Đề Bài: Families who send their children to private schools should not be required to pay taxes that support the state education system. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement? One school of thought holds that families who send their children to private school should not be required to pay taxes that support the state education system. While acknowledging the reason for this thinking, I personally disagree with this view and it will be analyzed in my essay. On the one hand, it is obvious that in some private schools which are operated by the entrepreneur are different compared to the public school, they are not supported by the government so they have to spend their budget to pay for not only the utilities but also the operating costs and other expenses. Another reason is that despite having variety of different between the private school and public school but this act may exaggerate the disparity between them, for example, the majority of the private school have much more advanced education tools as well as higher quality teaching staff than the private school so if the wealthy who send their adolescents to the private school can not only save costs but also can have better education condition, it would be unfair for the poverty who learning at the public still have to pay taxes for the government but have less education condition. On the other hand, i am not optimistic that we can not ensure that there are no other reforms that will start to resemble this one, for instance should the government stop taxing people who receive treatment from private hospital, but still kept the portion of the common resident, as a result the government may not experience fail reform due to monetizing from people who lack money but even worse can lead to the demonstration. In sum, I firmly believe that any financial tax should be posed to the people who learn in private school. Nowadays, wearing uniforms has become a regulation for employees in many firms. This essay will discuss the benefits which a company can have when using uniforms for their staff as well as some positive upside for individual workers. Turning first to the advantages for firms, there are two obvious benefits which uniforms could provide. One of these is that uniforms enable the companies to manage their staff more easily. With its cohesive and unified appearance such as the consistent color, logo, uniforms allow the companies to distinguish them from visitors or even strangers. Therefore, this contributes to a safer work environment for staff. Moreover, uniforms reinforce the company’s brand identity. For example, KFC has a unique uniform which has the face of Harland sanders’ face, founder of KFC, helps the brand to stand out over other businesses. Additionally, uniforms are beneficial not only for companies but also offer numerous advantages for individual staff. As it can be seen, uniforms provide numerous advantages for each employee. The first benefit is reduction in personal clothing expenses. By having provision of clothing to wear when going to work, this can help staff cut down on the sum of money spent on shopping. Consequently, this facilitates workers to invest in other fields, such as saving, learning new languages with this money. Additionally, uniforms encourage appropriate behavior between staff and customers. For example, the uniforms enable students to distinguish between the teacher, who is the staff member at an English center, and other people. In conclusion, I firmly believe that wearing uniforms has such a beneficial influence on both firms and individual staff. While companies have many benefits in security and their brand identity, per employee receives numerous positive upside in their financial, and others’ behavior. Question prompt: Some people think paying taxes is a big enough contribution to their society, while others think people have more responsibilities as members of society than only paying taxes. Discuss both views and give your opinion. In the modern era, many people argue that fulfilling tax obligations is an immense contribution of citizens to the sustainability of society, while others advocate for social responsibilities that can go beyond taxation. In this essay, I will first examine both viewpoints and give my opinion. On the one hand, it is not a stretch to say that paying taxes is significant support for a healthier economy and society, which is attractive for several reasons. At the heart of the reasoning behind this thinking is that the increasing amounts of taxes are positively correlated with more resources being channeled into healthcare, education, and infrastructure, bringing a sense of societal welfare. Moreover, individuals who contribute to the collective betterment of society will receive numerous benefit packages in the distant future. Notwithstanding the aforementioned argument, I side with those who advocate for additional civic duties beyond tax payment, falling under the umbrella of a variety of social responsibilities, including addressing environmental problems as an example. While the responsibility of government bodies receives financial backing and channels more resources into combating environmental collapse, which is a pressing issue in the modern-day needing to be resolved as soon as possible. It is a complex issue requiring collective cooperation from each individual in the community, bringing a much-needed perspective to gain success in terms of improving one aspect of society's fabric. In conclusion, I would contend that the holistic development of society requires not only fulfilling tax obligations, although they are of paramount importance for social functioning, but also necessitates an environment-conscious attitude within communities Question prompt: Some people think paying taxes is a big enough contribution to their society, while others think people have more responsibilities as members of society than only paying taxes. Many people prefer to watch foreign films rather than locally produced films. Why could this be? Should governments give more financial support to local film industries?
It is true that viewers love watching movies produced in other countries than domestic ones. There are several reasons for that, and I believe local film-makers should be subsidized by the government. There are various factors for movies produced locally are less appeal to people than foreign movies. First, film techniques in local areas are not professional, which makes the quality of movies much lower and affects viewers' experience when watching it. To clerify, some characters and scenes in movies cannot film realistically such as a T-rex or a big explosion so directors need some alternative such as CGI to create those things instead. However, if their skills are not good enough to create qualified result, the movies are likely to be flop. Another reason is that foreign films often have the appearance of famous actors and actresses or accomplished directors, which people will excitingly look forward to watching the movies. Such as Beauty and the Beast, with the attendance of Emma Watson, who became well-known from Harry Potter, was such a huge success. In my opinion, I think the government should fund film crew in order to create opportunities for them and develop film industry in their own countries. To begin with, film crew need budget to maintain such as paying for actors and actress, buying props to serve filming their movies. If they do not have enough budget for these, crew flims cannot exist let alone release movies. Furthermore, to make scenes more real and lively, crews need to shoot scenes in spectacular locations, which requires a huge part of budget. This is clear that governments' subsidiaries will give them a chance to improve movies' quality. In conclusion, quite a few factors impact people to go for foreign movies and I claim that the government should raise fund to support local film-makers. It is true that viewers love watching movies produced in other countries than domestic ones. Đề bài: Many people use social media every day to get in touch with other people and news events. Do you think the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages? It is proposed that in this modern era, a diverse array of individuals rely on internet-based communication channels to stay connected with other people and access news events. From my perspective, regular use of social media provides numerous advantages owing to its convenience and efficiency. On the one hand, It is understandable why some might subscribe to the viewpoint that web-based networking brings a host of disadvantages to its users. First and foremost, excessive use of social media raises privacy concerns, since the users have to share their personal information owing to the compromised privacy of these platforms in order to connect with other people, which in turn makes their information accessible to third parties, resulting in identity theft, stalking or other fraudulent activities. However, major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and X partner with numerous security firms to enhance and protect their server databases from cybercrime. Moreover, frequent use of these platforms could also lead to addiction, resulting in decreased focus on their work and studies, as their attention is consumed by current news. On the other hand, it is undeniable that virtual communities yield a plethora of benefits to their life. The first rationale for this is connectivity, as social media facilitate convenient and instantaneous communication with friends, family, and colleagues, regardless of geographical distances enabling people to stay connected and maintain relationships, fostering a sense of community and belonging. Furthermore, online networking platforms have become valuable sources of news and information for staying updated, as they offer access to reputable editorial offices and news organizations, providing users with timely and cost-effective updates on current events and breaking news. In conclusion, while social media does present certain drawbacks, its advantages, such as connectivity, access to news and information, and convenience, make it an indispensable tool for communication and information sharing in this modern era, outweigh the drawbacks in the long run. Topic: Nowadays families are not as close as they used to be. What do you think are the cause of this? What can be done to make families closer? In this day and age, it has become far more normal for families to experience a disconnection between us. In my opinion, there are several causes contributing to this trend, along with potential remedies to address the issue There are two compelling reasons that explain the reality of the disconnected relationship between households. The key reason is the proliferation of technology and social media. By having social platforms which give the convenience for people to communicate at all times, face-to-face interaction is limited. This means that in the virtual world of technology, people would prefer online interaction due to the absence of time and geographical constraints. Furthermore, the pressure of modern life is also the factor for the distance of families' relationships. This is because the common topic when talking is about life and private stories which accidentally put a strain on people and make them have a fear of sharing stories. However, we still have the remedy to tackle this issue. For one, establishing regular screen time limits for each family member. In order to limit the screen time, individuals should propose some fixed time for using technology in family. By having less time on social platforms, face-to-face interaction would be more inclined towards. Another potential solution is encouraging honest communication and active listening as well as empathy. Instead of chatting online, people an create a friend outing in a caffe or somewhere to exchange information lively. Given more time outside, people would have more opportunities to bond with their relationships and understand their loved ones. In summation, while technology and the pressures of modern life contribute to the disconnect within families, setting limits on screen time and fostering open communication can help rebuild these relationships. Overall, it is clear that the figures for industrialized countries were much higher than development ones. Also, the charts show an overall increase in the research and science. People in developing countries attended school for 3 years, with a slight increase to nearly 4 years from 1980 to 1990. On the other hand, the number of industrialized countries rose significantly from 9 years to 11 years in 10 years. The number of scientists and technicians in industrialized countries almost doubled to 70 per 1000 people, and spending on research and development saw rapid growth from 170 billion to 350 billion in 1990. Đề bài: Some say that because many people are living much longer, the age at which people retire from work should be raised considerably. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Changing demographics has been a thought-provoking issue for years. Many people believe increased longevity has lent support to the abolishment of mandatory retirement. I agree with this opinion. Certainly, there are numerous favourable impacts on organisations when old people can maintain their work longer, chief of which is stable intellectual ability and physical health. As a matter of fact, thanks to improved medical advances and anti-aging technology, human longevity now is greatly extended. This marked improvement in living standards throughout the world leads to the fact that people at the threshold of retirement are generally more mentally and physically active than previous generations. It comes as no surprise that people’s prime has been extended significantly and old people now can live a more fulfilling life with fewer hospital visits. Thus, the traditional prejudices of old people living in decrepitude with costly nursing home care and being a drain on the country’s wealth should be removed. Since old employees’ mental and physical health are still active, their capability of work challenges and their competence may still remain the same. Along with the advantage of a vast amount of hand-on experience and skills, blue-collar workers can be considered as an asset to organisations. Therefore, it is of importance that the retirement age should be raised. Another benefit arising from this modification is senior workers’ valuable wealth of experiences. To elaborate, many employees at advanced ages are willing to stay on junior positions and provide training to newbies, since income has no longer been an effective incentive to them. Thanks to their leadership and experience, young coworkers can get familiar with working style and culture. The consistency of staff training is therefore ensured greatly, contributing to the efficacy of the entire organisation. Moreover, the cooperation of old workers can guarantee the diversity of perspectives and minimises the risk of relying on impulsive decisions made by young, inexperienced personnels, hence promoting the prosperity of the organisation. For this reason, raising the age of retirement or just abolishing mandatory retirement should be subject to modification. In conclusion, it is undoubted that increasing the age of retirement can bring about a number of benefits based on the above-mentioned reasons. Raising the retirement age is thus entirely justifiable, though it is up to the senior themselves whether to retire or not. As computers are being used more and more in education, there will be soon no role for teachers in the classroom. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Nowadays, the references of computers are widespread in most of the classroom. Therefore, it leads to a fair loss of role for teachers in the far future. Personally, I totally disagree with the school of thought for two reasons. There are two compelling reasons to argue that teachers play an integral role in the classroom. The key reason is that teachers can suggest practical adjustments for students. This is because a computer could not have emotions like humans, and teachers who are trained in expertised colleges could give students a wide range of profound and particular judgments. For example, if students make a mistake, computers may just find their mistake but don’t pinpoint areas for improvements like teachers can do. Although computers could find mistakes, how to improve and errors in corrections is more significant. Furthermore, teachers could give the best pets for students. Given that the students do all of the research on the internet when looking for some information, teachers could limit the unnecessary research by their experiences. This means that the computers have fixed programming to show all the results they can find, and some of them are unnecessary. By going through a lot of research on a wide range of websites, teachers can identify suitable and reliable sources for their students on the internet. Instead of experiencing by themself to realize the quality web, going to ask teachers can save the time study.
