as it doesn't require any time and fee to transport. Hence, time consumption and the burden of transport fee is believed to be incredibly saved. For example, it usually takes a worker who live faraway from the office 1 hour to come up, meanwhile the work-from-home ones spends only 30 seconds to turn on the device. Visibly, the more time is saved the more workload is solved. Moreover, little do working from home affect the status of the company. Despite the lack of face-to-face interaction, co-workers are still able to communicate through the internet and social platforms. Therefore, the function of accomplishing tasks is still successfully achieved. Overseas companies, Facebook for instance, has been deriving success from utilization collaboration of different nationalities as long as they are good enough for decades. In conclusion, not only merits from working from home are obviously to employees but it also does wonders on the employers such as saving time and fees, or improving the quality of task achievement. Question: When a new town is planned, it is more important to develop public parks and sports facilities than shopping centers for people to spend their free time in. To what extent do you agree or disagree? In this day and age, the question of whether the officials should invest more money on public parks and sport facilities or they should allocate much more on shopping centers has sparked the ongoing debate. While I acknowledge that parks and sport facilities have many merits in terms of enhancing people's well-being and providing space for gathering, I hold the view that the planners should also pay attention to building commercial centers as these can bring benefits for both residents and the town. On the one hand, public parks and sports facilities play an important role in fostering citizens’ well-being and being a place for them to get together. Firstly, these infrastructures provide people a place to do physical activities and leisures, promoting a healthier lifestyle and preventing many problems relating to the heart or brain. This is because they do not need to go to the gym or sport centers, contributing to reducing the level of having some health issues and saving a lot of their money. Next, these places become an essential part for people to get together and have some conversations, fostering the sense of community. For example, the local authority can organize events in which people can do social activities, it not only promotes a sense of belonging to a society but also contributes to mitigate the level of stress or pressures. On the other hand, distributing money on establishing shopping centers also shows advantages for both citizens and the town. To begin with, commercial centers have many benefits owing to their various purposes. These offer people a wide range of services ranging from shopping to entertainment, catering individuals based on their preferences, making a contribution to develop their living standards. Another advantage is these centers can attract more tourists and create more employment opportunities. When these centers receive a lot of money from the officials, it can help attract more potential customers and tourists, contributing to developing the local economy. As a result, a lot of people can seek employment opportunities and reduce the unemployment rate, ensuring the long-term and sustainable development for the town. In conclusion, while public parks and sport facilities can promote citizens’ health and foster a sense of community, I believe that there is a need to strike a balance to invest in shopping centers owing to its advantages based on boosting people’s living standard and economy.
