It is sometimes believed that books should be replaced by using film, games and computer divides in schools. This essay strongly agrees with this suggestion as now will be discussed.
The first argument behind this is that using technology in the lesson of class can bring many positive effects for students. Chief among these is that students would not have to search particularly information in textbooks. This is because the high-tech appliance can help them to access information or websites like Google, Chrome, thereby allowing individuals to search for the right information you need faster than using a book. Evidence for this can be seen in Japan where, thanks to the introduction of such facilities, their children can save a lot of their time and spend this time learning many aspects of their lives.
Another point worth mentioning is that children will get entertainment while doing study since many of them think that studying through books is boring. The explanation for this is that they can enjoy their favorite films or games when they feel bored during the lesson. This enjoyment encourages them to have a time to relax and chill, thereby helping them to reduce their stress and have a motivation to continue studying. If there is continued learning through textbooks, it makes individuals unexciting with their learning. This lack of excitement has a negative effect on education systems, which creates a not good workforce for the economic market.
In conclusion, I totally agree that schools should use films, computers and games to help children in their study and life given the aforementioned arguments.

Some people say it is more important to plant trees in the open spaces in towns and cities than to build more housing. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
It is believed that planting trees in the open spaces in towns and cities plays an important role compared to building more housing. While I accept that this is still essential to build more housing, I opine that planting trees should be prioritized.
Admittedly, there are several explanations for the fact that building more housing might improve the quality of people's lives. It is because the constructions of social-housing might mitigate the increase of crime. It can be explained that without enough reasonably-priced homes, low-income workers might not afford to rent or live in accommodations which cost prohibitively. As a result, they tend to become homeless and more slums will gradually exist within the city where the government cannot control completely; therefore, the increase of crimes will pose a threat to other residents. However, authorities can take some steps to mitigate this problem by constructing some high-rise buildings containing numerous citizens; thus, there are more spaces to build other public facilities to serve the demand of people.
On the other hand, I firmly hold the view that the government should concentrate on tree planting than housing construction. One of the advantages of this initiative is air pollution improvement. Planting more trees around the city might help absorb pollutants from factories and transportation and it also releases oxygen, creating a more purified atmosphere, which results in the positive effect of residents’ overall well-being. Moreover, trees planted in specific areas tend to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the city. Besides the pack of high-rise buildings and a crowd of transports along the streets, the presence of green spaces such as botanical gardens or parks will help cities become more harmonious among not only the citizens but also other visitors.
In conclusion, while some people argue the authorities should give the priority for building housing, I firmly believe that it is advisable to place an importance on planting trees.

Some maintain that adolescents ought to have an equal learning for all subjects at school, while others believe that they should spend almost all their time pursuing some subjects, which make them interesting, or even excellent at those subjects. so I will discuss with this essay two reasons why I follow up the former.
On the one hand, the idea of concentrating on a few subjects is the best choice for some reasons. This is explained by the fact that younger people gain in-depth experience and knowledge about related-subjects which they have been pursuing instantly. As a consequence, they become masters in some particular subjects and have a huge livelihood of chances to thoroughly understand those characteristics. For example, teenagers who are always learning some subjects which they feel enthusiastic about or are good at will get an accurate job following up their pathway.
On the other hand, the balance of learning all subjects should be paid more attention by adolescents. This is because they have more chances to be open-minded about multi subjects. As a result, younger people feel confident to deal with most issues of many situations and communicate with other people. Moreover, they improve flexibility in different subjects by applying these subjects in others without their suitable subjects which they like.
In conclusion, pursuing some subjects which make teenagers interested is a great choice due to having an in-depth knowledge, whereas I maintain that they should concentrate on all subjects since they can open their brain. I predicted that schools need to add multiple programmes in adolescents' curriculum to help them have general knowledge about those and better prepare them for the challenges in the future.

Most people try to balance between their work and other parts of lives. Unfortunately, not many achieve this balance. Why? Solutions?
It is sadly true that although people nowadays realise the importance of work-life balance, they could not achieve it. There are various reasons why this phenomenol happens, and some steps should be taken to mitigate it.
On the one hand, there are two main factors which can be blamed for the failure in reaching the balance between work and life. Firstly, people is living under the influence of financial pressure. They tend to feel scared as they think of how difficult their lives are if they stop working, especially in current mordern era where almost everyting becomes extremely expensive. Therefore, they would strike for working with a huge workload regardless time for the purpose of earning as much money as possible, leading to the shortage of time spent for family and friends. Secondly, household responsibility aslo makes a significant contribution to this loss of balance. Taking Vietnam as an example, the majority of both people having children have to spend a considerable amount of their time on taking care of their children after they finish their work, and as a result, they lack relaxation.
This issue must be solved. One of the most impactful methods is that modifying people's workstyle. They would consider multitasking. For example, they could make the most of the time used to wait for buses to check their email. Doing so will help them save a substantial amount of time in order to foster their bonds, which they are unable to do when they are tremendously busy. Another way is that family members should share domestic duties to lighten the burden they have to bear. If they did this practice successfully, they would have a chance to relax themselves. Thus, the work-life balance seems to become a possibility that everyone could gain.
In conclusion, although the pressure of finance and domestic duties hinder people from achieving work-life balance, they could be resolved by multitasking and sharing the responsibility of household.

The line chart illustrates how many tonnes of three major oil categories were produced in a European country between 1981 and 2000. Overall, there were increases in the amounts of petroleum and natural gas produced, while the opposite was true for those of coal over the period. Additionally, petroleum remained by far the highest in the production amounts, while natural gas was produced the least for most of the period.
Looking first at petroleum, its amounts produced started at just under 100 tonnes, then inclined rapidly to about 130 tonnes in 1983 and levelled off until 1987, before falling to its initial level in 1989 and hitting the trough at around 90 tonnes in 1991. From here, it grew significantly and peaked at approximately 135 tonnes in 1998, followed by a gradual decline to end the period at 120 tonnes in 2000.
Regarding coal, 80 tonnes of this type of fuel were produced in the first four years, after which the production plummeted to roughly 50 tonnes and quickly recovered to around 70 tonnes in the next two years. In the following years, the amount of coal produced went down progressively to end the period at 40 tonnes.
Lastly, the natural gas produced amounts stabilized at 40 tonnes until 1991, with a subsequent dramatic rise to just over 80 tonnes in the final year, after overtaking the figures for coal at about 50 tonnes in 1997.

The first specimen, Tool A, is relatively flat when viewed from its side profile. An immediately noticeable attribute is that the front and the back do not match, with the latter having a markedly smaller surface area than the former. The shape of the tool is not defined, though there is a clear pointier end and a wider end. In terms of the surface, Tool A is still quite rough and uneven.
Tool B is considerably more advanced than Tool A. It is still flat, but the shapes of the front and back align much better than they used to in the past. Overall, it is evident that classes having 21-25 students was the most common among 4 types of classes with the exception of South Australia where classes under 20 students were used most. However, there are fewer classes having more than 30 students.
In 2010, classes with 21-25 students in Australian Capital Territory accounted for 51%, which was half of all others, followed by those under 20 students with 38%. However, the class’s capacity of 26-30 students was nearly a quarter compared to the second most popular ones and there was a negligible proportion of classes containing more than 30 students. While the predominant and the least chosen class sizes in Western Australia were still 21-25 students and more than 30 students, at 42% and 5% respectively, an equal amount was seen in classes under 20 and 26-30 students, around 27%.
Regarding other regions, a slight trend was seen in New South Wales where classes having 21-25 was the most popular, and it accompanied those with 26-30 students and fewer than 20 to record the same total proportions of Western Australia with the overall figure, ranging from 26% to 37%. In South Australia, the percentage of classes under 30 students ranged from 28% to 35%, while those with the maximum of 20 students occupied the highest percentage. The figures for the largest size in both states were the same, only 4%.

Another one is not ensuring the quality of products. When we buy online , we can not interact and test products before these products are delivered at home . So it can lead to consumers dissatisfied with the quality or fit of items and waste a lot of money for items that are not suitable for them.
Despite the discourse above, there is more persuasive evidence supporting why the advantages outweigh the disadvantages .First of all, shopping online is highly convenient . Many people today are very busy so they hardly have any time to buy things in stores . As a result , online shopping is suitable for them. When we need to buy some items , instead of going to the store and ordering it , now we can stay at home and buy everythings within a few mouse clicks . Furthermore , this method can help us save money . This is because when buying online, we can search and compare the prices of similar products from different ecommerce platforms .And therefore , we can choose and buy the cheaper and more suitable ones for shelf. On the other hand, I believe that many pressing issues should be distributed with much money from the government. To begin with, the authorities should consider investing a large amount of spend to mitigate some social difficulties, which affect human well-being such as poverty, low quality of the education or healthcare system. As a result, they will ensure the sustainable development of the country and create a well-rounded community. Furthermore, climate change and global warming are also significant concerns as these environmental problems are threatening people’s survival. Indeed, in order to boost the national economy, the country must possess ample employees to carry out numerous jobs, thus retaining old-age workers can be considered necessary. In addition, if humankind’s lifespan keeps soaring while the retirement age remains unchanged, it may require a handsome pension paid for workers. Consequently, the budget used for other purposes including facility renovations or purchasing up-to-date equipment may be insufficient.
On the other hand, there are compelling rationales advocating the unchanged age of retirement. In terms of humanitarian, it can be noticed that workers spend more than half of their whole lives contributing to the national economy. Their sacrifice for their country’s prosperity is considerable, hence a long period with a rewarding pension can also be a validation for their hard work and dedication, as well as a budget for them to enjoy life after an industrious time. Another factor for this view lies in the continuously advancing technology. In fact, conveyors, robotics technology, and other autonomous machines gradually reduce the dependence of the labor force. Specifically, many stages in producing and regulating can be carried out by state-of-the-art technology with higher accuracy, productivity, and better timesaving. Therefore, the global economy may not be considerably affected when there is less involvement of the old-age labor force.
In conclusion, while raising the retirement age can serve as a solution to the concern of increasing lifespan, I firmly advocate my viewpoints that without this measure, the humanitarian can be constantly upheld. Also, advanced technology has made the problem easier to encounter.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?
There is a school of thought that we are spending a huge amount of time and resources protecting wild animals and birds. In my view, I completely disagree with this opinion because I suppose that they deserve this preservation and it is never enough.
On the one hand, it seems to me that wild animals should be received the protection due to two major reasons. Firstly, they have direct influences on humans' lives. If they became extinct, the biodiversity of the Earth would be lost, as well as the destruction of ecosystem, which is more likely to result in natural disasters such as flood and hurricane, making the lives of humans get worse. Secondly, preserving wild animals and birds well could bring economic benefits through tourism. Taking Safari in Africa as an example, with numerous swarms of lions and elephants protected in wildlife environment, local residents earn millions of dollars per year from visitors and jobs created by this model.
On the other hand, I claim that wild animals' conservation appears to be yet adequate. This is because these efforts are by far smaller than the damage human cause to both animals and their habitats. For centuries, people hunt wild animals for food, fur or even fun, destroy forests, their habitats, for agriculture rentlessly, leading to the extinction of them. Although people nowadays realize that their actions harm for wild animals and start making effort to restore and save them, it is quite late since some rare species disappear and there is no way to bring them back. Therefore, I think we could not make compensate fully for what wild animals suffer.
In conclusion, I hold a strong belief that the investment in the protection of wild animals and birds is extremely necessary and never excess.

This is obviously true of some brands which use household names to boost the sales of their products. An effective method for the government to implement is that there should be restriction on those advertisements. By doing this, the authorities can easily supervise the content of those advertising and deter them from providing misleading information alike. As a consequence, some regulations must be put on this industry.
Another reason for the profound influence of advertising on people’s buying decision is that some of them often aim at children. By creating homorous and lively advertisemts, the firms may attract attention from the young consumers, who usually persuade their parents for what they desire repetitively. In this way, children have become an effective saler for the companies. To mitigate this problem, the governmet could prohibit advertisements that intentionally aimed at children. For instance, if there were strict policy on fast food’s advertising, there would be a considerable dip in this harmful food consumption. To commence with, the first positive impact of exploring space is that humankind may find the alternative planets which support lives. To illustrate, the fast population growth and pollution has renderred the Earth be not as appropriate for living as before, which spurs people to find a new place for shelter. Therefore, financing in space exploration is beneficial in terms of looking for a livable planet. Another gain is that being knowlegable about the universe is synonymous with enhancing life security. Studying about space offers people with information about the likely outer-space disasters, thus, people can prevent them before the occurrence of these. For example, by devoting money to space exploration, people may indicate the meteorite that possibly hits the Earth. As a consequence, a benefit of this is the preservence of life.
However, despite some aforementioned merits, there are some negative aspects such as other issues which are more urgent than exploring outside the Earth. In other words, education and healthcare service, which contribute to well being in general, are more vital for the citizens. This is particularly true in developing countries, where investing in this realm is relatively unfeasible and exhorbitant. Therefore, other necessities may deter space exploration. Another drawback is that exploring space may be a culprit behind pollution. If this trend transpired in a global scale, the Earth’s atmosphere would be significantly contaminated, hence the detrimental impact on people’s health. Subsequently, pollution is a downside of this.

In the middle of the library, there were two sets of tables and chairs, on the left and right of which were two respective sections for fiction and non-fiction books for adults. Twenty years later, the tables and chairs have been removed, and the fiction genre section has been changed to exhibit books of all references. Meanwhile, the adult fiction section remained intact, with an information desk and three self-service machines having been newly added.
Finally, there was a room for CDs, videos, and computer games in the far left corner of the entrance, while on the other side was a room exhibiting only books for children. After 20 years, the former has been slightly expanded, with the replacement of merchandise with children’s fiction books and the addition of two new sofas for storytelling events. Meanwhile, children’s books in the latter have been removed and changed into a room for teaching.
