Healthy dietary options and regular exercise are believed to be no longer necessary for a healthy and long life. While this perspective may be sound due to technology, this essay will argue that the necessity of well-balanced eating habits and frequent physical activities has remained stable. Admittedly, those underestimating the importance of a well-balanced diet and regular exercise often point to technological advancements. Indubitably, the introduction of specialized medical apparatuses, which can remove excess and toxic substances from the body, has instilled in individuals a belief that maintaining a healthy weight and enjoying a long lifespan are possible with medical intervention. This is particularly successful in America, where the widespread implementation of this support has led to an increase in the communal health index and prolonged lifespan, irrespective of eating behaviors and exercise. However, the value of a nutritious eating pattern and regular exercise is still essential. Since treatment costs are generally exorbitant, financial capacity to afford medical services is a significant obstacle for the vast majority of people, especially with financially disadvantaged individuals. If there is excessive neglect of a healthy diet and physical activity, many people may be more highly susceptible to a wide range of medical conditions, such as obesity or even premature death. Moreover, despite the development of technology, engaging in regular exercise and consuming healthy food are scientifically considered the most efficacious methods to maintain a healthy condition and substantially contribute to a prolonged life. In conclusion, although technological development can make a substantial contribution to enhancing a healthy and long life, it cannot replace the role of a healthy dietary practice and regular exercise. Directors of large organizations earn much higher salaries than ordinary employees do. Some people believe it is necessary, but others think that it is unfair. Discuss both these views and give your own opinions. Opinions are divided on whether significantly higher salaries should be offered to directors of large establishments rather than ordinary employees. This essay will argue that it is fair and necessary to offer individuals in key positions a significant income gap. Admittedly, opponents of offering far higher salaries for leading managers often point to the involvement in an identical amount of time at work. Indubitably, employees, whether being in senior positions or in junior roles, are generally required to work from 8 to 17, explicitly indicating that the equal level of commitment should lead to a comparable compensation. Moreover, in certain cases, subordinates have to engage in tasks beyond their job scopes without receiving additional payment. This unfairness can potentially weaken the relationship between managers and juniors. However, awarding notably higher incomes to leading positions can be more beneficial. Doubtless, although directors and their junior workers have to spend an equal amount of time at work, the tasks for the former are generally at a substantially higher level of complexity and pressure. Senior managers are typically responsible for generating business strategies, maintaining continued success of governing bodies. To keep the company pushing forward, they are frequently forced to compromise their quality time such as weekend holidays to strictly engage in professional commitments. Their contributions should be financially rewarded. If there is a negligible income difference, individuals in managerial positions will presumably be demotivated, potentially stagnating the overall performance of the whole company. In conclusion, despite several criticisms from those opposing significant salary disparities between job titles due to the same amount of working time, I am of the opinion that directors deserve to receive such incomes because they are a solid foundation for the long-term viability of large organizations. Directors of large organizations earn much higher salaries than ordinary employees do. Some people believe it is necessary, but others think that it is unfair. Some people say that young people learn useful skills by playing electronic and computer games. Others say that young people who play electronic and computer games are wasting their time. Discuss both views and give you opinion
As technological advancements reshape a modern lifestyle, the emergence of digital games has become a focal point of discussion. Opinions are divided on this topic, with some asserting that participating in eSports is a good way to enhance different skills, while others maintain that this activity is time-consuming. In my perspective, I believe that this trend helps develop both hardware and software skills but also leads to addiction, limits physical activity, and behaves negatively. First of all, people cannot deny that virtual games could develop problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making. This is because these games always bring the players into different situations, which require players’ abilities to solve the problems. For example, some games, such as Minecraft, facilitate participants’ innovation and reflexes by allowing them to create their own world and join battles. Additionally, computer games could enhance hand-eye coordination through finger practice games or spatial awareness through 3-D games. The online gaming community also enhances teamwork, communication, and expands social networks. Moving on to the negative effects, spending too much time on digital games could limit physical activity and social interactions, leading to social isolation and health issues. Researchers indicate that most game addicts spend about 20–40 hours a week playing games, resulting in eye or back problems and a lack of time for families and other relationships. Excessive gaming could lead to addiction, causing individuals to neglect other responsibilities and activities. Furthermore, the content of some games may promote violence, aggression, or negative behaviors, which could contribute to social problems. In conclusion, although playing virtual games could drive personal development, this could be a harmful activity if people cannot control the time spent on it. Ultimately, it is through acknowledging and addressing the challenges present by electronic games that we can pave the way for positive change and a brighter future for the gaming community. As technological advancements reshape a modern lifestyle, the emergence of digital games has become a focal point of discussion. Many students find it difficult to concentrate or pay attention at school. What are the reasons? What could be done to solve this problem? These days, there are a significant number of students facing difficulties in maintaining focus and persistence. This phenomenon will bring about many consequences for students. In this essay, I will propose several solutions to remedy it. The problems of short attention spans among students. One of these is excessive emphasis on academic activities, which leads to times when students are relaxed very little. Consequently, physical subjects are not allocated a balance between professional ones, making it more difficult for students to focus on their school studies. Additionally, the advancement of technology devices is the most worrying factor that students encounter. Due to the lack of strict rules in most schools, students still use mobile phones in the classrooms, sometimes they utilize them to chit their exams and send messages to other people in classes, which may have a profound impact on their studying method. To enhance students’s attention at school, it is imperative for schools to take proactive measures. First, it is crucial to allocate time to physical exercise for students such as volleyball and badminton in the midterm lesson. In the long run, students not only improve their physical health but also enhance the quality of studying. Furthermore, it is necessary to impose an absolute prohibition on the use of mobile phones at schools. Although several students still surreptitiously use smartphones, this issue needs to be resolved strictly, such as suspension, if someone does not follow the rules. Adopting these approaches has the potential to significantly improve students’s attention at school. In conclusion, The problem of lack of concentration at school is due to the prevalence of technological devices and lack of physical time. This problem can be addressed through stricter policies on using mobile phones at schools and set suitable time for students relax. Modern music has made great changes toward the music genre in the industry. It also has a positive or negative impact on youngsters such as our children. In my opinion, the negative impact is greater than the positive impact which I will discuss in this essay. People nowadays think that the up-to-date music is an inspiration for the younger generation. One reason is catching up the latest trends in social media and having a chance of getting popular. Another reason is using them in making short videos like Tik Tok, Youtube Shorts, Facebook reels, furthermore Instagram and dancing to beats of the music to get expanding interaction from their followers. And the last reason is receiving recognition from the artist who made the music recently. For example, JVKE met his fans while they were playing his “Golden Hour” song and joining them in singing. In contrast, some people come up with the idea that the younger they are, the stubborn they are. Another reason is that recent music like rock or rap contains only cursing words without having any encouraging or positive lyrics and often deal with pessimism. The last reason is acting like a gangster and having bad manners toward old people. I firmly believe that modern music has a positive impact on our younger generation, however the negative outweigh the positive impacts in terms of discouraging the songs the song maker made. In conclusion, the younger generation tends to hear songs that are pessimistic rather than optimistic. We adults need to observe and train our children in the way that they must listen to the right music. Modern music has made great changes toward the music genre in the industry. The diagram delineates how a modern landfill is designed and used. Overall, the manmade process entails four primary steps, commencing with the construction of a subterranean hole, the continuation of building a drainage system and using the erected landfill, culminating in the closure. The construction begins with a hole being dug underground, just above the natural rock layer, followed by the erection of a drainage system. In this stage, two protective linings made of clay are installed on all the sides, accompanied by drainage pipes and a drainage tank on the bottom. Once the installation is completed, the landfill is ready for use. Household waste is dumped into it, and the waste-liquid from the refuse sink into the drainage tank, before rerouting via the pipes. When the hole reaches its full capacity, it is closed by a clay sheet. Finally, the trash left decompose and generate waste gases, which are collected through a gas-collecting system. Scientists tell us some activities are good for health and others are bad. Despite knowing that millions of people continue doing unhealthy activities. What are the causes and what are the solutions? Despite being aware of which activities are beneficial and detrimental to health conditions, millions of people have maintained unhealthy behaviors. The underlying factors behind this phenomenon will be dissected in this essay, which will also propose several possible solutions to address the concern. Admittedly, economic strain is ascribed to the retention of unhealthy habits. Employment losses and stagnant wages generally predispose individuals to prioritize affordability over healthy options. For example, inexpensive food such as hamburgers and hot dogs are more consumed than wholesome but exorbitant choices like fresh vegetables and fish, making substantial contributions to easing financial precariousness. Another reason is that excessive exposure to digital content could beget severe addiction to users, especially young generations without proper parental supervision, leading to an inevitable lack of physical activities. A combined approach between the government and parents should be embraced to curb the trajectory. Government intervention is of great importance, with imposing higher taxes on fast food while subsidizing healthy basic food like vegetables and fish, making them more affordable. The affordability can lead to a collective shift towards healthy dietary options. Another solution is the parental involvement. Indubitably, if parents are more active to encourage their children’s engagement in social activities by creating family exercise routines or maintaining walking practice with their offspring, a passion for physical activities will presumably instill in their children, potentially laying a concrete foundation for a life of proper movement. In conclusion, economic pressure and the ubiquity of online content can have their roots in maintaining unhealthy habits, such as fast food consumption and physical inactivity. Therefore, the cooperation between governments and parents emerges as a prudent approach to foster the longer-term viability of promoting healthy practice. Scientists tell us some activities are good for health and others are bad. Despite knowing that millions of people continue doing unhealthy activities. Some people say economic growth is the only way to end world poverty and hunger, while others say economic growth is damaging the environment and must stop. Discuss both views and give your own opinion. The question of whether economic growth is a positive or negative development is a subject of ongoing debates. Some people claim that this development is the only solution to end poverty and hunger , while others assert that economic development has damaging effects on our environment and should be stopped. The following essay will discuss both views and give my opinion in favor of the first viewpoint. On the one hand , proponents of the view that economic development is damaging the environment and must be stopped highlight destructive activities of humanity on the environment. Economic growth relies heavily on extracting natural resources such as fossil fuels , water , soil and trees. These activities include the fuel extraction for activating machines , cutting down trees to create papers to write or wood for construction or hunting wild animals illegally to earn money. Therefore , if these activities continue to occur , the environment will be depleted and damaged completely , leading to bad consequences that humanity can never predict and the Earth becoming inevitable. On the other hand , economic growth is the only way to end poverty and hunger for several reasons. Poverty and hunger is the result of lack of education and overpopulation. Regarding education , when the country’s economy grows , the government has the ability to allocate their funds into developing the education system which allow people from all economic status to access to comprehensive education , therefore provide them to acquire new knowledge and sharpen their skills in both professional and real-world settings which can help them to be employed and break the cycle of poverty and hungry. Concerning overpopulation , economic growth allows the government to ensure that everyone can access a high-quality life. Because the government is able to invest their budgets in improving the living quality of their citizens through supporting low-income families and poor areas to make sure that no one is denied to have a happy and stable life. In conclusion ,for the reasons I have mentioned above, although both opinions certainly have some validity , my opinion completely supports the first viewpoint that economic growth is the only way to end world poverty and hunger Some people say economic growth is the only way to end world poverty and hunger, while others say economic growth is damaging the environment and must stop.
