Buying things on the Internet such as books, air tickets and groceries is becoming more and more popular. Do the advantages of shopping in this way outweigh the disadvantages? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your knowledge or experience. (BAI LAM) In this contemporary epoch, there is a phenomenon that people tend to purchase things throughout platforms on the internet. This essay will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of this trend, and I believe that the merits overshadow the demerits. There are some reasons to advocate for this type of shopping such as time saving or cost-effectiveness. These days, people often live in hectic and modern lifestyles so traditional stores may not be appropriate for them. Additionally, due to the development of technology, most individuals posses a smartphone or laptop which act as a catalyst for scrolling on the internet to buy commodities. It is convenient when users can stay at home and order deliveries which are shipped in-person without reaching the traditional shops. Furthermore, they are able to compare the costs between different shops to easy to make the most suitable decision. For example, Shopee is an online shopping platform which gains popularity in Vietnam since it provides the variety of goods and coupons for deliveries and packages. On the other hand, when purchasing things on the internet is more and more common, some owners of traditional stores may be on the edge of bankruptcy because their guests can find similar products at the lower cost. In addition, sometimes, online buyers would not have chances to check the items before receiving, so they may buy the fake or dissimilar products. For some essential goods including cosmetics or medicines, if people buy the counterfeit ones, it could pose a threat to their skin or even their health. In conclusion, although there are several demerits of online shopping including an increasing unemployment rate or counterfeit products, I consider the merits still outweigh because of its time saving, cost-effectiveness, and modern individuals' adaption . In modern society, sport is becoming more and more prevalent among individuals at every age. Some people argue that it is more necessary to be strong physically and mentally and vice versa. In my opinion, both aspects are crucial to achieve success in sport. Nevertheless, physical strength is the fundamental factor that helps us gain achievements. In this essay, I will discuss both views, give explanations and relevant examples to support my arguments. A number of individuals believe that having a positive and strong mental attitude will lead to success when it comes to playing sports. It is undeniable that keeping a healthy, optimistic and resistant mind is able to foster a competitive spirit, which triggers and stimulates the humans’ primal side to compete fiercely to become a winner. Furthermore, a strong mentality creates numerous aspiring athletes, who bring positive energy to their teammates and audiences that inspire the passion for sports to the world. On the other hand, having a healthy and strong body is one of the most basic and vital elements that paves the way for success in sport. If a person who takes up sports and puts great effort in practicing and playing sports every day, he or she is more likely to get in shape. Also, this good routine boosts their physical endurance and stamina, which helps them balance and keep their body condition stable during the matches. It is obvious that a healthy person has more advantages in playing sports and achieving prizes than someone who suffers from health issues. Another reason is that if participants who have enough health that meet the requirement for a particular sport, they will not need to cheat their opponents by using some illegal substances or performance-enhancing drugs that help them play better than their real ability, which may result in unfair evaluations and crimes. In conclusion, both mental and physical strength are the key factors that lead to success. However, being strong physically is more important because it is the most basic need for people to take part in sport and become competent in this area. Therefore, it is a must for individuals to try their best to practice every day to keep their body healthy, strong and in the best condition. It is true that the main focus of the media is a topic of much debate. While there is a trend that media reports focus on problems and emergencies rather than positive development.I am of the opinion that it is a serious issue and also has negative impacts on civilization. On the one hand, the option to network social focus on negative news is useful. Firstly, focusing on problem can mobilize communities and governments to address these pressing issues. This mainly due to when they received the news to the others reports, the issue will be immediately solved Secondly, reporting on emergencies can enhance public awareness to prevent potential consequences In case, someone posts some news relevant to risks that endanger children so many parents will be attracted and pay attention, improving their knowledge to protect their children. On the other hand, there are a variety of reasons why I believe the reports focus on problems and emergencies rather than positive development. The main one is,continuous exposure to negative news can increase stress and anxiety. For instance, via social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter consumers will be got more news on daily basis such as the pressure adolescence, many adults tend to overthinking since they have to attend too much lessons that they do not want to participate since depressed and lengthy theories. In addition, constant exposure to negative news can desensitize people to violence, tragedy, and suffering. This can be exemplified in the case of, when existing some reports about the regarding the issue of protecting people’s freedom and happiness , consumers always believe that they are being closely protected by the majority, but in reality is not that, the issue of school violence and domestic violence still appears in around the world, In conclusion, while there are many benefits to problems and emergencies reported by the news. I still believe that it is more disadvantageous to society because negative news can increase stress and anxiety or desensitize people to violence, tragedy, and suffering. Do you think the advantages of driverless vehicles outweigh the disadvantages?** Bài làm: The emergence of driverless automobiles has been predicted for several years. Indeed, nowadays, drivers have become more dependent on technology. Corporations in the automobile industry have attempted to produce fully-automated cars, one example of this is Tesla. Although the advantages is undeniable, there are varied reasons why they haven't been mass-produced. On the one hand, artificial intelligence restricts the miscalculations made by humans. Even individuals who have experience in driving can be easily distracted when encounter a certain deterrent. Other than that, people's state of mind can also contribute as an influential factor. For example, lack of sleep can reduce the attention duration while controlling a vehicle. Although, in many cases, there will be no casualty caused due to these simple reasons, it is still important to bear in mind that there are chances that it will. Driverless vehicles, however, do not possess any emotions which can possibly lead to lack of focus. In addition, accidents resulting from alcohol usage and law violations will be completely avoided. On the other hand, technology can not be depended on in every situation. Despite the advancement of technology, there are still numerous misfunctions in driverless automobiles. Take the example of a nation with frequent traffic congestion such as Vietnam. The advanced vehicles are designed to brake when there is an obstacle, should they be launched on Vietnamese roads, they will be unable to operate due to a shortage of space. Driverless technology is connected to GPS and satellites, which can be a target of hijacking or information theft. There are a variety of aspects to consider before relying completely on technology. Along with all the disadvantages, there is the continuous development of technology indicating that shortly, the advantages will make up for these drawbacks.
