Levels of youth crime are increasing rapidly in most cities around the world. What are the reasons for this? Suggest some solutions to improve the situation. The juvenile criminal issue is becoming prevalent in many countries worldwide. While there are several reasons for the phenomenon, some solutions can be implemented to improve this situation. One cause of this problem is the parents' inadequate practices. In modern life, parents become occupied with their jobs and cannot spend enough time with their children. In a metropolis such as Hanoi, many parents experience financial strain, work-related stress, and challenges in work-life balance; therefore, they can lack interaction with their children. As a result, the children often have aggressive behaviors to attract their parents' attention. To mitigate this problem, parents should learn how to manage their time effectively to maintain work-life balance. For example, in giant corporate such as Google, it has a flexible work model, allowing employees to work remotely, work flexible hours, or schedule their work hours according to their needs to fit their family schedules and time with their children. Another reason is the children's constant exposure to violent content, which can have adverse effects on youth. According to statistics from the NCBI, the average child sees 12,000 violent acts on television annually, including many depictions of murder and rape. If the youth view media violence regularly, they are more likely to exhibit antisocial behavior. An effective method that should be implemented to tackle this issue is that parents should regularly monitor the content their children watch because teenagers cannot select suitable content. For instance, Youtube or Netflix also provide modes or features to help parents manage children's content safely and effectively In conclusion, poor parenting practices and constant exposure to violent content are two culprits behind the problem. I believe that if the solutions mentioned above were implemented effectively, the problem would be alleviated. Levels of youth crime are increasing rapidly in most cities around the world. Computers are often argued to be the most important invention of the last hundred years. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement? In the modern world, a number of people assume that computers should be regarded as the most significant creation which proufoundly influenced the human race in various aspects over the past century. However, there is still an opposing opinion from the remainder of public. From my point of view, I strongly agree with the first statement which gives computers the highest appreciation as the greatest invention. On the one hand, those who support the first view have a number of reasons in favour of their viewpoint. Apparently, one major point must be included is that computers allow the process of uploading, storing as well as accessing information to become available all over the world. Therefore, they have provided more opportunities for research and have facilitated the development of human literacy. Taking science as a prominent example, many scientific works have been accomplished over the past decades thanks to the viability of materials which were thoroughly investigated and then archived on the computing system where researchers could take them as a source of preference. In addition, another marvelous merit of the invention computer that I could also mention is that it is a versatile gadget assisting human beings in handling numerous sophisticated tasks. Some technical fields such as Mathematics, Geography or Animation do need computer to join hands in the stage of tracking and analysing data in order to state the most accurate result in an optimal time. To illustrate, human brains are incapable of solving a long range of calculations in a specifically short time and ensuring the accuracy of the equations, so we have to use computers as the more speedy assistance. To conclude, the benefits computers bring to the human race are incredible and therefore cannot be overlooked. Without this blessing, many aspects such as science, maths will be procastinated from thriving development. Thus, it is highly essential for every single individual to acknowledge the impacts of computers. Computers are often argued to be the most important invention of the last hundred years. Prompt: The diagram below shows how one type of coal is used to produce electricity. The picture illustrates how electricity is generated by a particular type of coal. Overall, there are 8 main stages in this process, starting from the exploitation of coal to the transformation of electricity for consumption. Additionally, in certain steps during the process, the form of this mineral changes from solid to gas, and waste heat is excluded as a by-product. The process begins with raw coal being exploited from the mine before being pulverised by means of a crusher. These fine fragments are then transferred to the gasifier, whereby high heat is used, rendering it into gas. In the next step, the resulting gas enters the cooling facilities, during which waste heat is released. Once the gas has been cooled, it is moved to another place to be cleaned to remove unwanted impurities. The process ends with the cleaned gas being processed in the power plant, where it is converted into electricity for household and industrial use. It is noteworthy that the waste heat is also removed during this final stage. Prompt: The diagram below shows how one type of coal is used to produce electricity. The fast efficient access to information resulting from the revolution of cutting-edge technology in general, as well as social media in particular, can support many people to get better news in the modern era. Meanwhile, others suppose that the most proper method to get news quickly and effectively is through the newspaper. In this exposition, the commendable features and imperfect points of this heated question will be thoroughly examined before my personal perspective is provided. Initially, it is an undeniable fact that the profound advantages of traditional newspapers to newsreaders enormously remain its approachability and reliability. Consequently, the conventional press is always trusted and glorified by its strict editorial content and quality checking in each process of collecting data which brought a good reputation for its credibility and remarkable accuracy. Moreover, reading printed newspapers can somehow reduce the heavy pressure from constantly accessing the digital network. Additionally, this traditional form has been developing for a long period and creating its potentially loyal customers, the proof is that there is a marked number of elderly who maintain a deep-seated hobby for printed news over decades. Conversely, an unlimited storage of news content is made available, providing unparalleled convenience and widespread popularity in this information era. To clarify further, the extraordinary and scientific advancement of the internet supplies us with inexhaustible access to information and other wonderful features. Through media platforms, users can easily search for fresh information suitable to their taste, update it quickly, or even look for very old news which is the only thing printed newspaper finds hard to preserve. In conclusion, the process of approaching news, both through traditional printed media and the social media platform, provide newsreaders with its own benefits and commensurate drawbacks. The selection should rely on the specific demand of each user and the certain nature of the information they are looking for. As a result, from my best perspective, the coherent fusion of these two approaches conventionally generates an optimal efficiency in the creation of transmitting information to the reader. Đề:Many people use social media every day to get in touch with other people and news events. Do you think the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages? Bài làm Thanks to technological advancements, communication over long distances and the acquisition of information through social media are becoming increasingly popular. Acknowledging certain disadvantages caused by this trend, I believe that it can confer more significant merits. Admittedly, several threats will be posed to users if they overuse online platforms. The most evident problem is the potential spread of fake information. As content posted onto these platforms tends to undergo less strict supervision of authoritative experts, its credibility is not always ensured. This means that Internet users are more susceptible to fake news. Another demerit is the lack of real life communication in humans’ relationships. Specifically, when people too rely on online platforms to communicate, their face-to-face relationships may degrade. This can be seen in the way many young people are experiencing isolation given their over-reliance on online communication. However, the benefits of social media tools are of more significant importance. Chief of these is the ability to contact people irrespective of geographical constraints. Students studying abroad, for example, who live far away from their home, can make daily video calls or messages with their family. As a result, it is much easier to maintain long-distance relationships.Another benefit lies in the fact that people can keep updated with information within a short period of time and from numerous sources.. Not until after social media platforms become widely used can people keep up with the latest information. In conclusion, although the excessive use of online platforms brings about certain problems, I advocate its huge contribution to individuals’ convenient communication and information acquisition. Bài làm: In modern times, most businesses are looking for ways to promote their products á the newest item. Because new trends are updated everyday, by this way they can attact more people to use their goods. As can be seen , people tend to use products that are trending in the market at present. They believe that these products have good visual and generally, mean better quality and more technological advanced. Space travel has been possible for some time and some people believe that space tourism could be developed in the future. Do you think it is a positive or negative development? Some individuals claimed that commercial space travel could be more thriving in the years ahead because of its capable reference in some periods. Personally, I totally disagree with this school of thought because of some negative reasons. It can be seen that there are some downside views from the proliferation of the commercialization of space travel. For one, it could exacerbate socioeconomic disparities. Aerospace is a prohibitively expensive industry which requires a wide range of innovative equipment, and it doesn’t mean which country with these conditions could develop this industry let alone the poor nations. Instead of opening for all kinds of people, leisure travel space is just suitable for people who have luxury finance and it leads to widen the gap between the wealthy elite and the rest of society. Another serious effect of space travel is the energy crisis of the world. Most of the materials of Aerospace are from natural sources, and if space travel rapidly developed, the scarcity of energy would be more significant. By using a colossal amount of energy, it is predicted that there will no longer be enough energy to use in the far future. Thereby, global warming, environment pollution and soil degradation would be increased dramatically because of the shift in nature. Given the deterioration of the plant, the commercialization of space travel could be a threat for the whole world. In conclusion, despite the potential development of outer space, I believe that it would be more inclined towards a negative trend. In many modern societies, grandchildren rarely spend any quality time with their grandparents. What do you think are the consequences of this? In a host of contemporary societies, it has become far more normal for descendants to spend less quality of their time for their ancestors. Personally, this above trend could trigger some ramification that should be considered by humans. There are two serious consequences of the limited time that grandchildren divert to their grandparents. For one, establishing some bad effects on elderly people's health. As it is being proved by science that grandparents would have many bad emotions about mentality when they do not have too much conservation with younger persons, and it leads to low grandparents' lifespan. Given less interaction with people who have fresh energy, elderly people would be more negative instead of positive. Thereby, the mortality of grandparents would be higher. Furthermore, tradition and cultural values can not be preserved fully. The most crucial things of a family are the traditional and cultural activities passed down through many years . In order to keep a compelling cultural and traditional background, younger generations rest with the duty of that. Meanwhile, they do not spend time to get an awareness of their traditional and cultural values which passed down from elder relatives, so it leads to the vague tradition of younger generations. In conclusion, there are some bad effects on ancestor’s health and lack of traditional preservation on a family due to the less quality time of descendants diverting to grandparents. Thus, I strongly believe that this trend could trigger bad consequences on society. In many modern societies, grandchildren rarely spend any quality time with their grandparents. Question: Immigration has a major impact on society. What are the main reasons of immigration? To what consequences can it lead? It is not a stretch to say that migration is a powerful force shaping the world, as each individual travels across the globe, yearning for specific reasons. This essay will list why people choose to migrate and discuss its consequences. First of all, at the heart of the reasoning behind migration is the opportunity for poor individuals living in conditions of the less privileged to find high-paying jobs, as these are jobs they have not experienced in their current environment, and they find themselves at a disadvantage when they did not receive enough attention from their past government. Therefore, both factors can act as precursors for those choosing to move to other countries, holding immense promise for advancing their careers. Secondly, some individuals tend to choose to move to more developed countries as they want to forge a path towards exposure to better conditions, such as societal conditions, hygiene, common ethics, and others. Moreover, these places level the playing field within occupations, leading to substantial career and financial advantages. Given the above situation, the wave of immigration might have some potential ramifications for society. Since people have flooded into other countries, there is a small increase in the likelihood of job loss for some workers already living in these countries, which already exist in highly competitive job markets. From an environmental quality perspective, a growing population positively correlates with a significant increase in carbon emissions, as there is a larger need for using private vehicles, especially for commuting. In conclusion, the majority of migrants want to pursue a more sustainable life. It cannot be denied that they also partly contribute to the healthier economy of the country they come to. Nevertheless, it is essential not to overlook the drawbacks in terms of society and the environment that they have caused. Question: Immigration has a major impact on society. In recent years, the number of individuals committing crimes has increased significantly, causing some public controversy. Although some people assume that wrong-doers deserve stiff punishment, I gravitate toward the idea that the contexts and factors should also be considered, as will be elucidated in this essay. On the one hand, there are various reasons why it is widely believed that crimes should be given rigid penalties regardless of their motives. Firstly, a confirmed conviction acts as a feasible deterrent to felons. This is because they will know there are severe punishments even for small crimes and will never break the law, which will not only prevent any would-be criminals but also reassure everyone that the country does not tolerate these crimes. Secondly, judges are able to sentence a certain verdict to those who do not follow the regulations. Take Singapore for example, in this country, even a small trace of drugs found on anyone can be a call for prison time. These penalties help ensure justice and equality and thus make Singapore one of the safest countries in the world. On the other hand, I am convinced that the cases should be considered due to the condition and motivation of the perpetrators. Some of them may not want to break the rule; however, they commit crimes due to self-defense or mental health issues. For example, some manslaughters unintentionally kill their opponents in order to protect themselves, or there are some people with psychological problems led astray and become involved in wrongdoings like fraud or vandalism. Furthermore, it is viable to tolerate those who compensate sufficiently for their felons or those who have a deep sense of repentance since they can be rehabilitated and contribute to the public. These aforementioned reasons can guarantee a fair and honest judgment. In conclusion, even though the idea of imposing fixed punishment on offenders seems to be true to some extent, I am of the opinion that it is necessary to take individual cases and reasons into account. In recent years, the number of individuals committing crimes has increased significantly, causing some public controversy. In today’s competitive job market, older individuals who are seeking employment often find themselves facing unique challenges when competing with younger candidates. The essay attempts to shed light on the problems which have resulted from this tendency before outlining several viable solutions that should be adopted to tackle them. There are two major problems the older generation have to face when contending against the younger when they look for a profession. Firstly, age discrimination remains prevalent in many workplaces. Despite applying for the same job with similar abilities and qualifications, the older generations often suffer more disadvantages in finding jobs and become unemployed than young candidates, which prevents them from meeting basic human needs. Secondly, the rivalry with young applicants might cause adverse implications for aged-seekers' mental and physical health. Specifically, constantly feeling undervalued due to age-related biases in the workforce can lead to increased depression and anxiety among elderly workers, and this could also severely affect their overall well-being, causing high blood pressure or heart disease. To combat this worrying issue, the following feasible steps should be taken. One of the remedies is that governing bodies should stop employment discrimination based on age by passing several labor laws. For instance, they could heavily fine or even fire recruiters who choose candidates based on age, which could prohibit age-related prejudice in the workplace to ensure that older people are not unfairly treated or overlooked based on their age. Another way is to encourage the old training courses. As a result, the old could have equal opportunities to cultivate relevant job skills, which would enable them to improve their work producitvity and face the young employees. In conclusion, there are some serious repercussions attributable to this negative tendency, and it is crucial that the aforementioned measures be implemented to deal with these issues.
