The drawing gives information about how pineapples are cultivated and processed into different kinds of products. Overall, there are two main stages in the production of pineapples, the process of planting pineapples and how which are proceeded into a beverage, a canned food and exported goods. In addition, it can be seen that this diagram involves both natural and man-made elements. In terms of the farming process, pineapples are grown in a spacing of 26cm between each plant and the temperature is about between 28 and 30 degrees Celsius. After seven months, ethylene is introduced into the plants, after which they continue to grow in a five month period until being ready for harvest. To reach full maturity, pineapples should reach 30 cm in height and 2 kg in weight. Regarding the production process, harvested pineapples are washed with water prior to classifying into different sizes. Subsequently, the smallest and medium-size fruits are processed to remove leaves and outer rind. While the former pineapples are then put into an extractor to produce juice, the latter are cut into slices or smaller chunks, both of which are then canned. In contrast, the larger pineapples are left uncut and simply coated in wax, then placed in a crate before being exported overseas. The drawing gives information about how pineapples are cultivated and processed into different kinds of products. If old people are no longer physically, mentally or financially able to look after themselves, younger family members should be legally responsible for supporting them. To what extent do you agree or disagree? It is believed that young family members should legally look after for elderly people who are no longer physically, mentally or financially capable of caring for themselves. From my point of view, I partially disagree with the legitimately compulsory responsibilities of taking care of the elders by only the youth. On the one hand, there are two main reasons why young individuals should support their old relatives. First and foremost, this is a tradition which is deeply rooted in cultural norms, particularly the concept of filial piety. In fact, in Asian societies, there exists a strong belief that it is the moral duty of children to care for their aging parents. This highlights the profound respect and gratitude children own to their parents. Second, thanks to receiving support from their offspring, the emotional well-being of elderly individuals would be enhanced. Similarly, old people tend to feel lonely, so they would like to have an interaction with their own family members instead of using caring services. On the other hand, from my perspective, I suppose that the responsibility of looking after old individuals should not solely depend on the youth. The first reason is that there is a compulsory contribution of taxes by resident's income. Therefore, elderly inhabitants should receive privileges after retirement such as pension or accommodation supplying services from the authorities. Another reason is that in some cases, there are parents who horribly mistreat their children, which is unfair to the children to have to care for their parents in these situations. Furthermore, each family has a different circumstance, so it is not effective to introduce legislation appropriate for all. In fact, there are some young individuals just able to care for themselves because of insufficient financial capacity. Consequently, imposing a law of looking after old people by the government may put a huge financial burden on these young people. In conclusion, I believe that family traditions and cultural values about taking care of the elderly should be preserved. However, imposing it as a mandatory law is unreasonable because it should be adjusted according to each family's circumstances, and the state also has a part of responsibility to ensure the lives of the elderly. If old people are no longer physically, mentally or financially able to look after themselves, younger family members should be legally responsible for supporting them. The table illustrates changes in demographic expansion, average fertility rate, and expected longevity at birth in nations stratified into three distinct levels of income for the years 2000 and 2004. Overall, there was an inverse relationship between the income levels and both the demographics and average birth per woman, along with an incremental rise in the anticipated years of life across three national categories. Regarding demographic growth, both countries with high and low income saw decreases, with a greater extent for the latter, from 0.8% and 2%, respectively in the previous year to 0.7% and 1.8%, in that order in the subsequent year. Despite such changes, these countries remained the lowest and the highest growth in population. Conversely, middle-income countries experienced stabilisation at 0.9% over the period. Concerning fertility rates, the figure for high-income countries remained the lowest and unchanged at 1.7 children per woman, compared to those for the middle- and low-level ones, witnessing the same decline level of 0.1, from 2.2 and 3.9 in 2002 and 2.1 and 3.8 in 2004. As for life expectancy, in 2002, the high-income group were expected to live for the longest, up to 78 years at birth, while their low-income counterparts were the opposite (maximum 58 years), and 69 years for the middle-income ones. In the next 2 years, individuals in all three national divisions were anticipated to live nearly 1 year longer from birth, with the respective figures being approximately 79, 70, and 59 years. The bar chart illustrates the American household numbers of five different annual income ranges in 2007, 2011, and 2015. Overall, the lowest number of households was within the $75000-$99999 bracket in all the three years examined, while that of the highest income group generally dominated and changed the most over the course. Regarding households earning no more than $49999 per year, the quantity of those making less than $25000 per year was consistently lower than that of the $25000-$49999 cohort over the timeframe. Specifically, in 2007, the former accounted for a quarter billion households, about 2 million lower than the latter, both then increased to 29 and 30 million, respectively in 2011, before decreasing to 28 and 29 million, in that order in 2015. Concerning the two next income bands, while the number of families earning $50000-$74999 annually stabilised at just over one-fifth billion over the period, that of the $75000-$99999 group fell minorly from just below 15 million in the first year to 14 million in the middle year and recovered to 15 million in the last year. As for the range exceeding $100000, almost 30 million families fell within this range in 2007, which was the highest, with a subsequent marginal decline to approximately 28 million over the next 4 years, and peaked at roughly 33 million in 2011, surpassing its initial level to remain the highest group. In some countries the average weight of people is increasing and their levels of health and fitness are decreasing. What do you think are the causes of these problems and what measures could be taken to solve them? ANSWER: In some countries, the number of people becoming overweight has increased and their health conditions and fitness level are declining. In this essay, I will discuss some reasons why people are fat, weak physical condition, and the solutions for these problems. The reason is that a lot of people consume too much fast food. Most foreigners in some countries such as America, France, Canada are overweight because these are the countries that consume the most fast food in the world. Fast food contains fat and sugar so that they will cause obesity. Moreover, people do not work out regularly because of not having much time, so energy is not released, fat accumulates in the body for a long time and as a result, people's health will be affected. Aside from that, not getting enough sleep and enduring a lot of pressure is one of the factors that cause obesity, stress hormones release and that will increase appetite and weight gain. There are many ways to solve these problems. One of them is that people should have a suitable diet. For example, they need to eat more vegetables and fruits, and avoid consuming too much fat or sugar. In addition, try to have exercises at least 2 times a week, do not stay up late and avoid pressure to ensure good health and fitness. To sum up, many people nowadays have problems about their bodies and health conditions because of bad habits. These problems will be solved if they change their unhealthy lifestyles and therefore their health is improved. Essay prompt: Today, the high sales of popular consumer goods reflect the power of advertising and not the real needs of the society in which they are sold. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience. Write at least 250 words. n the digital era, there is a fairly common trend that advertising is gradually becoming popular in our lives. Consumers are captivated by advertisements and ultimately decide to spend money on them, which leads us to progressively purchase unnecessary items. I quite disagree with the above opinion and think that it really still comes from the needs of the people. Since advertising is growing, it might be a useful tool for facilitating users' easier and more engaging access to recently introduced items. It is undeniable that sometimes clients will be attracted by popular trends and then purchase products that are not really necessary. For example, phone companies still release new phone models which are praised for being more modern and stylish. As a result, there are many customers' phones that still work very well but are replaced by iPhone 15 and 16. This explains the increase in annual sales of big businesses such as Samsung and Apple. On the other hand, I believe that there are numerous reasons for this purchasing, not only for advertising alone. New versions of the product probably still provide convenient and truly necessary features for many people, so they decide to buy them. Moreover, there are many people who decide to buy because the price is more affordable than before. A typical example is that e-commerce platforms like Shopee or Lazada often have promotional programs with product discounts on holidays and anniversaries. In conclusion, it is certain that advertising has effective strategies to attract buyers, but I still believe that people will not spend money on things they do not need to own. Cyclists and car drivers sharing the same road might cause some problems. What are the problems? What could be done to solve those problems? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience. There is a common problem among traffic participants including bikers and car users when these two users use a joint lane. This issue can be attributed to many reasons, and it can be solved by the implementation of these following measures. Using the same road might cause traffic participants a range of issues. The leading cause of the problem can be associated with the limited road space, which cause the traffic congestion. Roads are often not wide enough to accommodate both cyclists and car users; therefore, vehicle users are inclined to encroaching on the other side of the road. As a result, it would cause accident because of the one who suddenly change the route without giving signs for the left users. As both cyclists and drivers cannot anticipate each other’s movements, miscommunication and unpredictability can easily happened, which later lead to conflicts, and even worse, accidents for both of them. Another problem may occur between drivers and bikers when sharing the same road is the safety risks due to speed differences. Cars move significantly fast, whereas bicycle users move so slow that may create a high risk of accidents for them. Many situations where the bike users got pressed by the drivers; as a result, they fall off their bikes and hit the ground. Therefore, it is essential to ensure safety on shared roads for both cyclist and drivers. However, this issue could be resolved by adopting several solutions. First, congestion happens due to inade road space for traffic participants; therefore, the government should develop dedicated bike land for cyclists. By doing so, they will have their own space to move around, which may ease the congestion. For instance, cities like Copenhagen has already provided cyclists with separate lane, which reduces traffic bottlenecks considerably. Furthermore, in order to resolve issues occured due to the differences in speed, the government should implement speed regulations zone. With areas that are frequented by both cyclist and drivers, they could enforce speed limits in there to lower the risk of accidents. Thus, slower speeds can ensure safer coexistence between drivers and cyclists. In conclusion, if sharing road space cause problems for both car users and cyclists, then measurements should be taken by both individuals and government to resolve this issue. Cyclists and car drivers sharing the same road might cause some problems. What are the problems? What could be done to solve those problems? Whether or not a person achieves their aims in life is mostly related to luck. To what extent do you agree or disagree? There is an ongoing debate about whether the primary determinant of success in achieving goals is luck. Although I believe that luck is one of the factors attributed to people’s achievements, I firmly disagree with this statement since there are other elements that are much more significant. Admittedly, fortune plays an essential part in contributing to the success of a person. First, a successful business is often considered a matter of luck. For instance, individuals who start business in unexpected situations such as economic depression and Covid-19 pandemic must bear a huge amount of losses or even close their business. In contrast, those who operate their business at the right time with the right people easily achieve their targets. Second, whether achieving good academic results is sometimes thanks to luck. For example, students may pass an exam with high scores if they have previously prepared for similar topics. Another example is that high scores on multiple-choice exams can be achieved through random selection of correct choices rather than possessing knowledge of the answers. Nevertheless, I suppose that there are two important factors that mostly affect people's achievements. First and foremost, substantial effort is necessary to accomplish significant achievements. In fact, unless students strive for their academic pursuits, they will not achieve good results in the long run based solely on luckiness. Secondly, the attainment of goals requires a high level of determination. In other words, Individuals need to spend a large amount of time to enlarge their knowledge so that they will have a good qualification as well as necessary skills. As a result, they will have a decent job since they make an effort and dedication for a long time. In conclusion, the influence of luck on success cannot be dismissed. However, I contend that hard work and patience hold greater importance in the pursuit of goals. Whether or not a person achieves their aims in life is mostly related to luck. Đề bài:The growing number of overweight people is putting a strain on the health care system in an effort to deal with the health issues involved. Some people think that the best way to deal with this problem is to introduce more physical education lessons in the school curriculum. To what extent do you agree or disagree? In the modern age, it is true that the increasing prevalence of obesity is put pressure on the health care systems as they contend with associated health challenges.Several individuals advocate that adding physical education classes in school curricula as an effective solution to address this issue.in my opinion, I wholeheartedly agree with this viewpoint and my rationales will be explained in this essay. By incorporating more sports classes into the curriculum as well as encouraging extracurricular sports activities, they will undoubtedly become fitter, enthusiastic and more active.Firstly, physical education promote a healthy lifestyle from a young age by instilling habits of doing physical exercise regularly. The person who participating in outdoor activity early are more likely to continue these practices into adulthood, thus reducing the risk of obesity and other related health issues.Secondly,by providing insight knowledge with align practice , physical education not only a holistic health by Increasing muscle density, blood circulation and endurance but also enhancing brain function.Sciencetifically, this is explained because exercises help stimulate protein production in the body, which considered as a factor that stimulates the growth of nerve cells and enhances cognition. Admittedly, If physical education is not introduced in school curricula, there are various detrimental effects that would occur and seriously influence numerous aspects.First and foremost, many students will spend time for playing video game or explore virtual world instead of doing exercise, beyond encountered with asthenia, they can also easily suffer from eye diseases and psychological disorders such as nearsightedness and depression.Secondly, the health system will also face many complex problems such as lack of human resources and running out of medicine. The increase in patients means that the number of doctors and drugs must increase to care for patients, while facilities and skilled doctors in most countries cannot serve the demand. Some people believe that everyone has a right to have access to university education and that governments should make it free for all students no matter what financial background they have. To what extent do you agree or disagree. In today’s world, it is widely perceived that citizens should be given a chance to go to university freely instead of paying the tuition fees. Personally, I am wholeheartedly opposed to this position. There are numerous reasons why this argument should be opposed, one of which is the labor market competitiveness enhancement. To be more specific, if the free - college policy is being prompt, there will appear a majority of college qualifications. As a result, the acquisition of a tertiary degree would not be considered as a prominent factor supporting bachelor’s degree holder in landing higher - paid jobs. This would therefore lead to the increase of the competitiveness in the job market. Another justification is that waive tuition could impact negatively on the economy. In other words, since the enormous amount of money would be incurred to cover higher education tuition, this would in turn put a strain on government coffers, result in budget deficit, tax hikes, or reduced welfare among others. While some may contend that the provision of free - of - charge education would result in a rich variety of highly - educated workforce, from my perspective, this notion might be failed to outweigh the accompanying drawbacks and losses. As such, it may be preferable to maintain the status quo. Đề bài: The diagram shows the five main writing systems in the world Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features. Bài làm: The diagram illustrates the main characteristics of five different writing systems worldwide, listed as Logographic, Abjad, Abjuda, Alphabetic, and Syllabic. As per the presentation in the illustration, Logographic are writing systems that share the same alphabet but differentiate in pronunciations, typically known as Japanese and Chinese. In addition, Japan is also one of the countries using Syllabic writing, a method in which every character represents a syllable. On the other hand, Abjad, Abjuda, and Alphabetic systems are based on the sounds each word makes. Abjad is notably the first sound-based system in which every character indicates a consonant sound. Indian Devanagari uses the Abjuda system: the combination of a consonant and a vowel makes up an Abjuda character. Lastly, Alphabetic, including English, commonly known for its mismatch in pronunciation and spelling, has characters that are formed from one sound (vowel or consonant). Overall, close-range regions generally have similar word formation processes and most of them are based on sounds. Em cảm ơn thầy cô. Em chào thầy cô, dưới đây là bài Writing Task 2 của em, em rất mong có thể được thầy cô chấm chữa ạ. Em cảm ơn thầy cô rất nhiều. Đề bài: **The importance of biodiversity is being more widely recognized as increasing numbers of species come under threat. What can be done to maintain biodiversity?** Bài làm: As an increasing number of species are on the edge of extinction, biodiversity has become a concerning problem for human society. There are multiple possible causes including deforestation, strip mining, poaching, and so on. However, the solution to this problem remains a conundrum. Individuals do not have the resources and power to solve the problem, therefore, first of all, governments should encourage environmental policies throughout their countries. Consider that most of the time, the reason for sabotaging the environment is for financial advantages. The government could enforce financial charges on illegal environment-related activities such as poaching or clearcutting. In addition, to be able to handle the situation properly, the felony has to be detected on time and penalized fairly. Pollution from several sources listing as industry and consumer waste is another major reason that leads to the loss of habitats and biodiversity. A large quantity of industry waste is being released into nature without properly processing it every day. In regards to that, second of all, the government and organizations should cooperate to establish a stable waste treatment to reduce the unwanted effects of pollution on the floral and fauna habitats. Countries such as Japan and China are investing in waste processing technology and the effort has shown desirable results in their environment. On the other hand, developing and under-developed countries are having a hard time launching environmental laws and researching new technology because of capital shortages. Additionally, maintaining a sustainable economy also requires satisfaction with economic growth. To cope with these drawbacks, countries' leaders should work together for an ultimate generic solution. Preserving biodiversity is the responsibility of not only governments and organizations but also each individual. Although, the process might not be effective instantaneously, with the attempt to reduce the damage, animals, plants, humans and their next generations can benefit from a healthy and prosperous environment. Meanwhile, one-tenth of occupants in towns were from other countries, more than half lower than the rate of those residing in rural areas. In 2010, however, both figures saw a sharp fall to about 10% and just under this level, in that order. In terms of technology-related subjects listed as Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, foreign students outnumbered UK students. This is particularly true for Information Technology in which the percentage of international students was above 85% compares to less than 60% of national graduates. Similarly, the figures inclined to international students with a 20% gap in Electrical Engineering. Regarding Arts and Humanities and Social Science majors including English Literature, Art History, International Law and Sociology, the number of UK pupils pre-dominated. Both Art History and Sociology had 80% of UK students graduates with a second-class degree or higher and 70% and 75% abroad graduates respectively.
