Environmental problems have become major concerns today because of their severe consequences. Some argue that the government should enforce policies that make individuals responsible for maintaining their own local environment. From my perspective, I agree with this statement.
There are several reasons why I believe people should be responsible for looking after their local environment. Firstly, local environments can directly affect the health of local communities. This is because people live in degraded environments, with lots of rubbish on the streets, polluted water, and fewer trees, it can make them uncomfortable and stressful. Furthermore, polluted environments can result in various diseases due to the proliferation of bacteria. For instance, it has been proven that people who live in unclean environments are more likely to suffer from physical health problems than those who live in cleaner environments.
Another reason is that this can foster a strong sense of local cohesion. When neighbors work on environmental projects, such as street clean-ups or local recycling programs, which lead to strong social bonds and foster a sense of shared purpose. For example, many local environmental campaigns have been launched over the years, leading to not only improved local environments but also strong community bonds.
In conclusion, while the government can play a vital role in protecting the environment, I agree that people should be held responsible for their local environment due to their own health and social cohesion. People should take care of their local environment to live in a greener life and in a more harmonious community.

It is said that crime is driven by conditions such as poverty and other social issues, while individuals who are inherently immoral are believed to be the main cause of illegal activities. In this essay, I will analyse both sides of the topic, and I believe that greed is the primary factor contributing to the prevalence of crime.
On the one hand, some argue that long-term exposure to poverty can lead to criminal behaviour. Individuals living in poverty often face a lack of basic necessities and financial insecurity due to unemployment, which may drive them to commit crimes as a means of survival or escape. To illustrate, slums in major cities such as Chicago and New York often experience high rates of illegal activities, including theft and drug trafficking, due to limited job prospects and poor living conditions, such as water shortages and dilapidated housing. Therefore, residents in these areas frequently live in fear and anxiety.
On the other hand, others believe that the desire for pleasure and enjoyment through violent and sadistic behaviours of some particular types of people can result in illegal activities. Given that some specific types of residents have distorted perceptions for personal pleasures, they will tend to conduct activities that go against morality. As an illustration, Ted Bundy, a notorious serial killer, targeted young women, rendered them unconscious, and then took them to secluded areas where he committed heinous acts, including rape and murder, as a result of a twisted desire for control and sexual gratification. According to this view, monitoring and addressing such behaviours early in young children is crucial to preventing future criminal activities.
To summarise, both sides have their valid viewpoints, such as criminal behaviour of an individual is caused by the long-term living in poor conditions and the twisted desire for personal pleasure and enjoyment. However, I feel that greed that is increased after escaping from poverty can take control of people and lead them to commit a crime. Taking Carlos Lehder who was who grew up in underprivileged Columbian family and became a notorious drug lord as an illustration, in order to protect his large-scale lucrative drug operation, he hired assassins to eliminate anyone who threatened his business that varied from government officials to those who disobeyed his orders, causing widespread violence and suffering for countless Columbians.

There are some primary reasons that explain why people have operations to change the way they look. One of the driving forces behind this trend is the rising popularity of social media and the Internet. As the use of networking sites becomes a norm for many individuals, people now easily have access to the social beauty standard. The pictures of beauty celebrities, the valuation of online comments about people’s appearance have a significant impact on their self-esteem and their desire to change how they look. Another reason comes from the development of cosmetic surgery technology and methods, which have become widely disseminated with a highly successful rate. For instance, there are a lot of beauty bloggers who share their story about the advancement in their look and their life after the operations. The process of cosmetic surgery which is introduced can be a form of advertising and the admiration from the public due to their look can also become a motivation for others.
Despite a considerable rise in the number of cosmetic surgeries over the past few years, I believe that it is an adverse development with various consequences. One of them is the detrimental effects on one’s health if a surgery is not properly conducted. Specifically, these operations often involve several potential risks of complications such as infections or scarring , which may exacerbate people’s health conditions or even threaten their life. On the other hand, enhancing someone’s appearance can boost their self-esteem and feel more confident and happy within themselves. By undergoing cosmetic surgery, people are regaining their self-confidence and leading happier lives as a result, which I believe is a very positive development.
In conclusion, although there have been cases where plastic surgery has been detrimental, overall I believe that whether it is used to help improve one’s appearance and self confidence, it is helping to improve the lives of millions of people around the world.

In 2007, the respective figures for lower and higher secondary schools were 85% and 75%, and they both rose to 95% in 2012. Vocational education consistently experienced the lowest attendance rates, at 71% in 2017 and 88% in 2012 respectively.
Turning to the contributory factors to low attendance, both parents working was the most popular cause, accounting for the dominant shares of 40% in 2007 and 53% in 2012. The second major culprit was lack of school discipline with the percentage decreasing from 25% to 16% over the period surveyed. Bullying and peer pressure made up 15% each initially. However, five years later, while the proportion of students not attending due to bullying dropped significantly to 7%, the figure for peer pressure rose by 4%.

The first argument behind my belief is that focusing solely on science subjects can lead to a narrow-minded educational system that neglects the holistic development of students. Science and technology can contribute to developing economic growth and innovation, but humanities and art can help individuals foster critical thinking, creativity, and ethical reasoning, which are necessary for a balanced society. Furthermore, many subjects like history, philosophy and literature can help people understand cultural heritage, develop empathy, and become informed citizens.
Another point worth mentioning is that if the government focuses on teaching science subjects, there will be restrictions in the economic sector. This is because the diversified economy requires professionals from various fields, including businesses, law, education and the arts, which can contribute to maintain stability and growth for the economy. In contrast, focusing solely on science could lead to an oversupply of scientists and engineers. These actions can limit the range of occupation in the society, which can make more employees face the risk of unemployment.
In conclusion, paying attention to teaching science can bring more development to technological and innovation for the authority. I completely disagree with the notion that governments should prioritize science education over other subjects.

The pie charts depict the six reasons for immigrants to and from a specific European country in 2009. Overall, the main reason for immigration from the European country in 2009 was the definite job. However, most people immigrated to the European country at that time because of accompany/family concerns.
Regarding reasons for immigration from the country in Europe, most people immigrated because of job security, with 38%. In constrast, no reason and studying were the two least popular reasons, with 4% and 7%, respectively. The reasons namely family and looking for a job also occupied relatively small proportions, at 15% and 13%, respectively.
Looking at reasons for immigration to the country in Europe, the two primary reasons for people immigrating were academic aspects and job security, with 25% and 23%, respectively. Conversely, people desired to immigrate for no reason, which was a minor fraction at 7%. Lastly, 15% was the percentage of the three remaining reasons which were accompanying, job hunting, and other reasons.

In my opinion, I consider motorbikes to be a very convenient means of transport for several reasons. To begin with, I believe they are accessible due to their affordability as it enables individuals to commute conveniently. Furthermore, I consider them to be highly user-friendly, particularly the electric motorcycle, which appeals to individuals of different age demographics.

Based on my observations, helicopters represent one of the most expensive modes of transportation utilized by affluent individuals. For instance, using public transportation, such as buses or trains, can be time-consuming, particularly for those residing at a considerable distance from their educational institutions and workplaces. Therefore, it is evident that only a small fraction of them rely on public transport for commuting to school and work.

The most apparent advantages of utilizing public transportation include its positive impact on the environment, particularly when individuals decrease their reliance on private vehicles. In urban areas, public transport systems like subways and railways offer a range of modern amenities that facilitate convenient travel for passengers to their workplaces and educational institutions.

Currently, I am living in a modern apartment built by an investor in the central residential area of the capital. Obviously, this place is surrounded by many convenience stores and shopping malls that attract tourists from all over the world. So, my family and I often buy clothes or some necessities in that area and it is really comfortable. That is the main reason why I deeply cherish the moments spent with my family in my home.

I would say it is definitely my bedroom. Obviously, I love immersing myself in the relaxing space in my bedroom because it gives me a pleasant feeling, especially after a tiring day of studying. Whenever things get boring, I often decide to complete my exercises under the lights with excitement and that really helps me improve my mood.
3. What things make your home pleasant to live in? (Why?)
For me, I really appreciate the valuable personal touch atmosphere in my room. Well, I have all kinds of photos and mementos hanging on the wall that evoke good memories like soft cushions, candles and a cool bookstore that makes the space feel so cozy. And nothing beats the sound of my family having a good time together.

Actually, physics is one of the most difficult subjects at my school which sadly makes every student feel really nervous and stressed, especially when it comes to the final exam. This includes me, as I only passed all of the Physics exams by a narrow margin.
Well, I assumed that only intelligent people could absorb and acquire all those kinds of formulas in Physics and my ignorance of them literally allowed me to eliminate it from my self-study curriculum. Throughout the school years, most of the time that I learn physics, I was surrounded with tears because of the low scores that I get from the tests and exams. The thing that challenged me the most was remembering the physical formulas and applying them in various exercises. I struggled with that a lot. So, this involves calculating the amount of them in separate carriers I didn’t need to figure out everything by myself. To my surprise, I met a tutor who could help me solve all the difficult problems and in the end, I was able to solve each Physics problem without me having to figure everything out on my own.
Recalling the memorable time with Physics, I realized how important Physics is. I passed the final exam with an excellent score, and it turned out that my curiosity about this subject motivated me to acquire a lot of useful knowledge. Anyway, you know, my attitude towards this subject has dramatically changed. I hope in the future I can build many concrete buildings for my family and for the community.

Some researchers believe that it is essential for inventors to share their formulas and inventions to others. However, there is a more persuasive argument that it is too risky to open the discoveries to one another and they can use it for wicked purpose.
On the one hand, the rich people can share how they can earn a lot of money by investing into the real estates. To be more specific, this can create a strong influence on those who don not know about land and houses and they can invest their money in a thing that can make them rich. Additionally, they can start a business on their own and learn what they can do to make their business as a local brand in thier own country. For example, one of the biggest content creator is Mr. Beast as known as Jimmy Donald teaches in Havard University about how people start building their social media in a way that is approachable to various age groups in Youtube.
Nevertheless, I support the idea that kepping the secret method is a good way of kepping the original factor. If a country makes a weapon that could destroy an island, they cannot reveal their invention to others because it can be a threats to their country as well. For instance, if USA in World War 1 reveals their methods to Japan, the whole world could disappear in a blink of an eye.
To sum up, while it is apparent that sharing ideas is a good way of learning, it is undeniable that it can be use to kill one another.
