The pictures illustrate how a present college site will change in the future. Overall, the college is projected to undergo several significant changes, the most prominent of which include the addition of classrooms, leading to the expansion of the site at the expense of the footpath and garden. Regarding the exterior, at present, there is a footpath traversing across the site, separating the main building from a garden, a parking lot, and a bus stop. In 2020, the garden and the footpath are anticipated to be removed, making space for the car park and main building to be expanded, while the bus stop and the road are expected to remain unchanged. Concerning the interior, currently, the main building can be accessed via an entrance on the same side of the garden, with a toilet being situated at the far end of the entrance. Moreover, a lunch area and two classrooms can be seen on the right from the entrance, while on the left is a third classroom, a reception area, and a library. According to the proposal, the entrance and toilet are expected to swap positions, while the lunch area will be downsized, making room for the addition of a new shop. Additionally, the reception area is projected to be moved to the centre, and the library is predicted to be switched to the opposite side, making way for additional classrooms. The overuse of high-tech devices, particularly computers resulting from the endlessly continuous development of technology makes varied people nowadays have in mind that they would not be capable of surviving or laboring, but not having them. Contrastingly, other people believe that computers commonly exist as a barrier to humankind in today's world. This essay will analyze the issue from both sides before my personal perspective is provided. On the one hand, there are various ways in which computers are more a hindrance than a help. Initially, in terms of health, not only can negatively affect our vision, but it may also have a risky influence on our human skeleton, particularly the backbone. It is to say if humans use computers for a long time, too much exposure to blue light from computer screens can cause digital eye strain. Furthermore, it is evident that regular usage of computers without any limitations can bring about long-lasting laziness in human behavior, making people less active and more sleepy. On the other hand, individuals feel computers as an indispensable tools, regardless its danger level. Despite the drastic negatives provided, one cannot turn a blind eye to the incontestable benefits that it is the easiest way to collect data. We all acknowledge there are limitations to memorizing capability in our brain, and we cannot remember various information. Thus, we need computers not only to do this work but also to do other types. For example, with computer assistance, we can organize several specific apps to help us manage and fulfill our work from a distance, not having any common mistakes or embarrassing imperfections. After considering the issue, I am more sympathetic to the second view. Although there are several opinions that computers negatively affect our lives, I personally acquiesce that its benefits outweigh its drawbacks. Nevertheless, it is an advice that you should not stay on the computer for hours per day in order not to suffer from health and mentality problems. WRITING TASK 2 You should spend about 40 minutes on this task. Write about the following topic: There is a lot of pressure on young people today to succeed academically. As a result, some people believe that non-academic subjects, such as physical education and cookery, should be removed from the school syllabus so that children can concentrate on academic work. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge and experience. Write at least 250 words. Bài viết: Some people believe that the young should be forced to pursue academic subjects and ignore non-academic ones such as physical education and cookery in order to become successful. In my opinion, I do not agree with the idea of removing non-academic subjects from the curriculum as all subjects are important and can contribute to the complete development of children. On the one hand, the opponents encourage young people to just concentrate on educational disciplines since they believe these can help their kids succeed. Children are being put more and more pressure to make an effort to study academic fields such as math or physics. Obviously, these subjects can stimulate kids' brains and help them solve problems logically. As a result, some people consider being good at academic disciplines with intelligence and higher opportunities to achieve greater results. On the other hand, concentrating on succeeding academically and neglecting other fields may lead children to lack life skills. First, when they are put under the expectation of others about high academic results from an early age, they can only focus on that work and forget other necessary skills. For instance, in many families, the parents do not let their kids do any household chores as they want the children to focus on their studies, some even choose to send them to extra classes for better marks. Properly, when these children grow up, they can be extremely good at some academic field but do not know how to do basic housework. Moreover, when non-academic subjects like physical education and cookery are removed, children will not have time for outdoor and leisure activities. They will not have an environment to interact with other people and improve their communication skills. Although many people are not aware of the importance of non-academic subjects to the young population, it is clear that when the body is healthy with physical activity, the brain can work better with studious disciplines. In conclusion, I strongly believe that both academic and non-academic subjects have positive impacts on children as each kind has its own way of developing children's abilities. Therefore, I do not agree with detaching non-academic subjects from the school syllabus. With the combination of all necessary fields, young individuals can be successful. The line chart below illustrates the variation in the number of people accessing to two fresh music sites (Music Choice and Pop Parade) in 15 days. As can be seen from the graph, both the websites' figures experience a fluctuation and end up with higher visits than it shows from the beginning of the period. However, the Music Choice undergoes more remarkable changes overall. Starting off at nearly 120 times in the first three days, Pop Parade's visits went down quickly and dropped to a low of 20 times on the seventh day. After a period of stability around this figure, it suddenly increased to over 140 times, followed by a marked decrease of about half on the thirteenth day once again. Finally, it peaked at over 160 times. Regarding Music Choice, the website has a less humble start than Pop Parade at only 40 visits and spikes to 60 viewers three days later. Nevertheless, it was harshly down and fluctuated at around 20 to 40 visits in the eight upcoming days. Then, the figure surged and touched the highest point over 120 times after starting to decline one more time to reach approximately 80 times on the last day. Task2: In many countries, children are becoming overweight and unhealthy. Some people think that the government has the responsibility to solve this problem. To what extent do you agree or disagree? It is argued that the trend of being overweight and unhealthy in the young ages, especially kids, are more popular at an unprecedented rate than in the past. In my opinion, I believe that this problem should be addressed by both governments and parents for several reasons. On the one hand, the government makes a significant contribution to deal with the state of child obesity. Firstly, parent’s children pay an amount of money for the national budgets like food or services related to it. As a result, the government should take responsibility for ensuring that children need to sustain a healthy diet with essential nutrition. Secondly, being overweight and unhealthy can happen through having meals at school. With regard to their school’s diet, the government can combine with school as well as nutritionists to get a daily suitable menu for children to provide complete nutrition without causing them to become overweight. On the other hand, the parental factor plays an important role in coping with this issue. Nowadays, the rate of obesity at a young age results from the unconcern of parents about the weight of children, which is researched by experts published in the VNExpress. Because parents often pamper their children by allowing them excessive consumption of sweet candies or soft drinking leading to being overweight and unhealthy. As a result, families should control the amount of food intake everyday of children to reduce the percentage of weight gain. In conclusion, the government and parents are responsible for solving this phenomenon. If the government gets health topics in the children’s curriculums, this trend will reduce significantly. Overall, the art gallery will witness radical changes with the most noticeable being the expansion of the permanent exhibition space and the addition of the space in the West which will be used for two different purposes. The current gallery has a quite narrow space. The visitors access the gallery by a door which leads to the lobby located in front of an office. Walking through two temporary exhibition spaces, visitors can come to the permanent exhibition space. As a result of the redevelopment, the entrance will be moved to the Parkinson Court so that visitors can walk straight into the permanent exhibition space which will be enlarged by the demolition of the two temporary exhibition spaces. The picture illustrates how to make honey in a simple production for commercial purposes. Overall, the process consists of two main phases: the bee phase, beginning from gathering nectar to worker bees keeping their cells clean, and human intervention, commencing from gathering honeycombs to transporting jars of honey for sale. During the bee phase, the process starts with nectar being gathered by forager bees from flowers. This is then carried back to the hive where it is deposited as honey. Next, worker bees fan their wings to dry the honey, thereby making it thicker, followed by each cell being sealed with wax to keep the substance clean and form honeycombs. In the human phase, farmers or workers collect the honeycombs, before these honeycombs are pressed to extract honey, which is then taken to the factory. Once the honey has been transferred to the factory, it is poured into the sump tank, where it is heated to 45 to 50 degrees Celsius. This makes the honey thin enough to flow by gravity down to the second tank where it is sieved to remove impurities. From here, the cleaned honey runs down to the last container, the settling tank, where it is left for 2 to 4 days before being drained into jars. Finally, the jars are labelled, sealed, and transported to selling points. The picture illustrates how to make honey in a simple production for commercial purposes. People are using a lot of online language translation apps. Do you think the advantages of this trend outweigh the disadvantages?
Online language translation applications have become one of the common applications that are utilised by the masses. I believe that its advantages outweigh disadvantages. On the one hand, some translator applications provide people to translate words and improve their study of new language journals. Especially in modern life, younger generations are approached with exceptional amenities such as they can search for new vocabularies anywhere, even don’t use wifi and need not bring a thick dictionary book. Furthermore, there are a lot of applications developed by producers with numerous functions like voice recognition systems that can identify people's speech, boosting user’s experience. Next, they can enjoy using cameras to translate text via camera, because it is extremely quick to do so that is relevant in any country. However, the foremost ramification is over-reliance on language conversation software. Thus, they will be passive when they want to study any new languages. Then, people will lose their ability to study the English language. For example, Google translator may create some errors and lose its natural meaning. When you want to translate a difficult phrase, that will provide users with a difficult passage. Overall, the benefits from translator apps for humankind is such an amazing invention. Even though it has detrimental effects on some sides, its merit may outweigh its demerit. So , whenever they come to other countries, it becomes easier that they just need to use an online translator to render vocabulary. Nowadays, there are many reasons environmental pollution. What are causes and solution? In this day and age, there are multiple causes that lead to environmental problems that are more taxing than ever before, some of them seemingly insoluble. Pollution is an obvious example of this affecting our air, water, and soil. In my essay, I will find some of the main causes and remedy a situation. It is obvious that there are numerous reasons for environmental pollution. The first reason is that emissions are released by industry, which lead to air pollution, and have a devastating impact on our atmosphere. Besides, serious pollution can be life-threatening to human life. For example, people suffer from various dangerous diseases such as lung cancer, and heart disease, which have a negative impact on their well-being. Moreover, another reason is deforestation. Other human activities such as the overdevelopment of land the clearing of trees, and deforestation have been shown to cause soil pollution. This contamination in turn affects the natural habitat for many animal species. Especially, endangered species which are on the brink of extinction. There are several solutions can be recommended to address the urgent problem. First and foremost, the governments regulate the emissions by companies so that they do not exceed the limit amount is the challenging one. In terms of deforestation, the authorities forbade inhabitants to use land illegally and educate the public about the importance of the environment by portraying in multimedia to raise awareness of human In conclusion, the environment is our home so we join hands to tackle this pressing problem. [WRITING TASK 2] Thầy/Cô sửa bài essay này giúp em, em xin cảm ơn nhiều lắm!
Topic: More and more people are migrating to cities in search of a better life, but city life can be extremely difficult. Explain some of the difficulties of living in a city. How can governments make urban life better for everyone? It is true that there is a large number of people moving to a metropolis which is known as a place of economy, healthcare, and education development that makes city life become more and more difficult for everyone. There are a variety of possible reasons for this, but steps can definitely be taken to tackle the problem. In my opinion, three main factors are to blame for the challenge of living in a large city. Firstly, when living in a big city we have to face complicated issues as the cost of living is likely to be much higher than it is in a small town or rural area. Besides, housing is usually much more expensive, and we have to pay higher prices for food, healthcare, and transportation. Secondly, the street and public transport systems are usually overcrowded which leads us to suffer from intractable problems such as traffic congestion, air pollution, or mental health. Finally, one of the primary reasons for social inequality is high population concentration which contributes to social issues such as high crime and poverty rates, environmental degradation, or a gap between rich and poor. However, these problems can certainly be improved if governments have reasonable policies. I suppose that they should invest money in the building of affordable or social housing, the cost of living needs to be regulated appropriately. It is necessary for the authorities to enhance the public transport network, and encourage all residents to use sustainable public transportation which helps to reduce both air pollution and traffic jams. In Vietnam, for example, the introduction of eco-friendly buses or motorbikes to curb the air pollution problem. Another measure is that the government should promote economic development by creating more jobs in provincial towns or remote areas to help mitigate the pressure on major cities and balance social equality. In conclusion, these difficulties will continue to survive in the future unless the government implements a range of measures to enhance a better quality of life for all citizens. There is no need to go out to see live performance (concert...) because it is better to see them on the TV or Computer screen. Do you agree or díagree? There is a common belief that it is unnecessary to go outside to go to a live concert because watching it at home on personal screens is much better than seeing staged performances. From my perspective, I partially agree with this statement. In this essay, I will shed light on both sides of the issue On the one hand, I partly agree that people don’t need to participate in live performances One of the main reasons can be that people aren’t interested in concerts owing to the sky-high cost. Another reason is that home entertainment is more comfortable and economical than attending live concerts. this means that it will be one of the appropriate options for fans who can’t afford to meet the costs instead of buying tickets with prohibitive prices. For example, people can easily watch different types of free live concerts or play on the website. On the other hand, I disagree that seeing concerts at home on personal technology is better. First and foremost, people can appreciate an enjoyable atmosphere at a crowded concert more than staying at home. Particularly, the lighting, the lively atmosphere, and the emotional audience here can’t feel at home. Besides, this is a unique opportunity for real music fans to get close and interact with well-known singers and personal favorite instrumentalists and bands. For example, people can see them on the stage, dancing, and singing with thousands of fans. To summarize, whenever watching concerts at home or directly, considering this is a more effective way. The graph below shows the average number of UK commuters travelling each day by car, bus or train between 1970 and 2030. The line graph illustrates the average number of people participating in traffic by vehicles (car, bus or train) during the 60-year period. Overall, it is clear that the figure for car and train witnesses an upward trend while that of bus sees the opposite figure. In addition, car takes the first rank in total number of commuters during the period. In 1970, the number of people traveling by car was around 5 million, followed by bus and train at over 4 and around 2 million respectively. In the next 30 years, those driving work increased significantly by 2 million whilst people taking part in the rail system rose moderably to 3 million. By contrast, the figure for citizens using the bus had a drop of 0,5 million in 2000.
