Question: The best way to ensure the growth of children is to make parents take parenting courses. Do you agree or disagree? Many people believe that attending parenting courses is the most effective method to nurture their children comprehensively. While I acknowledge the reasons behind this thinking, I would argue that there are many ways that could offer better results in children's development. On the one hand, it is understandable why some people recognize the benefits of taking nurturing classes. The main reason is that these courses are designed to suit children’s growth progress. Parents who come to class for infancy care, for instance, would be taught by the newborn professions. They have numerous experience in studying newborn’s behavior and emotion, thus could easily satisfy them. In addition, parenting classes provide a community for parents whose children are at the same ages, that they could share about their children’s educational measures. Therefore, the family relationships might become more connected and understanding. On the other hand, I am convinced that taking training courses for parents is unnecessary. This is because these courses cost a high registration fee and almost all young families receive the support from the grandparents, who have experience in taking care of a child from birth until mature age. Woman in Vietnam after giving birth to a baby, for example, could ask her parents or her husband’s parents to give a hand. Moreover, many families could not arrange time to attend nurture courses because of their heavy schedule. Adults have to balance their work and life at the same time, even though they sometimes might work overtime or have a meeting. In conclusion, while there are justifications that taking parenting classes could bring positive results, I would contend that this should not be compulsory as the reasons mentioned above. Overall, almost types of food experienced a fluctuated trend during the surveyed period while the reverse trend was recorded for fish. Another striking feature is that the consumption of chicken was the most popular at the end of the period. Looking at the figure of chicken and beef for more details, at the beginning, beef was dominant as the most consumed protein, at nearly 225 grams per person per week, which was roughly 75 grams higher than the amount of chicken consumption. Following the next 10 years, the number of beef consumption fluctuated and decreased to 200 grams, while the figure of chicken gradually increased to higher 205 grams. From 1989 onwards, consumption of chicken significantly rose, surpassing beef to become the most preferred at the end of period at 250 grams per person per week. At the same time, the figure of beef consumption witnessed a substantial fall to approximately 100 grams at the end. Topic : In the modern world, schools are no longer necessary because there is so much information available through the internet that children can study just as well at home. To what extent do you agree or disagree. In these days, some people believe that it is redundant to go to school by virtue of the availability of a range of knowledge on the internet so that children can study at home. This essay totally disagress with this view for the following reasons. To begin with, teachers at school can help students develop comprehensively, which home-schooling is incapable of. Provided that teachers have a chance to supervise the children on a daily basis, they can understand the learning capacity of each students in order to assist them in improving their weaknesses and enhancing their strong points. For instance, a teacher can help his student to overcome his weak point in maths, which learning at home cannot achieve the same effect. However, if the student studies at home and relies on the source of information on the internet, it can be more challenging for him to realize the existing issue. Subsequently, going to school enables students to enhance due to teachers’ help. Studying at school, moreover, provides he adolescents opportunities to improve their soft skills. To clarify, commnunicating or working with friends allows students to be more sociable, independent and develop their team work. For example, getting prepared for a presentation at school helps children to get on well with their peers and also enhance their leading skill as well. Therefore, going to school is beneficial for the young on the grounds that soft skills are improved. In conclusion, opting for schools in lieu of Internet-based education at home is more reasonabe due to numerous merits that it brings. Question: It is more important to spend public money on promoting a healthy lifestyle in order to prevent illness than to spend it on treatment of people who are already ill. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Many people believe that the government should prioritize allocating resources to enhance healthy lifestyle rather than spending money on cures for patients. While I acknowledge the reasons behind this thinking, I would argue that people who are already ill also need to be paid attention. On the one hand, it is understandable why some people believe the authorities should finance to encourage activities that are beneficial for health. The main reason is that more and more people have unhealthy lifestyles and habits in recent years. For instance, those who eat too much fast food and less exercise could be prone to obesity and diabete. Therefore, measures could be implemented to prevent sedentary lifestyles, which offer health risks. Moreover, there are various diseases that are easily transmitted by chance such as HIV, AIDS. Healthy lifestyles might help us increase resistance and resist diseases. Considering these, the idea of investing to promote healthy lifestyles is justifiable. On the other hand, I am convinced that the government should spend a certain fund on sponsoring cure fees. This is because treatment costs might increase the financial burden of the family, many people who are disadvantaged could not afford a huge amount of money for this. For instance, those who are at stage one of cancer could have the ability to cure if the government supports medical expenses. Furthermore, some diseases bring inherited elements that no one wants to suffer from. Therefore, facilitating the import of modern technology and medicine helps people get access to new treatment methods and raise their ability to combat diseases. In conclusion, while there are justifications that healthy lifestyles need to be concentrated on by the government, I would contend that investing in treatment methods is equally important. Đề: More and more students choose to move to other countries to study their higher education. Do you think the advantages of this outweigh its disadvantages? Bài làm: An increasing number of students have opted to pursue higher educational levels in foreign countries. I consider that the benefits of this phenomenon, such as self-development through international exposure and the promotion of essential skills, overshadow the drawback, including the high cost of tuition fees and living expenses. There are two advantages of going to study abroad. Firstly, it provides opportunities for students to gain international exposure. By immersing themselves in a new culture, they can develop a deeper understanding of different perspectives and ways of life. For example, many Vietnamese students opt for Australia to study due to its unique culture, rare wildlife and breathtaking structures. Additionally, pursuing higher education abroad contributes to the development of crucial skills. In fact, international students are required to adapt to unfamiliar environments and manage their finances effectively. As an example, if a Vietnamese student in Australia must learn to adapt quickly, solve problems independently, and make wise decisions for success. Therefore, overseas students would gain a broader understanding of the world and develop essential life skills, which would be invaluable throughout their life. Despite this, it is challenging to pay expenses related to living and education when studying abroad. In fact, most of students tend to choose developed nations to study abroad, such as the United States, which is why they need to have a financial source to pay each day. This is exemplified by the fact that my neighbor, after studying abroad in Australia for 2 years, he had to return to Vietnam. This is because he did not afford to pay his course fees and living costs. As a result, the high cost of tuition fees and living expenses make many students challenging when going to study overseas. In conclusion, I utterly believe that the advantages of studying in other countries, namely international exposure and the development of essential skills, eclipse its disadvantage, including the steep expenses for tuition and living. It seems to me that educational institutions should organize workshops with the view to taking to students about the benefits of studying abroad, thus it can lead to personal and professional development. In summary, it is noticeable that the largest changes involved transportation with the addition of a bus station, two roundabouts and a separate public car park. In 2007, the hospital road, with had three bus stops on the either side, was connected to the City Road and to the Ring Road. Additionally, a common park was located on the east side of the hospital road, and it served both staff and public members. The changes were mainly around the hospital and the largest of these was related to parking. By 2010, they decided to separate the public and staff parking by adding an exclusively public car park running along the east side of the hospital. Furthermore, two roundabouts had been constructed at both ends of the hospital road, one at the intersection with the Ring Road and another one at the City Road junction. Topic: Many customs and traditional ways of behavior are no longer relevant to modern life and not worth keeping. Do you agree or disagree? It is claimed that there is no point in preserving some traditional approaches and customs as they are of no relevance to the individuals’ lives. Although I acknowledge the logic behind this view, I still strongly disagree with it for several reasons. Those who support the elimination of traditions and customs may have some valid arguments. They may well argue that certain traditional practices lack ethics and even impose potential risks on individuals. The practice of inbreeding in some ethnic tribes, for instance, may result in some fetal malformations or even stillbirth. Another possible argument is that some traditional approaches may lead to unpleasing problems in modern society. For example, in some nations, girls in mountainous areas are not allowed to go to school but to stay at home and do housework. This can cause gender inequality and become obstacles in the career path of women. Nevertheless, I still firmly oppose this claim for several reasons. Chief among these is that some traditions and customs are still applicable in today’s world. To be specific, traditions that reinforce personal responsibility and work ethics may cultivate good manners and moral standards among young generations. For instance, values such as helping the needy, hard work, and honesty taught by our forefathers should be carried on. The second reason is that the cultural values of previous generations are likely to preserve our national identity. In fact, traditional customs can hinder cultural assimilation which can be caused by globalization and cultural integration by highlighting the cultural significance among the citizens of the country. In conclusion, it is understandable why some people may argue that old norms and traditions should be eliminated due to the lack of morality and some societal issues in modern life. However, I cannot totally support such a view as established traditions are still valid in the modern era and can foster national identity. Therefore, it is vital to determine which traditional values deserve preservation and which ones should be abolished. Topic : young people are often influenced in their behaviours and situations by others of the same age. This is called 'peer pressure'. Do the disadvantages of peer pressure outweigh the advantages ? The adolescents , according to many people, usually have impacts on other's behaviours and circumstances of the same age, which is called 'peer pressure'. This writing would argue that the benefits of this trend are greatly more significant than its drawbacks. The first drawback is that burden from peer's achievement increase the risk of suffering from mental issue. Constantly conparing with other people decreases the youth's level of confidence and renders these individuals be more anxious towards there academic performance simultaneously. As a consequence, mental health should be taken into account when it comes to peer pressure. Another negative aspect is that the attempt to gain acceptance into a group of friends can cause the young people to lose their identity. In lieu of focusing on their own strong points, some juvenviles are prone to shift their habits or hobbies to comprehensively intergrate to their mates and please them as well. A case in point is in the start of a new school year, when timid students have to change to a complete new leisure activities to engage in a conservation wither other classmates. Therefore, loosing identity is likely to be a downside of this trend. However, these drawbacks are pale in comparison with the benefits of peer pressure. The first positive aspect is that this kind of pressure can foster students academic performance within a school environment. Studying with other well-rounded mates prevents the young from resting on laurels in order to constantly raise personal criteria. A high school student, in particular, is less likely to stop developing himself when his peers still acquire new knowledge on a daily basis. Another gain is that positive peers influence contributes to the shaping moral compass. To be a part in a good learning environment allows young people to imitate behaviours of decent individuals and also reflect on their behaviour regularly. For instance, students at school frequently learn from their friends' behaviours, which plays a fundamental role in forming their personalities. Subsequently, increasing the ability to judge things and to behave in an appropriate way is a crucial merits of peer influences. In conclusion, the merits of peer pressure certainly surpass its demerits. Not only can people perform better in school but they also can shape a comprehensive moral compass in life. Some people think that newly built houses should follow the style of the old houses in the local areas, while others think that people should have freedom to build houses of their own styles. Discuss both views and give your own opinion. Bài làm: It is undeniable that houses play an indispensable role in the lives of individuals. However, constructing them has sparked intense debates. While a number of people believe this process should abide by the rules of local authorities, others are skeptical and point toward people’s freedom in their own styles. I staunchly agree with the latter viewpoint. On the one hand, there are two compelling reasons for advocating local traditional house styles. Indeed, preserving a long-standing architectural tradition in a particular area not only fosters uniformity in design but also bestows a unique identity upon that region. In fact, this uniqueness can attract tourists, thus boosting tourism in the area. For example, HoiAn ancient town, located in Vietnam, is validated as a UNESCO World Heritage for its unique houses which adhere to the mutual vintage style. Besides, it is crucial to consider weather conditions. Thus, architects must take into account the conceptual design and available materials that can withstand extreme weather, ensuring the long-term sustainability of a resilient building. When it comes to high winds, architectural designs should include features such as a windbreak, external shading, or a wind scoop to reduce the risk of wind damage. On the other hand, I firmly believe that individuals should have the freedom to choose their own architectural concepts. Firstly, allowing homeowners to express their unique identities and creativity in the design of their homes not only fosters a sense of ownership but also contributes to the diversity of architectural styles in a country. Also, architects can utilize modern building technology and materials that are available nowadays, which is more convenient compared with the traditional ones. As the majority of outdated materials are no longer usable, finding or purchasing them can be quite challenging for homeowners and architects. In conclusion, I constantly advocate my belief that it is necessary to consider the freedom of choice based on personal interests and identities, which can not only uphold diversity in a country’s architectural styles but also an easy-going approach for people. Some people think that newly built houses should follow the style of the old houses in the local areas, while others think that people should have freedom to build houses of their own styles. task: Writing by hand with a pencil or pen is a waste of time. Children should only be taught to type on a keyboard. Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? answer: The ubiquity of technology has revolutionized the way people fulfil writing. People nowadays tend to use keyboard more instead of pen or pencil. I would definitely say that writing with pencil or pen is far more beneficial than learning to write on the keyboard. This essay will explore more this phenomenon. To begin with, although educational revitalization such as the application of technology for learning process can act as an innovation catalyst, fostering creativity and critical thinking among young minds, hence preparing them to navigate and shape their career path comprehensively. However, the plugged-in youth are always on their technological devices, which spark some eyesight problems. Some teachers, for example, argue that their students are addicted to technological gadgets; pretend to use keyboards for academic purposes, but turn out to play games or go online. This may backfire the initial purpose of technology, and by extension, result in hindering learning prowess and lowering productivity at school. Moreover, I firmly believe that physical pens play a pivotal role in restoring the information in the brain for the longer period of time. It is because handwriting can yield a focused experience, which avoids digital distractions that hinder the comprehension of students in the learning process, thus they can absorb knowledge sufficiently. The cost-effectiveness of pens and pencils, being affordable and widely accessible, makes them indispensable for various working groups. Likewise, using a pen and pencil at a young age will help them show a great deal of movement in their hands in terms of dexterity and flexibility. Đề: Some people think that museum should be enjoyable places to entertain people, while others believe that the purpose of museum is to educate. Bài làm: It is argued that museums can serve its purpose as a fun and entertain zone, whereas other individuals mention that it is the place to attain knowledge. In this article, I will elaborate both sides of the topic, and I believe that museum increases the mental ability of children with regular visits. Some people state that people can enjoy and look at historical objects. Museums are tourist attractions, and their aim is to exhibit a collection of interesting objects which plenty of visitors will want to see. Many people may become bored if he or she has to read or listen to too much educational content, which is why many museums tend to put an emphasis on enjoyment rather than learning. Therefore, this type of museum is constantly designed to be spectacular, and may have some interactive activities or even some games as a part of the exhibition. In spite of this, others argue that museums can enhance people’s knowledge about the life. In fact, the aim of all exhibitions is to teach for tourists something that they did not previously know. Usually this means the history behind the museum’s exhibits need to be explained, and this can be done through various ways. In Vietnam, for instance, multiple museums employ professional guides with the aim of talking to their travelers, even some ones may turn on radios which talk about the exhibition. As a result, museums can play an important role in teaching people about history, culture, science and many other aspects of life. In conclusion, both sides have their valid viewpoints, such as the enjoyment of artefacts and accelerating people’s awareness of everything around. I, however, believe that museums are places which stimulate children’s curiosity. This is exemplified by the fact that many schools in Vietnam organize experiential learning activities visiting museums, this usually increases their interest by explaining the livelihood of the generations over the centuries throughout the world.
