The two maps depict the main changes that have taken place in a student accommodation between two stages of its development: 2010 and the present day. In general, it appears that the accommodation has been shifted towards a more convenient and spacious area, with far more bedrooms.
In terms of interior facilities, there used to be three bedrooms in the accommodation in 2010. However, the living room and a small garden have been removed to build another two bedrooms, resulting in more living space for students. Regarding the surrounding environment, almost all sides of the accommodation used to be covered by the gardens in 2010. In contrast, the southern garden has been eliminated to establish a car parking area for residents, leading to a reduction in green spaces and trees.

This can lead to a healthier population overall. Additionally, this group can make a significant contribution to the economy of their nation, which means that they have more disposable income for different purposes, including business. Hence, this practice can stimulate economic growth, and the quality of life.
On the other hand, others contend that paying for healthcare or education is an individual financial responsibility and the government does not need to concern about this services. On the grounds that funding a universally free health care system requires substantial financial resources, often resulting in higher taxes. To be more specific, in some egalitarian societies such as Germany and Denmark, people living in these nations have access to similar resources and opportunities regardless of their financial backgrounds. However, they must pay handsome taxes. Some argue that such a system is not sustainable in the long term, especially in countries with aging populations.
In conclusion, both statements are also valid but I think financial responsibility is a more beneficial approach because of avoiding unnecessary medical expenses. This can lead to a more efficient allocation of resources.

Many argue that many older people need employment to compete with their younger counterparts. This trend leads to several problems and various solutions should be adopted to improve the situation.
Two main problems arise from this phenomenon. Firstly, it can reduce efficiency and productivity for the company. When people get older, they may face various health issues that can lower overall well-being and require timely treatment; hence, older people cannot work consistently and may make mistakes during the work process. Consequently, the company may face severe consequences such as a decrease in sales and overall performance. Secondly, the younger generation may experience stress when competing with older people. The elderly often possess valuable experiences that can contribute to a company’s success, making it more challenging for younger workers to meet the demands of the competitive job market.
However, several solutions could be implemented to tackle this issue. One approach is for the government to introduce policies that reduce the retirement age for older generations. This would create job opportunities for the young, allowing them to secure high-paying jobs. Additionally, it can give older individuals more scarce time to take care of their health. Secondly, companies should hire more young employees. BÀI LÀM
There are those who contend that excessive significance is laid on university education while vocational training is overlooked, leading to a shortage of experienced tradespeople. Personally, I wholeheartedly concur with the proposition that young individuals should feel motivated to choose vocational training.
On the one hand, I approve of the notion that society tends to overemphasize the tertiary academic journey. Societal expectations often necessitate the acquisition of a university degree as a reliable indicator of success. Many youngsters, therefore, feel compelled to pursue higher academic education even though it does not align with their passions or career aspirations. If this trend lingers on, it can instill a sense of disorientation and dissatisfaction in the youth. The pressure on university pursuit, moreover, can lead to an unbalanced job market, characterized by a surplus in graduates from certain academic fields while a shortage in skilled tradespersons. The further repercussions would be higher youth unemployment rates and hindered economic growth of industries based on manual expertise such as the construction and manufacturing domains.
On the other hand, I also subject to the standpoint that promoting vocational training is of great benefit. Realistically, there is a growing demand for qualified tradespersons, including electricians and plumbers. Vocational education can equip young individuals with essential skills, qualifications and working experiences, enabling them to enter this sought-after market field. This will, in turn, facilitate infrastructure development and maintenance, bolstering the economic progress of sectors relying heavily on manual labor. Another merit is that these trade occupations can offer generous remuneration packages, fostering employers’ financial security and job fulfillment as well as cultivating a balanced and resilient economy.
In conclusion, I remain in complete agreement with the viewpoint that the young generation should not be pressured into pursuing tertiary education as the only path to success, and vocational training should hold equal value as this approach can encourage skill development and create a well-rounded and thriving employment market while satiating the need for qualified tradespeople. There are several reasons why I believe people should be responsible for looking after their local environment. Firstly, local environments can directly affect the health of local communities. This is because people live in degraded environments, with lots of rubbish on the streets, polluted water, and fewer trees, it can make them uncomfortable and stressful. Furthermore, polluted environments can result in various diseases due to the proliferation of bacteria. For instance, it has been proven that people who live in unclean environments are more likely to suffer from physical health problems than those who live in cleaner environments.
Another reason is that this can foster a strong sense of local cohesion. When neighbors work on environmental projects, such as street clean-ups or local recycling programs, which lead to strong social bonds and foster a sense of shared purpose. In this essay, I will analyse both sides of the topic, and I believe that greed is the primary factor contributing to the prevalence of crime.
On the one hand, some argue that long-term exposure to poverty can lead to criminal behaviour. Individuals living in poverty often face a lack of basic necessities and financial insecurity due to unemployment, which may drive them to commit crimes as a means of survival or escape. To illustrate, slums in major cities such as Chicago and New York often experience high rates of illegal activities, including theft and drug trafficking, due to limited job prospects and poor living conditions, such as water shortages and dilapidated housing. Therefore, residents in these areas frequently live in fear and anxiety.
On the other hand, others believe that the desire for pleasure and enjoyment through violent and sadistic behaviours of some particular types of people can result in illegal activities. Given that some specific types of residents have distorted perceptions for personal pleasures, they will tend to conduct activities that go against morality. One of the driving forces behind this trend is the rising popularity of social media and the Internet. As the use of networking sites becomes a norm for many individuals, people now easily have access to the social beauty standard. The pictures of beauty celebrities, the valuation of online comments about people’s appearance have a significant impact on their self-esteem and their desire to change how they look. Another reason comes from the development of cosmetic surgery technology and methods, which have become widely disseminated with a highly successful rate. For instance, there are a lot of beauty bloggers who share their story about the advancement in their look and their life after the operations. The process of cosmetic surgery which is introduced can be a form of advertising and the admiration from the public due to their look can also become a motivation for others.
Despite a considerable rise in the number of cosmetic surgeries over the past few years, I believe that it is an adverse development with various consequences. One of them is the detrimental effects on one’s health if a surgery is not properly conducted. Specifically, these operations often involve several potential risks of complications such as infections or scarring , which may exacerbate people’s health conditions or even threaten their life. Furthermore, many subjects like history, philosophy and literature can help people understand cultural heritage, develop empathy, and become informed citizens.
Another point worth mentioning is that if the government focuses on teaching science subjects, there will be restrictions in the economic sector. This is because the diversified economy requires professionals from various fields, including businesses, law, education and the arts, which can contribute to maintain stability and growth for the economy.
