However, I believe this development is largely negative, leading to significant drawbacks, including serious physical risks and potential long-term damage to one’s appearance.
There are two main causes of this trend. The first one is that an attractive appearance can open doors to careers where looks are paramount. To illustrate, Duc Phuc, a famous singer residing in Vietnam, underwent plastic surgery due to the toxic comments on his chubby body and unsuitable face for a celebrity. Post-surgery, he gained confidence and public approval, highlighting the pressure to conform to beauty standards in certain industries. Additionally, an attractive appearance can improve job prospect, sespecially in cultures where looks are highly valued. In South Korea, for example, those who don't meet societal beauty standards often face difficulties in securing jobs and job discrimination. This pressure can lead individuals to see cosmetic surgery as a necessary step to secure their future.
Despite this, the rise in cosmetic surgery could result in two significant disadvantages. Firstly, this trend could pose physical risks for people due to unreliable beauty clinics. As an illustration, Viet Phuong Thoa, a prominent TikToker, who had to undergo corrective surgery to remove improperly injected silicone that caused severe swelling and pain. Secondly, an addiction to cosmetic procedures can lead to disastrous consequences. For instance, Hang Mioku, a once-renowned Korean model, repeatedly underwent cosmetic surgeries in pursuit of an idealized appearance, ultimately leading to severe facial disfigurement that ended her career and left her reliant on social assistance.
To summarize, while the increasing prevalence of cosmetic surgery may be driven by the pursuit of career success and better job prospects, which brings about two disadvantages, including physical harm and the long-term impact on a person’s appearance, making it a largely negative development.

In the modern world, the increasing number of high school graduates opting for studying in a foreign country for higher education. From my perspective, studying abroad would bring more advantages than studying at mother country. This essay will elaborate further in this trend and suggest some possible reasons for that.
On the one hand, young individuals whose choices are to pursue higher education in their own nation have their own merits. Granted, many universities where history and cultural knowledge are incorporated in school curriculum, thus this can nurture a sense of belonging and remind them of their origins by connecting to their roots. Vietnam can exemplify this situation. The majority of Vietnamese universities are educating their students about patriotism by documents that they encounter and examine every day. But, if the students didn’t choose to stay in their nation, they would not able to approach these resources, leading to impaired cultural understanding and history knowledge.
However, it appears to me that, abroad education outweighs staying within motherland significantly. First, it can nurture cultural insights about variety of countries around the globe. Students, for example, can interact, communicate, share their ideas, their countries’ history, knowledge with others who also come from diverse backgrounds, thus leading to increased understanding about different fields that they are interested in. By the same token, students can also gain benefits from a more developed economy. This is because, students have a tendency to seek more job opportunities, increased employability, especially whom come from impoverished countries. This is particularly noticeable with nation such as the USA, UK, Australia where they have special policies that include specific sakes for abroad students, including granting permanent living for them who already accomplished 5 years study course. Therefore, thanks to these benefits, it offers great benefits advantages for students with the desire to have brighter future and want higher source of income than it is in their motherland.
In conclusion, despite some possible demerits that studying abroad can bring to students, including lacking understanding about cultural value and history. However, I still maintain that with greater merits that choosing to stay in another country brings about such as increasing job employability, higher income; the advantages are still more significant.
