Đề bài: The chart below illustrates the proportion of total sales made by a drug company in different regions from 2002 to 2006. Provide an overview of the information by identifying and describing the key details, and include comparisons where appropriate. Bài làm: The bar chart gives information about the allocation of total sales made by a drug company in various areas in 5 years, from 2002 to 2006. Overall, the percentage of the company’s sales in Asia witnessed a significant increase through the period whereas other regions remained unchanged, even decreased. In 2002, the total sales percentage in America nearly doubled that figure in Asia and was higher than Europe, about 7 percent. In the next year, while Asia climbed to 30 percent and Europe escalated by 1 percent higher, the USA market’s sales experienced a noticeable decline to 35 percent of the whole market. Even in 2004, the sales in the US fell deeper to 27 percent in contrast to 38 percent and 35 percent in Europe and Asia, respectively. One year later, the total revenue in Asia saw a continuous lift to 37 percent, the US market came back to climb to 29 percent, whereas Europe slightly decreased 4 percent. At the end of the period, both the US and Europe accounted for 30 percent, and the Asia market marked the highest proportion, 40 percent in total sales. The line chart given illustrates fuel generation levels of three different categories of power in use in the UK over the course of 19 years, commencing from 1981. Overall, although wild fluctuations were seen in the figures for all three types of fuel examined, general trends could still be discerned / recognized: petroleum and natural gas output showed an uptrend in yields, whereas the opposite was seen in coal production. Another key feature is that petroleum volumes registered the highest levels of production throughout the period. At the beginning of the period, around 90 million tonnes of petroleum was generated for consumption in the UK. This figure then rose quite significantly to 140 million tonnes in 1984–a record high in levels–before remaining unchanged at this level in the next three years. Petroleum production subsequently dropped to the neighborhood of 100 million tonnes in 1990, followed by a progressive upswing to its initial level of 140 million tonnes at the end. Similarly, an upward progression was seen in the volume of natural gas produced in the UK, albeit with fewer up-and-down patterns. Specifically, after / following a 10-year phase of stability at 40 million tonnes, data then showed an upthrust to slightly above 100 million tonnes in 2000. Unlike petroleum and natural gas, coal exhibited an overall downward trend in terms of output, halving from an initial level of 80 million tonnes to shy of 40 million in 1984, prior to an insignificant recovery to 60 million in 1986, only to end up undergoing a steady slump to about 30 million at the end, thus becoming the least manufactured fuel in the UK. The line chart given illustrates fuel generation levels of three different categories of power in use in the UK over the course of 19 years, commencing from 1981. write a cause and effect essay in response to the followings: " How important is it for countries to fund research into disease?"
In today's world, the significance of funding research into disease cannot be overstated. As global health challenges continue to emerge. They directly influence public health, economic stability, and societal well-being. This essay will explore the critical reasons why countries should prioritize financial support for disease research and the effects of such investments on their populations. Firstly, funding disease research is paramount for advancing medical knowledge and developing innovative treatments. Research institutions and universities rely on financial resources to conduct clinical trials and laboratory studies that lead to breakthroughs in understanding diseases. For instance, investments in research have resulted in the development of vaccines for diseases like polio and more recently, COVID-19. These advancements not only save countless lives but also enhance the quality of life for survivors. Consequently, when countries allocate substantial funds to disease research, they pave the way for scientific progress that can eradicate or mitigate the impact of various health issues. Another crucial aspect to consider is the role of research funding in addressing health disparities. In many regions, access to healthcare and disease management options is limited. By prioritizing research, countries can develop targeted strategies that cater to vulnerable populations disproportionately affected by specific diseases. This not only promotes equity in healthcare but also ensures that advancements in medical science benefit all segments of society. For instance, research focused on tropical diseases prevalent in low-income countries can lead to the development of tailored treatments that improve health outcomes in these communities. In conclusion, the importance of funding research into disease cannot be neglected. It is essential for advancing medical knowledge, enhancing economic stability, and addressing health disparities. In today's world, the significance of funding research into disease cannot be overstated. As global health challenges continue to emerge. They directly influence public health, economic stability, and... Xem thêm

Many people go to university for academic study. More people should be encouraged to do vocational training because there is a lack of qualified workers, such as electricians and plumbers. To what extent do you agree or disagree? It is true that many young people want to pursue academic goals rather than follow vocational training. While anyone can deny the importance of a university certificate, I totally agree that we should encourage young individuals to participate in qualified work like plumbers and engineers or other essentials. On the one hand, following university is a vital way to reach goals in the future. Firstly, university will provide young people with a large amount of basic knowledge that will be applied when they join the work market. For example, marketing is a broad subject that requires people to dive into different perspectives of a subject. When they choose to study certain subjects at any college, they will make sure to convey enough skills and knowledge for students. Secondly, the university environment is an essential foundation to expand more quality relationships that can help them in the far future, moreover, these relationships will also create unforgotten moments at university, the time that students do not care about earning money and just concentrate on studying. On the other hand, more people are encouraged to attend vocational training. The first reason is that quality workers play a crucial role in building or existence building need to be renovated or simply maintain. Secondly, in some developed countries, there is an existing imbalance in the economy, resulting in graduate unemployment, while at the same time, there is a large shortage of skilled labour. Therefore, the government focuses on developing vocational training to attract more human resources. Additionally, parents also help students orientate to choose vocational training and explain the good employment prospects and the importance of skilled labour. In conclusion, I agree that it is vital that we encourage more people to do vocational training because without such skilled workers, society cannot function effectively. Some people believe that children should be taught to be competitive in school. Others believe that teamwork and cooperation should be encouraged. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion
In this day and age, there is an ongoing debate about whether schools should teach children to be competitive or encourage teamwork and cooperation. This essay will discuss both viewpoints and I believe that incorporating both competition and cooperation is most beneficial. On the one hand, cultivating competitiveness is believed that it motivates children to excel. Competition encourages them to put in more effort, leading to improved academic performance. Additionally, with the advent of competitive job markets nowadays, being competitive can prepare to their future careers that individuals are able to cope well with. For instance, students who are compete for the top grades in school that they have to strike to achieve their goals, having better academic results than others. On the other hand, encouraging teamwork and cooperation is viewed as equally vital. Collaboration fosters teamwork skills, which is crucial in modern society. That is to say, cooperation plays an important role in the workspace, where everybody has to work with their colleagues, thus giving them a sense of community and mutual support. To illustrate, shool assign students with group projects where they are able to collaborate with others, allowing them to gain knowledge from different people and develop their communication skills or even conflict resolution, which are indispensable in their daily lives. In my opinion, the educational approach that integrating both competitiveness and teamwork are advantageous. It is essential that schools aim to provide students with a well-rounded skill set, which can be gained from learning how to work independently and team up with others effectively. If people strike a balance between competitiveness and cooperation, healthy competition and effective cooperation would be given, making sure that they do not jeopardize everything and the people around them. For example, activities like team sports, where groups compete against each other, exemplify how both elements can coexist and contribute to personal and social development. In conclusion, both competitiveness and cooperation offer significant benefits in a child's education with the drive to succeed individually and the ability to collaborate with others. Such an approach will better prepare them for the complexities of the modern world. In this day and age, there is an ongoing debate about whether schools should teach children to be competitive or encourage teamwork and cooperation. The government should encourage everyone to eat more fruit because fruit contains vitamin C, which is good for health. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Opinions are divided on whether governmental bodies should persuade all people to increase the consumption of fruit because it contains Vitamin C, which is beneficial for health. I believe that it depends on the type of people. Admittedly, there are several types of people who should not be governmentally encouraged to eat more fruit. One group is those who are allergic to Vitamin C if consuming slightly more fruit. Their bodies can suffer from bumpy skin or itches as allergic reactions, which potentially makes these people feel uncomfortable. Meanwhile, by encouraging these individuals to consume more other types of foods, such as meat or fish, they would enjoy a healthier balance. Concerning financially distressed people, their living conditions would be worsened if they were persuaded to allocate an extra portion of their budgets for fruit, as they generally find it immensely difficult to cover their basic needs like paying for housing, bills, and education for their children. However, it is beneficial for the government to induce most other people to consume more fruit. One reason is that consuming a proper amount of Vitamin C can boost the immune system, making a substantial contribution to a drastic decline in the risk of contracting contagious diseases. This ultimately allows these people to enjoy a mentally and physically happy life. Beyond that, this type of Vitamin serves as a facilitator of cognitive development, especially for children. If authorities encouraged learners to consume more fruit, their academic results would improve. In other words, their higher qualifications will probably enable them to seek financially rewarding jobs in the future. In conclusion, while people who have an allergy to Vitamin C or are financially disadvantaged should not be encouraged to eat more fruit, I believe that governments need to promote the majority of people to increase their consumption of fruit, as Vitamin C in fruit is beneficial. The government should encourage everyone to eat more fruit because fruit contains vitamin C, which is good for health. To what extent do you agree or disagree? The diagram below shows the process of making cheese. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. The pictorial diagram illustrates a detailed look at the procedure of cheese production. Overall, the manmade process encompasses nine sequential stages, commencing with draining whey curds and culminating with the usable products. Initially, whey curds are drained to separate whey liquid from curds, which are, subsequently, converted into powder by being milled. Following this, the flour is transported to a conveyor, and salt is sprinkled on it. During this phase, part of the mixture is collected to make fresh cheese while the remaining seasoned substances are initially shaped by being poured into molds. The molded powder is pressed while releasing additional whey liquid. Once this stage is complete, the pressed dough is transported to a special shelf where it is cooked for a specific period of time. Ultimately, fully ripened cheese which appears round is readily available for consumption. The diagram below shows the process of making cheese. Many people argue that the government should fund the apprenticeship works and training without getting an bachelor degree in certain major. From my perspective, I would go against such a view and will analyze it in detail in the following essay. On the one hand, increasing funds in skill development will be a positive changes in less developed regions. The people from these areas often faced financial hardship. These people can join the workforce as early as possible. Firstly, job training is an ideal solution because it equips instant practical skills such as plumbing or electrical work. Moreover it is known for faster employment. Secondly, these courses are shorter and less expensive than studying in the campus. It is more approachable for those who had limited financial resources. Lastly, allocating a budget to skill development programs lessen the citizen's burden that migrating to urban areas to find a better career. On the other hand, urban areas will benefits more from developing a university education. Many university area having a higher concentration of university students. By giving public funding for these programs will offer a better learning opportunities. Training schemes area cultivating more talented individuals, skilled workforce and increased productivity at a national level. Existing urban infrastructure are more sensible supporting new universities. Those courses will have research facilities, libraries, and technology centers, This can be leveraged to supplement training schemes. These universities can drive technological progress, attracts private investment, and stimulating the local economy. In conclusion, for the reasons I have mentioned above, I completely agree with the belief that getting a university curriculum outweigh the benefits of getting a job with an average income. In conclusion, for the reasons I have mentioned above, I completely disagree with the belief that getting skills development rather than studying at university. Chasing for an instant job with low income is beneficial idea. However, studying in a university will ensure a stable foundation for future profession. The table illustrates the number of oil barrels produced per day across 4 countries from 2000 to 2004. Overall, it is noticeable that while daily oil production in Nigeria and Congo underwent irregular oscillation, the amount of this resource in Somalia experienced a steady growth during the surveyed timeframe. Remarkably, Chad commenced producing and trading oil in 2003, constituting a clear distinction from the remaining nations, whose oil industry had been present since the first recorded year. The product’s amount of oil exploitation in Congo took the lead among other countries in the time period, with 275,000 barrels per day, but plummeted consistently to the number of 203,000 in 2004. Additionally, before that number of Nigeria peaked at 213,000 in the final year, there had been a moderate fall throughout the first 3-year period from 205,000 to 201,000. Somalia, in addition, impressively exhibited a significant increase from only 5,000 oil containers produced in 2000 to 50,000 in 2004, constituting a ten-fold surge. Finally, although having initiated producing oil in 2003, Chad witnessed a dramatic soar in the oil barrels output in the adjacent year, from 8,000 to 50,000.
