Dạ nhờ thầy cô xem qua giúp em bài này ạ. Em cảm ơn nhiều ạ! The charts below give information on the ages of the populations of Yemen and Italy in 2000 and projections for 2050. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The pie charts compare population data based on three distinct age brackets in Yemen and Italy in 2000, along with future predictions for 2050. In general, changes in proportions of age groups are expected in both countries, including an increase in people over 60 years old and a decrease in children aged 0 to 14 by 2050. In 2000, children at the age of 0-14 constituted about half of Yemen’s population (50.10%), whereas only 14.30% of citizens were included in this category. Meanwhile, residents aged from 15 to 59 years old represented Italy’s largest age bracket at just over 60%, while in Italy, this group was slightly lower at 46.30%. In the same year, Yemen’s senior inhabitants made up less than 4% of its total population, compared to nearly a quarter of the Italian citizens (24.10%). In 2050, it is projected that the percentage of Yemen’s young children aged below 14 will go into a decline at 37%, compared to a marginal drop of about 3% in the same age group in Italy. The group of inhabitants from 15 to 59 years is expected to grow in Yemen by above 10% (57.3%) taking over two remaining age brackets, whereas in Yemen, it will be reduced by almost two-thirds with 46.2% of the nation’s population. Meanwhile, the proportion of over-60-year-old individuals in Yemen is anticipated to increase by a mere 2% at 5.7%, the figure for this category in Italy will double to 42.3%. Task 1: The charts below show the percentage of time working adults spent on different activities in a particular country in 1958 and 2008. The chart compares how much time was spent on various activities in a country between 1958 and 2008. Overall, time for sleeping and going out witnessed a downward trend. However, A converse trend was true for commuting, working, and relaxing at home. Meanwhile, the figure for other activities remained unchanged. In addition, working was the most prominent category over the period examined. In 1958, adults on average allocated 32% of the day to sleeping. However, in 2008, the figure slipped noticeably to 25%. Similar changes were recorded in going out, which was almost one-fifth in 1958, followed by a plummet to a minor 6% 150 years later, equal to that of other activities. In contrast, the percentage of day used for relaxing at home experienced a rise, from 8% in 1958 to 13% in 2008. With regard to the remaining tasks, 33% of the day was spent working in 1958, after which it continued to surge to 42%, stabilizing its highest position as the most time-consuming task. Similarly, traveling to work accounted for a negligible 2% of day in 1958, but then it increased fourfold to 8% by 2008. Dạ nhờ thầy cô xem qua giúp em bài Task1 này ạ. The pie chart shows the amount of money that a children’s charity located in the USA spent and received in 2016.
The charts illustrate how a non-profit organization in America collected and spent its funds in 2016. As can be seen, over a course of one year, the foundation obtained the majority of its funds from donated food while income from investment and other income, and government funds was significantly low. Additionally, the organization set aside most of its revenue to operating program services compared to a negligible amount of money for donating along with administration and general. To begin, in one year, 86.6% of takings for the children’s organization came from fundraised food, which was 8 times higher than the figure for local donations (10.4%). By contrast, regarding program provonuo, this category contributed to a mere 2% of revenue. Similarly, the figure for other income was at 0.4% along with investment income and government support sharing the same proportion of 0.2% In terms of spending, in 2016 the charity had to allocate nearly 96% of its budget to program services. On the other hand, the foundation spent merely 2.6% of its financial resources on donations and less than 1% of that on management and general expenses (1.6%). Additionally, by the end of the year, the total income of the charity was $53,561,580 which was just enough to cover its expenditures of $53,224,896, managing to save nearly $340,000. The diagrams below show the life cycle of the silkworm and the stages in the production of silk cloth. The given diagram illustrates the stages in the life of the silkworm and how to produce silk cloth. Overall, the life cycle of the silkworm consists of four stages, beginning with laying eggs and ending with becoming moth. Additionally, there are six stages in the process of producing silk cloth, from silk cocoon to silk material. Looking at the life cycle of the silkworm in more detail. Beginning at laying eggs, the moth lays a great number of eggs on a leaf. Ten days later, these eggs hatch into silkworm larvae, which consume mulberry leaves as their resource of food. Then, after four to six weeks, silkworm larvae become covered in silk thread, and a full cocoon is produced between three and eight days later. Finally, a moth appears from a cocoon, and the cycle begins anew. Turn into the producing diagram of silk cloth, we can see that the first stage of this process is selecting cocoons, which are then boiled in water in the second stage. After being boiled, the cocoon is unwound. Several strands of thread, whose length are from 300 to 900 metres, are then twisted together before being dyed. Otherwise, these twisted strands can be woven first and then dyed subsequently. The diagrams below show the life cycle of the silkworm and the stages in the production of silk cloth. The first diagram depicts the lifecycle of a honey bee, while the second diagram illustrates how to produce honey. Overall, there are several stages in the two processes, beginning with the queen bee laying eggs in a honeycomb and ending with distribution and selling honey to customers. Initially, bee eggs are laid in a honeycomb by the queen bee, and three days later a larve starts to emerge from the eggs. After a week, the larva has become fully developed and continues in that form for three more weeks. After this, the bee leaves the hive and gathers nectar from flowers, which is the first step of making honey. At the end of this stage, nectar is taken back to the hive and the honey appears. At this point, the honey production can begin. The first step is that the honeycomb is removed from the hive by the beekeeper, who then puts it into a machine to extract the honey. After the extraction process, the honey is boiled to make it clean. Having been boiled, the honey is poured into jars to preserve it for a long time. Finally, those jars are distributed and sold. The given diagram illustrates the process of collecting up-to-the-minute weather information, which is carried out by the Australian Bureau of Meteorology, with an aim to produce reliable forecasts. Overall, there are four main stages in the process including collecting incoming information, analysing and forecasting, preparing the broadcast, and broadcasting. Looking at the first and second stage in more detail, we can see that both of these stages consist of three way to collect, analyse, and forecast weather information. Firstly, incoming information can be receive by satellite, which is then presented as satellite photo, or passed to a radar station to show it on radar screen or synoptic chart to be analysed. The second way is to use radar to collect weather information directly and analyse it as the first one. Thirdly, the Australian can use drifting buoys and give information about the weather on synoptic chart. At the third stage of the process, the Australian prepare the weather broadcast on computers. Finally, the information about the weather is delivered to the public on television by newsreader, on the radio, or a recorded phone announcement. Question: The use of social media, such as Facebook and Twitter, is replacing face-to-face contact in everyday life. Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages of this development? Nowadays, the widespread use of social platforms is replacing face-to-face communication. While this development offers various benefits, its drawbacks might outweigh the advantages. On the one hand, there can be certain merits of using social platforms as a main means of communications rather than face-to-face interactions. One possible advantage is that individuals’ daily life become more convenient than before. The reason is that human contact can be easier through applications and thus, people might save time and money on arranging personal meetings. For instance, Facebook and Zalo, which are some well-known applications in Vietnam, enable overseas students to get in touch with their family. Another beneficial effect could be that users might broaden their specialized knowledge. In fact, online courses allow international learners to study at their own houses, thereby giving them more flexibility. Therefore, this is valuable to their cultural experiences due to connecting with citizens from many different countries. Nevertheless, the fact that online interactions are replacing direct communication can have major downsides which overshadow these positive effects. The most obvious issue could be that these platforms might be harmful to online users. More and more scammers exploit new technology, such as AI or voice imitation tools, so as to easily gain others’ trust. Specifically, tricksters may impersonate a police to ask listeners to pay fines for traffic offence with the intention of cheating them out of money. The second drawback is that spending too much time on screen is harmful to people’s health. Relying on social media contributes to the dominance of a sedentary lifestyle. As a result, lack of physical activity causes individuals to struggle with health problems, like obesity and cardiovascular diseases. In conclusion, while in-person interactions being replaced with the rise of social applications can be positive in some situations, this development can bring about some adverse impacts. Some people believe that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world. Others believe that some information is too important or too valuable to be shared freely. Discuss both these view and give your own opinion. While one school of thought holds that science research, market, and academic aspects should provide as much materials as they can, others are of the opinion that invaluable knowledge should not be exchanged easily. On the one hand, it is understandable why some propose scientific investigation, finance, and academic world related information should be shared freely. The primary reason behind this thinking is that knowledge is a treasure for humans to raise their living standards. Hence, it would be a golden opportunity for individuals to have access to logical and educational support from science and academic resources which play a pivotal role in revolutionizing their critical thinking, or to the economic values that they can get from business field’s information and learn how to live economically and work efficiently. Studocu, for instance, which is one of the free-charged websites of thousands of academic documents and research papers, was established to optimize uploading and downloading valuable files in a self-sufficient way. As a result, this website has had more than 1000000 accounts, showing that it can help people enhance their academic study and research process. On the other hand, I side with those who believe that these crucial and high-valued information should be private. Perhaps the foremost reason would be that it can cement the authority’s right. By charging or asking for permission to get the data, the author can ensure the equal of getting such knowledge which they may make a large amount of effort to possess or generate. To exemplify, Nha Nam – a renowned publisher of Vietnamese-translated scientific books – always be adept at keeping the translated versions of well-known books all over the world. They want the customers and avid readers to respect authors’ as well as translators’ grey matter. If they purchase books, they can acquire the contents that such products provide. This example underscores the indispensable role of publishing and reading books, which requires either a pay-to-read process or private-keeping policies. In conclusion, while there are justifications for advocating freely sharing scientific, business, and academic knowledge, I would contend that these information should not be yielded without permission or charging. This is because scientist’s and authors’ grey matter is extremely essential, and if we do not pay for them, we are not thinking highly of their utmost contribution. Some people believe that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant. The bar charts illustrate the summarized proportions of four genres of movies released and their ticket sales in 1996 and 2000 in a particular country. Overall, most categories witnessed an upward trend, except for romantic movies with a reverse pattern in the given time. Another interesting point is that despite the percentage of drama films released being the highest, comedy is much more popular among movie-goers than the other types of film. Regarding the proportions of movies released, drama films, comedy and fantasy were approximately 25%, 20% and about 10% in 1996, respectively. Then the figures escalated to 35%, 25%, and above 15% in 2000, respectively. The percentage of romantic movies released was slightly over 5% in 1996, which was the same as that in 2000. In 1996, most consumers opted for dramatic movies and comedy, with their sales being just over 15% and more than 20%, respectively. After that, these proportions negligibly rose to approximately 16% and nearly 25%, respectively. In 1996, the proportion of fantasy movie ticket sales was about 3%, which was lower than the figure for romance, with exactly 5%. However, the figure for fantasy movies went up nearly twofold in 2000, while the figure for romantic movies decreased to above 2%. In overall, the survey revealed that these wastes were primarily divided into 9 categories with the adjustment of proportion for most of features. However, there were two materials which percentage was constantly maintained in two specific time frames. In 1960, paper possessed the leading role in the proportion of waste disposal as well as was characterized by its unique statistic over 20% compared to other waste items. Furthermore, metal and plastic sharing the similar percentage at 8% in this field were doubling in number of wood, the bottom waste material, at 4%. In 2011, paper waste lost its dominant and was replaced by food waste with higher proportion at approximately 6%. Particularly, while wood waste surpassed other competitors and stood at rate 6 due to the increase of 4%, glass and green waste sustained its proportion, respectively at 5 and 9% in both years. The increase in people's life expectancy means that they have to work older to pay for their retirement. One alternative is that people start to work at younger age. Is this alternative a positive or negative development? The fact that people can live longer has been a source of controversy. It means that people have to work more at later ages in their lives. Nowadays, it is claimed that individuals should start their careers at younger ages to solve this situation. Personally, I think that it is a positive development. On the one hand, working at a younger age can lead to a lack of social life. In fact, people in workplaces often work for 8 hours per day, sometimes they do extra time to complete the project or the target. Because of spending all day at the workplace, they often feel tired when coming home. Therefore, individuals may have less time for self-care and social relationships, which is important for self-development during youth. On the other hand, I strongly believe that it is advantageous to start a job at a younger age. Firstly, the young can enhance crucial skills for their higher career in the future. It is clear that the young are a dynamic age, so they can try their best in many job positions. It not only helps them to experience some awkward circumstances in this job, but it also creates ample opportunities for them to meet others, leading to developing many skills such as communication or discussion which is necessary for their future career. Secondly, youth can have financial independence by working early. Therefore, they reduce their reliance on their families and also save money for their later ages. In other words, when the youth are in retirement, they can have enough money to pay for many unexpected diseases and have a lot of time for self-care. As a result, the life expectancy can be longer. To sum up, I hold the view that despite the lack of private life, working at a younger age is beneficial for individuals, including the development of early skills and the ease for the older age. The increase in people's life expectancy means that they have to work older to pay for their retirement. One alternative is that people start to work at younger age. More and more people in the city live in homes with small spaces or no outdoor areas. Do you think it is a negative or positive development?
There is a growth of population in many large cities, causing plenty of people to lead their lives in limited accomadations and no open space. Personally, I think this reality have significant negativity. Living in small spaces will be likely to result in some consequences that affect the quality of people’s lives, especially mental aspect. It can be sure that cramped living environment prevents people from doing daily activities effectively, such as space for eating or relaxing, which are all basic neeads of human. It has been proved that living in limited space can elicit feelings of confinement and accumulate negative emotions. Consequently, if this state constanly continues, people will suffer from mental issues including depression. Besides mental problems when staying in small spaces for a long period of time, without outdoor areas also bring about the problem of well-being. It is easily that people will have sedentary lifestyles because of no areas for exercise, causing higher risks of heart attack and obesity. This is even worse to the elderly, who are highly advised to do exercise on a regular basis in order to stay healthy. Furthermore, children are also one of the most vulnerable age group as they need to get exposed to nature and stay energetic to be well-rounded. In conclusion, I believe that this tendency of living in small houses with no open air have several disadvantages to both mental and physical health of people. The government should introduce some policies to help minimize this drawback. There is a growth of population in many large cities, causing plenty of people to lead their lives in limited accomadations and no open space. In the pie chart, private studios account for 48% in the total of location classes, this figure is double that of school halls ( after-school). Meanwhile, community halls & other and college-based studios are merely a minority of 18% and 10%, respectively. Turning to the bar chart, there are 600 students under 11 years are currently learning ballet, twice as many as that of those aged 11-16. Although tap classes are matched by a roughly similar trend, both age categories witness a significant decrease to about 450 students at the age of under 11, and over slightly 400 students for ages 11-16. By contrast, an opposite trend is seen in the modern classes which have only exactly 300 students at 11-16 years of age attending, compared to just over 500 younger students. Experts say if the old people spend time and get along with others and exercise every day, they will be healthier and happier. However, many elderly are suffering from loneliness and lack of fitness. Discuss the causes and solutions? Many elderly people indeed struggle with loneliness and inadequate physical fitness. This phenomenon can be attributed to several reasons, and solutions should be taken by the government to alleviate the circumstances. There are two primary reasons why many older individuals are facing isolation and poor physical condition. Firstly, young generations tend to live far away from the elderly and leave them to fend for themselves. This is because many youngsters want to settle in areas that provide a better environment and career opportunities; hence, older adults may feel marginalized. For instance, many young Vietnamese people leave their rural hometowns and move to developed cities to get high-paying jobs and gain a better standard of living. Regarding physical fitness, lacking specific healthcare equipment can negatively affect senior citizens’ health. If they are living in poor conditions that lack available training facilities, it can prevent them from physical activity. However, several solutions could be implemented to tackle this issue. The first solution would be for the government to improve the citizens’ well-being in some rural regions. If they could reduce the low employment rate, mitigate pollution, and flourish the robust economy in those areas, young adults might not migrate to another place to work. Consequently, they can live near the elderly and cater directly to them. The second solution requires the government to subsidize community centers and healthcare facilities in any neighborhood. This can help the older age groups access to age-appropriate exercise classes and programs. As a result, senior citizens may be motivated to do more exercise. In conclusion, there are several causes for the elderly community coping with loneliness and low levels of fitness, and steps need to be taken by the government to tackle this problem. It can be predicted that with implementation for better well-being and appropriate funding for healthcare services, this issue would likely be alleviated soon. Experts say if the old people spend time and get along with others and exercise every day, they will be healthier and happier. Dinosaurs which were no longer exist in this world from the previous decades can be taken as one of examples for the extinction of special organisms, indicating as a part of natural events. In addition, human is not relevant to these events, so it is not necessary for them to prevent it. However, I firmly believe that the interference of human to hinder these processes would be a crucial consideration. An outstanding explanation for this perspective is that human have the responsibility to preserve the life of endangered animals. By standing at the dominant position in most of food chains, human is one of potential species which were empowered to control and protect other animals from a high risk of disappearance. Particularly, within their well-being and morality, people seem more determination and dedicated in this duty. For instance, dealing with rhino, a species predicted to be extincted in the following years, numerous scientists have cooperated with organizations to apply the advance of biotechnology to prolong this animal’s life as much as they can. Thus, maintaining this work in decades has made it become an obligation for any individual. Moreover, a negative feeling is other feasible reason that promotes people to prevent this natural process. The decrease of animals may be a consequence of the drastic change in climate, triggered by the pollution from human’s activities. Therefore, people are more likely to experience a sense of guilty, and attempting to protect animals is their way to compensate to ecosystem and the Earth. Indeed, this feeling can foster people to interrupt the natural events associated with the life of organisms being harm by their action. To conclude, people have no request to prevent the occurrence of natural process such as the extinction of species. However, I absolutely disagree with this point because both the responsibility and the feel of guilty feasibly contribute to human interference. Dinosaurs which were no longer exist in this world from the previous decades can be taken as one of examples for the extinction of special organisms, indicating as a part of natural events. thầy cô chấm chữa giúp em với ạ: In some countries, owning a home rather than renting one is very important for people. Why might this be the case? Do you think this is a positive or negative situation?
People in many parts of the world prefer having their own house to renting one. In these parts, the house plays a vital role in people’s lives. In my opinion, although having many benefits, it also has drawbacks that people have to cope with. There are various reasons leading to this situation. First, having your own house will bring you a private space. Owning a home provides a sense of stability and security for the future, as homeowners can build or fix their houses based on their hobbies. For instance, when someone wants to paint or decorate something in the house, they do not need to ask homeowners for permission. Therefore, everyone might spend more time staying at home rather than hanging out for entertainment which leads to saving entertainment costs. Another reason is that you do not have any financial burdens of accommodation after having your own property. Thus, the amount of money spent on accommodation before will be saved or spent on other aesthetic activities. Having your own possessions such as a house has both advantages and disadvantages. On the other hand, it helps encourage the young generation to make an effort for a better life because they have to have a huge amount of money when having an intention of buying a new house or an apartment. Therefore, the whole community will develop together. On the other hand, there are also potential drawbacks to prioritizing owning a home. For instance, it might lead to financial strain due to high upfront costs and ongoing maintenance expenses. Additionally, renting offers more flexibility and freedom of movement. In conclusion, having or renting a house has both positive and negative sides, it depends on the individual’s demand, background, and housing market.
