Prompt: In many parts of the world, some famous people are considered ‘role models’, and they are having an increasing influence on the young. Is this a positive or negative development? Many celebrities in many parts of the world have increasingly affected young people as they are regarded as exemplars. I believe this tendency has both benefits and drawbacks, depending on the character and behaviour of the well-known individuals involved. To begin with, certain renowned personalities, particularly those with ethical issues and without genuine talent, may negatively affect young people. As for the former, such negative role models can prompt many of the young to make poor decisions. Prime examples would be substance abuse or driving under the influence, behaviours that can cause impressionable young individuals to idolise and follow these misdeeds mistakenly. Furthermore, those figures who come to fame with no talent but scandal can promote a distorted perception of success in young people. This can be seen in the way that genuine talent, more often than not, is overlooked by notoriety and looks. As a result, the young can easily misunderstand the value of success and the means to achieve it. However, there are also celebrities who have served as a great source of inspiration and motivation for the young. Chief among these would be successful entrepreneurs such as Elon Musk, Steve Jobs, and Bill Gates, who can be considered muses for young people to constantly work hard and pursue self-growth. These pioneers have laid a foundation for the development of technology in the world through their perseverance and brilliant intellect. Additionally, some public figures who transfer meaningful messages through their work can inspire many to follow as well. A perfect example would be Ronaldo, one of the best football players in the world whose many world records, awards, and titles. His tenacity, motivation, and discipline have helped him to succeed on this sports field and inspired many other people, especially young fans. In conclusion, there is no ultimate answer to the question of whether the influence of famous individuals on the young is positive or negative. They can be detrimental for young people if these personalities are involved in immoral behaviour or if they lack authentic talent. Conversely, leading entrepreneurs and inspiring athletes who have substantial contributions to society generally have a positive impact. Some say that because many people are living much longer, the age at which people retire from work should be raised considerably. To what extend do you agree or disagree? In contemporary society, human beings’ lifespan is continuously extending. This has led to the question of whether the retirement age should be expanded simultaneously to balance the issue. Personally, I firmly oppose the notion of raising the age of retirement. On the one hand, some may argue that the idea of retaining old-age workers can be considered necessary owing to their wide horizon. Without a doubt, the older generation, those who have accumulated a great deal of knowledge and experience after decades of contributing to the workforce, would take precedence over their amateur counterparts. Additionally, another primary factor lies in the budget for pensions. In fact, if humankind’s life expectancy keeps widening while the age for retirement remains unchanged, a handsome pension may be inevitably required to pay for retiring workers. Undoubtedly, raising the retirement age can be an economic decision for later purposes including renovating facilities and purchasing up-to-date equipment, which in turn leads to an enhancement in productivity and accuracy of the working procedure. On the other hand, one compelling rationale advocating the unchanged retirement age can be mentioned in terms of humanitarian. Noticeably, the old-age labor force has spent more than half of their whole life contributing to the national economy. Hence, the period of retirement can be a sign of not only validating their devotion but also averting the matter of abuse. Also, the old-age people are conservative about their conventional working methods and less likely to adapt to changing technology. As a result, making use of modern equipment and many efficient ways of practice can be a big challenge for them. Thus, replacing them with a younger labor force who can easily come up with pragmatic approaches can facilitate better outcomes in this ever-changing world. In conclusion, while raising the retirement age can serve as a plausible solution to the concern of increasing lifespan, I firmly believe the unchanged age for retiring can potentially uphold humanitarian and flexibility in this fast-paced developing world. In their view, legal policies from governments are the sufficient approach to grow up recycling. While I believe that governments should impose recycling regulations on families, legislation alone may not be enough to cause a meaningful shift in recycling behaviour. To start, laws and regulations regarding household recycling play a crucial role in reducing the amount of home garbage. As we can see, recycling rates are far higher in countries where it is compulsory, such as Germany or Belgium, than in those where it is not. As a result, rules can ensure that everyone contributes to rubbish reduction while also providing a defined structure for recycling. Such legal measures can act as a powerful motivator, encouraging individuals to prioritize recycling in their daily lives or pausing or mitigating the trend of using disposable items such as plastic bags or non-rechargeable batteries, ultimately curbing the amount of domestic waste. On the other hand, it is essential to recognize that the success of recycling initiatives goes beyond legislation alone. Raising public knowledge of the importance of recycling and its good environmental impact can result in a more significant and long-lasting shift in people's behaviours. Educational programs can highlight the costs of excessive waste generation as well as the benefits of recycling, inspiring people to take proactive efforts toward appropriate waste management. Governments can work with educational institutions, media outlets, and community organizations to raise awareness about recycling and sustainable waste management techniques. In this day and age, the strategy to balance between work and life is to reduce timework from 7 or 8 to 4 days per week, while some challenges and demerits are influenced not only for governments but also for civilians. In this essay, I will discuss both points of view and give my opinion on this issue. On the one hand, begin with the positive aspects of a four-day work week. It can improve work-life balance to obtain better employee well-being. For example, in a study, if engineers, doctors, and teachers do not have enough time to relax because they work all day, their health may suffer a significant decline. So working along with entertainment activities such as playing sports, participating in concerts, and communicating with friends and parents prevents diseases in terms of mental or physical health such as coughs, headaches, or being almost exhausted. Furthermore, this strategy can enhance productivity because of a more rested workforce. Granted, some jobs may not take it up, like doctors, due to curing patients. However, others need free time to recover their energy and continue contributing to their workplace. For instance, by taking out 3 days per week, street-cleaning workers have time to spend with their families and then return with efficiency and productivity in the latest four days. On the other hand, shift focus to the potential drawbacks. It can be seen that there are possible challenges in customer service and business continuity. Some financial companies, such as banks, if their staff rests for 3 days, lose customers but must pay for annual operational costs and then go bankrupt. Admittedly, companies can cope with difficulties in coordinating with businesses and services operating on a traditional schedule. In particular, a wide variety of facilities that run into after-stop operations follow this idea. For example, water dumps need human to operate, which is difficult to adjust to not be harmful for nearby If a sudden stoppage occurs during resting-related time in 3 days in this infrastructure, they can lack the energy to maintain their lives, and then companies lose much more money as a result of the failed cooperation of other sides because they cannot facilitate residents' needs. Overall, it has some advantages, such as work-life balance and strengthening the activity; however, it can also bring about some disadvantages, such as bankruptcy or unsuccessful collaboration with business. In current, It is obvious to notice the appearance of many children with special gift in specific field such as sport or music. However, some has thought if the normal kids receive the good education, they will literally become an ideal person. It has been a prevalent and controversial debate for recent years. Therefore, this essay will elaborate further on both points and state my perspectives. On one hand, there are some people are born with the gift as an outstanding physical outcome, which helps them can deal with some stuff less hard than other one. Perhaps, it can be perfect ears that help to identify and distinguish different sounds precisely or strong legs that may run with noticaeble speech. In contrast, that number of special people is only accounting for small group of world’s population. Particularly, the normal people may not mean that they lose more opportunities than the talent one. Indeed, if the gifted person did not learn and pratise their talent frequently, they could not make it become their skills and be a famous sport person or musician. The good instruction plays a remarkable role in the succeed of children’s transformance of who they want to be. This is because most of offspring is highly susceptible to influence by the right guidance, which also bring out the clear direction for them to focus on and enhance themselves. Additionally, any child, who is willing to consume as much as time and effort, is all potential to make their own position in a certain field. In many cities, problems related to overpopulation are becoming more common. Some governments are now encouraging businesses and individuals to move out of cities to rural areas. What are the advantages and the disadvantages of this trend?

In recent times, due to the population explosion, the outcome of overpopulation become a prevalent and controversial topic. Some governments and local authorities are motivating residents and businesses to move to the rural regions to settle down and establish houses, factories, companies, and so on. I believe that while there are a few benefits of settling down in rural areas, the drawbacks are greater significant. Both the advantages and disadvantages together with relevant examples will be explained carefully in this essay. There are several drawbacks to living in separated regions. First and foremost, it is difficult to connect with the outside world. Rural areas offer poor-quality Internet connection owing to far distance from modern society. For example, very few network providers set up their Internet stations in rural places, as a result, people may find it challenging to access the Internet, and social platforms. Another drawback is the inconvenience in travelling. The public means of transport and vehicles has not been developed yet, which will make it harder to go to any place. To give a personal example, I am living in my hometown, which is a rural district in Vietnam, and it always takes almost an hour to wait for a bus, which fosters the feeling of disappointment and annoyance. Despite the negatives mentioned above, moving to is a positive development for various reasons. One of the main reasons is that it helps to alleviate the pollution in the overpopulated regions in many countries. For further explanation, it is apparent that overpopulated areas will be more contaminated than rural ones because there are more factories, and industries established there, which produce a large amount of exhaust fumes and chemicals. Also, more citizens who are living in crowded places will certainly contribute to much more carbon dioxide and household waste. Fewer inhabitants and industries will produce less industrial and domestic waste, which will make the environment in overpopulated areas become cleaner.
