It is suggested that all the young adults should undertake a period of unpaid work helping people in the community. Does it bring more benefits or drawbacks to the community and the young people? It is said that all young should do a job without being paid to help people in public. Although it has certain disadvantages, i would argue that its advantages are far greater. On the one hand, do an unpaid work can brings about a number of demerits for young people. Firstly, due to the development of social life, young individuals could feel discouraging if they can't earn money to live on. As a result, they have to depend on their family to making a living. Secondly, they may lose an chances to understand themselves because they spend time to support community, which have an negative effects on their orientation. If they are too concentrate on help public, they would not focus on their future and lose their career that they want. Nevertheless, the advantages of helping community without being paid are much more significant. The first reason is that, since young people contact with every body on a daily basis, they can improve their social communication skills. This allows them have life skills to deal with a hardship situation they could facing difficulties in social. Additionally, as young individuals have their own experience, they could have an opportunity to get a job with a high salary in the future. For example, young people who do volunteer activities, this could write on their job application and the recruiter would catch eyes on them. Conclusion, while there are a host of demerits when do a work without salary, i feel that its advantages are weightier. It is suggested that all the young adults should undertake a period of unpaid work helping people in the community. Does it bring more benefits or drawbacks to the community and the young people? Overall, most people in the USA consumed fast food once a week or once or twice a month over the given time frame. It is striking that the number of American convenience food consumers reached a peak of 33% in two categories: once a week and once or twice a month in 2006 and 2013 respectively. Meanwhile, the USA fast food restaurant’s daily customers only took up 4% in 2003, leveled off at approximately 2.5% in the subsequent years 2006 and 2013. Similarly, individuals who never feed themselves with fast food started at a mere 5% in 2003, then decreased slightly, and remained unchanged at 4% eventually. The table illustrates the proportion of British in different age groups working in four separate fields in 1998 and 2006. Overall, there was a vast majority of the UK’s citizens taking part in the technology sector in 2006. By contrast, the number of working people at the age of 56 to 65 was the lowest in every area except education in the years surveyed. It is striking that working in the education field was the least popular with the youngest age group over the given time frame. Meanwhile, over one hundred thousand of workers who were from 26-55 joined this sector. Individuals belonging to the 56-65 age group also witnessed the largest number in education with 43.647 and 23.000 employees in 1998 and 2006, respectively compared with the other categories. Technology led the job market in 2006 with a huge quantity of the UK’s laborers. Notably, there were 454.375 British laborers at the age of 26-35 who had jobs relevant to technology. The runner-up was the 36-45 group which consisted of 273.466 people. Whilst, the oldest group hit a low of merely 800 workers in this field. Turning to building, which became the most appealing section in the job market with respect to the youngest group. Building dominated the workforce in the 18-25 group, attracting 112.565 and 86.430 workers in 1998 and 2006 sequentially. Conversely, the oldest group who contributed to this sector comprised the smallest numbers (5.400, 3.287 people in 1998, 2006 respectively). Interestingly, the older people got, the fewer of them chose to work in the building sector. In a number of countries, some people think it necessary to spend large sums of money on constructing new railway lines for very fast trains between cities. Others believe the money should be spent on improving existing public transport. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
In several countries, it has become increasingly prevalent for individuals to suppose that spending a fortune on building new railway lines for a quicker journey among cities is crucial. On the other hand, other people think that existing public transport should be invested for enhancement. From my perspective, both qualities are of great significance in equal measure as these infrastructures are equivalently vital to human’s life and society’s development. In this essay, I will further elaborate both perspectives and give relevant examples to support my arguments. There is one key reason why large sums of money should be invested in constructing new railway lines for high-speech trains which travel through different nations. Notably, it rapidly boosts the convenience in terms of traveling for a long journey. As a consequence, the wide fast train network will attract more tourists and stimulate tourism, which can bring a lucrative income to countries, offer more job opportunities to local people and alleviate the rate of unemployment. Therefore, allocating a great deal of money for erecting new railway lines for high-speed trains should be encouraged. Regarding existing public transport, there are two principal motivations to allocate money for this area of infrastructure. First and foremost, it is undeniable that expanding the current network of public transport will certainly assist domestic traveling, make it more effortless and convenient for daily transportation. For further explanation, numerous students and working people who do not have any means of transport now can easily go to their schools and companies thanks to public transports. For example, thousands of people go to work by subway trains and public transports are considered as an indispensable part of their lives. Another reason is the environmental benefit that public transport brings to humans. Thanks to it, the number of personal vehicles is reduced significantly, which results in the decline regarding exhaust fumes and traffic congestion. Consequently, humans can prevent the Earth from pollution. The air quality will be improved, decreasing the risk of suffering from lung diseases. From these above advantages, it is necessary to spend money upgrading existing public transport. In conclusion, both points of view are reasonable. I hold the opinion that the budget invested into public transport improvement and railway lines for very fast trains should be measured and divided equally and reasonably as both of them are beneficial to the growth of countries. In several countries, it has become increasingly prevalent for individuals to suppose that spending a fortune on building new railway lines for a quicker journey among cities is crucial. Views on what constitutes human characteristics today clearly influence human psychology and mental growth. My point is that character development and personality cultivation are greatly aided by the everyday lessons learned from human experience. First and quite fundamental, human characteristics are very important while parenting a child because they help shape their behavior in this world. They could still be modified, though, in order to accommodate external changes. As a result, this is the foundational phase in which parents can shield their kids from negative consequences. With the grower stage, kids are now teenagers, old enough to mostly take care of themselves and no longer need their parents' protection. At this point, external variables have the ability to quickly affect and greatly compromise their traits. For example, when they first started their temporary part-time employment, they were a committed, caring person. But after those harsh and unfair competitions, their traits progressively shift. They then modify and select a different approach to develop a whole different trait. Adulthood causes people to become more aware of what is good and bad. They select the best course of action and appropriate therapy for their behaviors based on the physical surroundings in which they operate. In conclusion, I do not think that characteristics have much more influence on our personality and development but the experiences we have in our life. They heavily affect and adjust the way we live in our lives. Views on what constitutes human characteristics today clearly influence human psychology and mental growth. My point is that character development and personality cultivation are greatly aided by the... Read moreNguyễn Thị Thuỳ An

Topic: Some people think that children should be taught to compete, but others think that children should be taught to co-operate to become more useful adults. Write an essay of about 250 words to express your opinions and give evidence to prove your viewpoints. Essay: Views widely diverge on whether children should be motivated to excel themselves or emphasising on co-operation. This essay will clarify my personal opinion on the views. On the one hand, it is undeniable that co-operative ability brings children certain benefits. To begin with, it helps children foster interpersonal skills, namely: communication, empathy and the ability to work work with others as a team. These skills are some of the main necessities for children future success, especially in their future career. Furthermore, co-operation also greatly benefits children’s relationship as it teaches them to acknowledge the perspectives of others. Another advantage of collaboration is that it promotes children’s sense of community as they learn to support and work smoothly with their peers. On the other hand, there are more compelling reasons why I am convinced that children should be inspired to strive to outperform rather than collaborating. Firstly, overemphasis on co-operation may lead to a lack of individual drive and initiative in children. Beacause working together may lead to children becoming overly reliant on others to accomplish task, while competitiveness can drive children to excel themselves to achieve their full potential. Moreover, learning to compete can encourage children’s important skills, including resilience, determination and the ability to handle pressure. Nevertheless, in some competitive environment, such as the workforce the ability to co-operate may be undervalued in comparison to individual achievement, making it important for children to learn to compete. In conclusion, although collaboration is important in some respects, I am convinced that the benefits of competitiveness is more significant. Topic: Some people think that children should be taught to compete, but others think that children should be taught to co-operate to become more useful adults. Write an essay of about 250 words to... Mong được thầy cô nhận xét và cho em xin ý kiến với ạ . Em cảm ơn thầy cô rất nhiều ạ . Many people find it hard to balance their work with other parts of their lives . What are the reason for this ? How can this problem be overcome ? It is true that a huge amount of people today struggle to balance their work with other aspects of their lives . This essay will first point out the reason why many people have difficulty balancing the above aspect and propose certain solutions to deal with the problem. Two main factors are to blame for a large number of adult who difficulty balancing their lives. One main cause of this issue are hectic schedules, or in others words people are likely to assume a heavy workload and under too much pressure from work . For instance, employers of companies have to work an average of 10 hours each day to finish their tasks, and as a result they don’t have free time to spend for their person life. Another reason that must be mentioned is people do not know how to properly arrange time for person life and time for work. As a result, employees will find it hard to balance their work with other aspects of life. There are two straightfoward ways to address the problem . Overall, it is clear that Pebbleton has undergone substantial transformations (thay đổi đáng kể) through the expansion of its infrastructure, including the proliferation of residential zones and recreational amenities, which has changed the town into a more urbanized area. Initially, Pebbleton was an undeveloped town connected to the mainland through the Roadbridge, which was the only route to get to school on the opposite side of the river at that time. In the center of the town, there existed several trees surrounding the main road running east to west known as Old Fort Road. The northern side of the main road was housing areas, going through Lighthouse Lane, next to that is a Lighthouse and old fort. Looking at the western of the road, which is near the sea has a film studio and a playing field running along the main road. In the present day, the number of residences has been growing since the film studio was demolished and replaced by flats. Additionally, a new pedestrian bridge from the town to the school has been built. With the increasing in accommodation and the opening of the community center, the old fort was converted into a children’s playground and a new tennis court was established to serve the needs of local people. The diagram below shows the carbon cycle. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. ------ The diagram wholly depicts the procedure of how a prevalent substance called carbon dioxide is consumed by multiple methods. Overall, the carbon cycle is mainly divided into 2 small processes, one is linear, and the other is circular. Notably, both have their own supreme merits, especially for biodiversity. Firstly, carbon dioxide existing in the atmosphere and the oceanic condition interacts, then its mixture semendation forms limestone and shells, which are usually located in caves and are known as canxi cacbonat. The second procedure is a circular cycle, which links to plants and animals’ essential demands and it even assists vehicles with flammable sources. CO2 is required for the photosynthesis phase of greens which are also the main food source for animals such as rabbits to feed on. Animals also have the phase of exchanging gases conducting carbon dioxide through exhalation. Both animals and plants then might decompose and take ages to become fossils, however, fossils are useful afterward. It can be converted into flammable fuels listed as oil, coal and gas which will run transports’ engines after being extracted and combusted. Lastly, these vehicles’ exhaust fumes put out are CO2. Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that rugby's data experience a decline whilst the others have minor alterations over a 20 year period, with the least statistic seen in badminton. It is noticeable that rugby ranked as the leading popular sport in 1985, accounting for roughly 250, followed by tennis with 150. Over a period of 10 years, individuals who joined in rugby decreased minimally whereas the figure for tennis had a moderate growth and they converged at precisely 200 in 1995. On the other hand, badminton and basketball leveled off at over 50 and about 80 in turn, moreover, basketball participation was higher than badminton until the end of this period. Regarding tennis data, it underwent an upward trajectory and was greatest at approximately 220. Keeping a significant plunge, the number of people taking part in rugby in 1985 was five times as high as that in 2005 which dropped to a nadir of 50, also the same reach as badminton. In addition, there was a slow rise in the graph for basketball, nearly 90 at the end of this period. [Đề trên ảnh ạ] The pie chart depicts the ratio of government’s fund on the Art sphere in 1995 and 2005, while the bar chart illustrates how many participants each event had attracted. Overall, after a ten-year period, the proportion had gradual changes and the amount of people participating in those events predictably rose except visual arts, yet ranking unchanged. For all the time, music was the most concern for the government’s fund, which was always at the first place. Next, visual arts and theater were deemed to have switched positions. The former was at the second position in 1995 and the third in 2005, the opposite was true for the latter. Accounting for the smallest proportion was literature, however, in 2005, the government doubled the spending on it compared to its receipt in 1995. In contrast, literature seemed to attract viewers most, notably higher than others, at approximately 120000 in 1995 and it increased sharply and ended at nearly 160000 in the following ten years. That figure was followed by people who went to the theater, with the amount in both 2 years located in the 70000 to 90000 range. Topic: It was predicted that with the development of technology, people would have more free time in 21st century. To what extent do you think the prediction has come true? It was projected that people nowadays have much more leisure time compared to people in the past. Although technology has some positive impacts on human's lives, from my perspective, I disagree with this statement. On the one hand, technological advances bring many benefits to our lives. First of all, in some industries, tasks are completed quickly and effectively by automated machines in lieu of human beings. For example, in logistics management, robots are replaced for workers to classify and arrange goods in the warehouse, which optimize time and productivity for the warehouse operation. Secondly, the rise of internet and digital communication tools have enabled us to work anywhere, resulting in reducing the amount of time for commuting to and from an office. Additionally, the most breakthrough technological creation these days is AI, which is Artificial Technology, contributing to the development of many realms. For instance, Elsa is an English application which helps thousands of users all over the world to master their English pronunciation skill in a short time developed with AI. On the other hand, technological development leads to an increase in demand for our time. First and foremost, the availability of Internet connection and digital devices means that individuals are always ready to work regardless of locations and time zones. In fact, a lot of employees are required to do their jobs outside of their working hours, which has detrimental effects on their leisure time. In addition, AI and robots have replaced humans in some manual jobs, which leads to intense competition in the labor market. As a result, people have to spend more time to gain new knowledge and enhance necessary skills to adopt to the market. In conclusion, while technology has increased greater efficiency and productivity in many aspects of lives, I do not suppose that people in the modern day have more free time than in the past. On the one hand, there are several reasons why people support the idea that leadership skills can be learnt. To begin with, because of the development of the internet, individuals who want to be a good leader they can learn from the social media or they can inquire these skills from experienced people. For example, a person who want to have leadership skills, they can find on the internet a leadership course to learn communication and other skills that required to be a group leader. Furthermore, to be a good leaders, they must have responsible and self-confidence to try this talent. As a result, they can be a great leader of their team. On the other hand, i agree with those who claim that leaders are born with charismatic personality. Firstly, since some people have leadership innate, they don't have to take a lot of time to learn how to be a good leader. Consequently, they will have plenty of time to support members in their team. Secondly, their work could occur more effectively and faster, which helps them to get a better result in work or study. If the leader don't have lots of experience, their workload would be delay and more mistakes in their job. in conclusion, while many people born without natural leadership skills that can still become good leaders i am the opinion that some are born with the qualities of a good leader is more productive. Task 1: The graph below shows the percentage of people in different age groups in one city who attended music concert between 2010 and 2015. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. The line graph illustrates the proportion of people in a specific city who participated in a music concert within a timespan of 5 years, commencing from 2010. Overall, all ages showed an upward trend except for the 55-64 age group. In addition, younger people tended to go to concerts more often. In 2010, the percentage of concert-goers aged 16 to 24 stood at 40%, which was nearly 4 times higher than that of people aged 50 and over ( around 10%). The figure for the former group then saw a gradual rise to 60% in 2012 and ended the period at the highest point of 70% in 2015. Similarly, the percentage of people aged 75 and older who took part in the music concert significantly increased to 20% in 2011, followed by a plunge to around 10% in the next 4 years before returning to the original level at the end of the period. The 25-44 and 55-64 age brackets displayed an inverse trend with the previous groups. Standing at roughly 52%, the proportion of 25 - to 44 - year-old concert-goers experienced a plummet to 40% in 2011, but then recovered to approximately 50% afterwards. Sharing the same pattern, there was a minimal growth from roughly 25% in 2010 to 30% in 2011 in the proportion of concert - goers falling into the 55 to 64 age group, intersecting with the younger group at 30% in 2013 and then fell to just over 20% in 2015. Meanwhile, starting at 40% in the first year, the proportion of 45 - to 54 year-olds slightly decreased to 32% in 2102, followed by a soar to nearly 50% at the end of the period.
