For all the time, music was the most concern for the government’s fund, which was always at the first place. Next, visual arts and theater were deemed to have switched positions. The former was at the second position in 1995 and the third in 2005, the opposite was true for the latter. Accounting for the smallest proportion was literature, however, in 2005, the government doubled the spending on it compared to its receipt in 1995.
In contrast, literature seemed to attract viewers most, notably higher than others, at approximately 120000 in 1995 and it increased sharply and ended at nearly 160000 in the following ten years. That figure was followed by people who went to the theater, with the amount in both 2 years located in the 70000 to 90000 range. It was projected that people nowadays have much more leisure time compared to people in the past. Although technology has some positive impacts on human's lives, from my perspective, I disagree with this statement.
On the one hand, technological advances bring many benefits to our lives. First of all, in some industries, tasks are completed quickly and effectively by automated machines in lieu of human beings. For example, in logistics management, robots are replaced for workers to classify and arrange goods in the warehouse, which optimize time and productivity for the warehouse operation. Secondly, the rise of internet and digital communication tools have enabled us to work anywhere, resulting in reducing the amount of time for commuting to and from an office. Additionally, the most breakthrough technological creation these days is AI, which is Artificial Technology, contributing to the development of many realms. For instance, Elsa is an English application which helps thousands of users all over the world to master their English pronunciation skill in a short time developed with AI.
On the other hand, technological development leads to an increase in demand for our time. First and foremost, the availability of Internet connection and digital devices means that individuals are always ready to work regardless of locations and time zones. In fact, a lot of employees are required to do their jobs outside of their working hours, which has detrimental effects on their leisure time. In addition, AI and robots have replaced humans in some manual jobs, which leads to intense competition in the labor market. As a result, people have to spend more time to gain new knowledge and enhance necessary skills to adopt to the market.
In conclusion, while technology has increased greater efficiency and productivity in many aspects of lives, I do not suppose that people in the modern day have more free time than in the past.

By virtue of globalization, Asian restaurants together with European recipes appear extensively in numerous countries. Furthermore, local music has become widely well-known, attracting more viewers and audiences, which contributes to enriching and universalizing cultural identities. As a consequence, the inhabitants have a chance to discover and relish different cuisines and genres of music. For instance, if there was no globalization, individuals would not imagine how appetizing Pho is. Also, we are unable to enjoy many types of music such as rap, R&B, or classical music. For several above reasons, I strongly believe that not only does globalization make cultural identity become vivid and vibrant, but it also portrays and popularizes our distinctive cultures to the world.
In conclusion, I do not feel that globalization results in the total loss of cultural identity. Furthermore, it fosters the development of cultural identity, making special cultures become prevalent among a large number of global countries. For example, if celebrities endorsed a skin-care product, there would be an increase in the belief about its quality. Thus, a large number of prospect customers would purchase it, which leads to a rise in sales. Secondly, in terms of culture and society, youth is often associated with beauty which is an important part related to the job sector. In fact, appearance plays a vital role in some certain jobs such as models, actors, singers, and so on; therefore maintaining youthful appearance is one of the conditions to stick firmly with these careers.
It is true that there are both advantages and disadvantages behind this trend. The pursuit of a youthful appearance motivates individuals to adopt a healthier lifestyle. However, the computers are still a machinery that cannot imitate and do exactly what a teacher can. Researches concur that face-to-face classes often have more successful results as not only the teachers' role is teaching but also is sharing and inspiring their students. In other words, teachers and professors who have pedagogical skills are able to lend learners sympathy and encouragement besides of imparting tradition knowledges lessons. Moreover, computers are just a utilization which the tutors can make use of to enhance the quality of teaching at school. Since student-centred education have been the major focus for years, making interacting and attrative lessons with computers' advent both can cultivate its strength and maintain the essential role of teachers.

Moreover, besides imitating celebrities' practices, they must have to be popular for a reason, such as being talented at a specific field. This might be beneficial for imitators through stimulation the act of coming out of one's comfort zone to act like role models. Additionally, knowledge acquisition and moral thinking have the opportunity to be enhanced by following famous people's right mindset.

Recently, there has been a large number of students who put a strain on studying diligently and they do not have much spare time in several countries around the world. There are two primary reasons leading to this situation. In this essay, I will mention, and explain carefully the causes, and give examples for my arguments. Furthermore, the solutions for this problem will be suggested according to my knowledge and experience.
In my opinion, the youth today have to cope with a great deal of pressure to learn and they are always busy. There are two principal factors causing this. First and foremost, parents force their children to study hard in order to succeed in their career path. It is apparent that nowadays parents constantly remind their offspring to spend long hours doing homework and studying many things. In addition, some parents even hire a tutor who instructs a child to learn any potent subjects at school, or specific gifted skills such as swimming, playing musical instruments, or martial arts. Take my country by way of example, it is normal that pupils and teenagers spend from three to four hours doing homework, going to extra classes or preparing for their new lessons after finishing a long day at school. This means the students in my country come back home in the late evening and start their school early the next morning. Consequently, they do not have much time for themselves. Another reason behind this is the fierce competition among their fellows in lieu of studying environments. It has become increasingly prevalent for learners to compete aggressively to grab the opportunity of studying in public schools or universities that have a reputation. A higher demand to register in those well-known educational organizations means the student’s academic performance and skills are filtered carefully. Only those who have impressive achievements are selected. As a result, peer pressure arises, which acts as a main drive for students to put great effort into learning in order to conquer their dream schools. Therefore, most of their time is spent on their studies. For a personal example, when I was a student in high school, I used to learn constantly for five hours after school to prepare for the entrance exam, which would decide whether I was chosen to study at my dream university or not. My classmates were in the same situation as mine due to severe rivalry.
There are some solutions suggested to deal with this issue. Firstly, parents should be aware of the outcomes which result from pressurizing their offspring in terms of their studies. Children may get upset, and even depressed. Instead of pushing their children to study hard for a better future, it is necessary for parents to become perceptive people whom children can confide in. Parents can guide children to balance studying and playing in a smart way, develop their soft skills, and prioritize their favorite subjects rather than trying to become well-rounded and perfect students in a traumatic way. As a consequence, children will feel more cheerful, and avoid unhappiness owing to study overload.
In conclusion, young people have to study hard because of their parents’ expectations and competition. It is vital for parents to take action immediately to protect their children from depression. They should encourage their offspring to learn what they are fond of instead of putting them under pressure.
