In the developed world, average life expectancy is increasing. What problems will this cause for individuals and society? Suggest some measures that could be taken to reduce the impact of ageing populations.
It is true that people in many parts of the world have had a longer life than in the past due to several reasons including the development of their countries. This trend may result in some potential issues for the government and young labor, so societies need to take steps to mitigate these problems. As people live longer, the populations of countries get older, related to many issues. To begin with, this tendency leads to the fact that the number of people of retirement age, who are eligible to receive a pension, is increasing. This causes tax burden for people still in working age group, which is one of the main sources of tax for the government. To clarify, while the paying of taxes is lower, governments must take a quite amount of money from national budget to pay pension and take care of retired people, which governments may struggle to manage, especially in developing countries with modest budget. According to the problem mentioned above, some solutions should be taken to reduce the burden for societies. First, as old people's health is usually much better due to modern medical care and healthy food, which plays a significant role in strengthen their lives and healthy, the government should extant the retirement age to around 65-70 years old, so that these people who are still productive working can contribute to taxes for a few more years. Second, implementing new policies in order to encourage immigration to make up for the labor shortage is necessary. This labor can partly support the national budget, which is already spent on pension for retired ones. In conclusion, there are various disadvantageous effects including tax problem and the need for the government to tackle is urgent. It is true that people in many parts of the world have had a longer life than in the past due to several reasons including the development of their countries. Countries are becoming more and more similar because people are able to buy the same products anywhere in the world. Do you think this is a positive or negative development? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience. Essays Some people argue there is an increasing resemblance between different nations because the same products could be bought worldwide, and they and they view this trend negatively. In my point of view, however, I strongly agree that it is a positive phenomenon because it is beneficial to human society from an overall perspectiveperspective. On the one hand, there are several advantages in terms of this topic. Countries becoming moremoresimilar make similar make our daily liveslives more convenient. We are likely to purchase things on the e-commerce platform without going to shop physically and have the same product experience as people who live abroadabroad. Moreover, the expansion of international trade can offer more job opportunities, which can absolutely reduce the wealth disparity significantly. Furthermore, with nations becoming more and more identical, people can readily share their ideas or thoughts with others from different backgrounds. As a result, the interaction between different groups will be improved and accelerated. Being able to see many similar products anywhere obviously has some drawbacks for customers. Firstly, the boundaries between countries will be diminished, which means that there must be a drop in the sense of belonging to countries among people worldwide.. Secondly, many local businesses will struggle to survivebecause of because of the emergence of the international trade system, system, which leads which leads to far more competitive marketplaces. For example, the rise of well-known fast-food chains, such as Burger King, KFC, and Mos Burger, has led to many local restaurants exiting the market. Finally, it will be extremely dangerous if some products contain harmful or toxic ingredients because these commodities are sold worldwide and are difficult to regulate appropriately. In conclusion, although the phenomenon of countries becoming similar does have some drawbacks, I believe the benefits it generates outweigh the drawbacks. Countries are becoming more and more similar because people are able to buy the same products anywhere in the world. Do you think this is a positive or negative development? Some people think all university student should study whatever they like. Others believe that they should only be allowed to study subjects that will be useful in the future, such as those related to science and technology. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion. Essay Some individuals suppose that university students should have the freedom to study subjects of their choice. While some argue that students should pursue their passions, others advocate for a more pragmatic approach. This essay will discuss both perspectives before presenting a balanced view. On the one hand, learners who have the freedom to pursue their own interests are more enthusiastic about learning. In other words, they devote their time and attention to researching their preferred linked areas, resulting in increased knowledge and competence in these groups, which is more likely to be greater than required approaches. According to a report, persons who pursue their aspirations freely not only become more intellectual and skillful in social growth, but they also achieve high levels of success in their respective industries. On the other hand, there is a compelling argument for universities to prioritize subjects that are directly applicable to the demands of the future, such as science and technology. Supporters of this view assert that in an increasingly competitive job market, graduates with specialized skills in these fields are more likely to secure employment and contribute to societal progress. They argue that investing in practical education aligns with economic and technological advancements, ensuring graduates possess the competencies necessary for the evolving job market. In conclusion, the debate surrounding university education centres on the choice between studying subjects of personal interest or focusing on practical fields that align with future demands. By offering a diverse range of subjects, including those related to science and technology, while also allowing students to explore their passions, universities can cultivate well-rounded individuals who possess the necessary skills for a rapidly changing world. Some people think all university student should study whatever they like. Prompt: International tourism has brought enormous benefit to many places. At the same time, there is concern about its impact on local inhabitants and the environment. Do the disadvantages of international tourism outweigh the advantages? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience. Write at least 250 words. Đây là bài của em ạ. Various merits have significantly benefited the development of a country since the travel agency has expanded worldwide. However, the deterioration of indigenous society and environment has become an utmost concern. Although both merits and demerits make an enormous change on tourism, neither of them can outweigh the remainder in developing this agency. Thanks to the massive influx of foreign tourists, economic values are rising dramatically. The growing numbers of services, constructed buildings, upgraded facilities has contributed to the quality of a region, hence the attraction of tourists. Therefore, income from tourism has the utmost importance on the regional economy. Moreover, implementing globalization for travel agencies also provides valuable opportunities to advertise cultural values of a nation to friends around the world. With both rising economic and cultural values, international tourism step by step develops more strongly and carries out to bring huge benefits to government and citizens. Worldwide travel agencies, on the other hand, alarmingly affect the local inhabitants. Enacting Open door policy creates chances for social problems to rise. Using drugs, prostitution, non-driving license or robbery are more likely to occur nowadays which causes social instability, especially the indigenous social. Furthermore, due to a part of uncultured individuals, the deterioration of the environment happens more quickly with several “many a little pickle makes a mickle” actions, littering plastic bags is a typical example. Therefore, worsening the local public and vandalizing the environment not only alleviates the original beauty of the construction, but also contributes to the deterioration of its cultural and spiritual values. International tourism brought both merits and demerits. However, the problem is not which one is possible to outweigh the remainder, it is a given overview for governments and individuals to consider both aspects, to elicit certain steps to develop this agency as well as to alleviate the negative impacts on foreign travel agencies. The given chart shows how UK children from 11 to 16 years old travel to school by different means of transportation. Overall, it can be seen that different means of transportation are preferred depending on how far the children need to go to school. In addition, cars and buses are chosen to travel over 5 miles rather than walking and bicycles. At first glance, 90% of children choose to walk if the journey is from 0 to 1 mile, followed by bicycle at 50% of UK students. Buses are not preferred to travel to school at this distance, with only approximately 3% of children choosing this vehicle. Secondly, bicycles are the most chosen means of transportation for 1 to 2 miles journey by nearly 80% of youngsters, which is nearly 4 times more than cars at 20%. However, for longer distances, cars and buses are more preferred than the remaining counterparts. In 2 to 5 miles journey, more than 30% of UK children travel to school by car, which is less than about 20% compared to bus. The most-chosen vehicle for over 5 mile distance is bus with nearly 70% of children's votes. Some people believe that children should be taught to be competitive and achieve more, while others think that children should be taught to be cooperative and considerate of others. Discuss both views and give your opinion. đây là bài làm của em ạ There are growing discussions regarding whether students should be taught to be independently competitive or cooperative. This essay will first examine both viewpoints before concluding that a balanced approach that fosters both qualities is ideal for a child's holistic development. Admittedly, people deciding to teach children to be competitive has undeniable advantages. Firstly, studying in a competitive environment can help children have motivation to aim for higher goals, so they can enhance themself and reach their full potential. For example, a competitive sports day in primary school can help them to try their best and be proud of their achievements. Notwithstanding the aforementioned benefits of teaching to be competitive, I believe that nurturing cooperation in children is equally significant. The key rationale behind this is that when children study and work in a cooperative environment and all people are considerate of others, children can learn so many soft skills, such as: interaction skills, teamwork, leadership, conflict resolution skills. These skills are crucial for children in the future and help them to be more successful at work. However, I believe that if children are only taught either competitiveness or cooperation, they can be impacted negatively. On the one hand, Children can become greedy, self-centered and overambitious when they solely focus on competing with others, so that they have to win at all cost, even cause harm to others. On the other hand, it seems to me that solely concentrating on cooperation may lead them to fall into complacency and a lack of ambition. Furthermore, children could rely on others when working together, as a consequence, they cannot achieve success independently. Therefore, it is important to strike a balance between cooperation and competition in child nurturing. In conclusion, both ways of teaching children, namely collaboration and competition have their own benefits and drawbacks. Thus, children should be exposed to a balanced educational approach that encourages competitiveness when needed and cooperation when appropriate Some people believe that children should be taught to be competitive and achieve more, while others think that children should be taught to be cooperative and considerate of others. Poor countries are given financial support from richer nations to provide disadvantaged countries with the better standard of living and quality of life. However, This kind of aid rarely solves the issue of poverty, and therefore I completely agree that the richer countries should provide other forms of help. On the one hand, in order to help poorer nations in the long term, the government and citizens should be provided enough educational tools. Because, education is a core factor to help people expand their knowledge and assess to new information, which will reduce the rate of illiteracy in poor countries. For example, they can give computers, laptop or even board and pen which are also foundation for children can approach to studying. Furthermore, by providing education about agriculture and farming will help people from poorer nations can farm efficiently, which will essentially provide them adequate nutrition to ward off hunger and disease. On the other hand, instead of giving disadvantage countries money, they can help them with modern technologies and equipments such as medical equipment, farming machinery making the lives of poorer people significantly enhanced. Furthermore, in many poor countries have many natural resources but they do not have enough conditions and equipments to exploit such as fossil fuels and minerals, by providing these equipments will help them have certain work to settle down. In conclusion, while giving financial help to poor nations will be beneficial in the short term, providing education and technology will be the long run. Marketing and promotion are the key to successful business. To what extent do you agree? Due to the widespread adoption of technology in the 4.0 era, it is considered that marketing and promotion are the key to business success. However, I firmly believe that the success of a company is based not only on this facet but also on other aspects. Turning first to the reasons why marketing and promotion are considered as the key to business success. Firstly, these aspects have a wide range of accessibility to customers. By applying some marketing schemes such as organizing questionnaires in social platforms, businesses can easily identify a significant number of customers’ demand, and have the suitable innovation with this to build revenues . In addition, marketing and promotion enable the company to create a strong brand identity. For instance, Caty, which is a new noodle brand in VietNam, perfectly exemplifies this situation as the marketing strategy of generating unique song called “mỳ tôm thanh long”, and this allow the business to build a strong brand identity with their dragon fruit noodles products. Nevertheless, I strongly believe that the business success depends not only on marketing and promotion but also on other facets. Firstly, extraordinary contributions of individuals within the organization can influence a company's performance. With the capability and creativity of employees, numerous promising innovations can be proposed which contribute to the company’s growth. In this sense, the human element is indispensable in business success. Additionally, leadership capability is another aspect. The business can stand in a competitive economic institution when the leader can give direction, possesses vision for the company through challenges. Therefore, having an extraordinary leader is the bedrock for success. In conclusion, I strongly argue with the notion that marketing and promotion are the key to business success. Despite its ability of accessing a significant number of customers and the benefit of enhancing brand identity, human contribution and leadership capability are the indispensable facets to business success. Đề Bài: Families who send their children to private schools should not be required to pay taxes that support the state education system. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement? One school of thought holds that families who send their children to private school should not be required to pay taxes that support the state education system. While acknowledging the reason for this thinking, I personally disagree with this view and it will be analyzed in my essay. On the one hand, it is obvious that in some private schools which are operated by the entrepreneur are different compared to the public school, they are not supported by the government so they have to spend their budget to pay for not only the utilities but also the operating costs and other expenses. Another reason is that despite having variety of different between the private school and public school but this act may exaggerate the disparity between them, for example, the majority of the private school have much more advanced education tools as well as higher quality teaching staff than the private school so if the wealthy who send their adolescents to the private school can not only save costs but also can have better education condition, it would be unfair for the poverty who learning at the public still have to pay taxes for the government but have less education condition. On the other hand, i am not optimistic that we can not ensure that there are no other reforms that will start to resemble this one, for instance should the government stop taxing people who receive treatment from private hospital, but still kept the portion of the common resident, as a result the government may not experience fail reform due to monetizing from people who lack money but even worse can lead to the demonstration. In sum, I firmly believe that any financial tax should be posed to the people who learn in private school. Nowadays, wearing uniforms has become a regulation for employees in many firms. This essay will discuss the benefits which a company can have when using uniforms for their staff as well as some positive upside for individual workers. Turning first to the advantages for firms, there are two obvious benefits which uniforms could provide. One of these is that uniforms enable the companies to manage their staff more easily. With its cohesive and unified appearance such as the consistent color, logo, uniforms allow the companies to distinguish them from visitors or even strangers. Therefore, this contributes to a safer work environment for staff. Moreover, uniforms reinforce the company’s brand identity. For example, KFC has a unique uniform which has the face of Harland sanders’ face, founder of KFC, helps the brand to stand out over other businesses. Additionally, uniforms are beneficial not only for companies but also offer numerous advantages for individual staff. As it can be seen, uniforms provide numerous advantages for each employee. The first benefit is reduction in personal clothing expenses. By having provision of clothing to wear when going to work, this can help staff cut down on the sum of money spent on shopping. Consequently, this facilitates workers to invest in other fields, such as saving, learning new languages with this money. Additionally, uniforms encourage appropriate behavior between staff and customers. For example, the uniforms enable students to distinguish between the teacher, who is the staff member at an English center, and other people. In conclusion, I firmly believe that wearing uniforms has such a beneficial influence on both firms and individual staff. Question prompt: Some people think paying taxes is a big enough contribution to their society, while others think people have more responsibilities as members of society than only paying taxes. Discuss both views and give your opinion. In the modern era, many people argue that fulfilling tax obligations is an immense contribution of citizens to the sustainability of society, while others advocate for social responsibilities that can go beyond taxation. In this essay, I will first examine both viewpoints and give my opinion. On the one hand, it is not a stretch to say that paying taxes is significant support for a healthier economy and society, which is attractive for several reasons. At the heart of the reasoning behind this thinking is that the increasing amounts of taxes are positively correlated with more resources being channeled into healthcare, education, and infrastructure, bringing a sense of societal welfare. Moreover, individuals who contribute to the collective betterment of society will receive numerous benefit packages in the distant future. Notwithstanding the aforementioned argument, I side with those who advocate for additional civic duties beyond tax payment, falling under the umbrella of a variety of social responsibilities, including addressing environmental problems as an example. While the responsibility of government bodies receives financial backing and channels more resources into combating environmental collapse, which is a pressing issue in the modern-day needing to be resolved as soon as possible. It is a complex issue requiring collective cooperation from each individual in the community, bringing a much-needed perspective to gain success in terms of improving one aspect of society's fabric. In conclusion, I would contend that the holistic development of society requires not only fulfilling tax obligations, although they are of paramount importance for social functioning, but also necessitates an environment-conscious attitude within communities Question prompt: Some people think paying taxes is a big enough contribution to their society, while others think people have more responsibilities as members of society than only paying taxes. Many people prefer to watch foreign films rather than locally produced films. Why could this be? Should governments give more financial support to local film industries?
It is true that viewers love watching movies produced in other countries than domestic ones. There are several reasons for that, and I believe local film-makers should be subsidized by the government. There are various factors for movies produced locally are less appeal to people than foreign movies. First, film techniques in local areas are not professional, which makes the quality of movies much lower and affects viewers' experience when watching it. To clerify, some characters and scenes in movies cannot film realistically such as a T-rex or a big explosion so directors need some alternative such as CGI to create those things instead. However, if their skills are not good enough to create qualified result, the movies are likely to be flop. Another reason is that foreign films often have the appearance of famous actors and actresses or accomplished directors, which people will excitingly look forward to watching the movies. Such as Beauty and the Beast, with the attendance of Emma Watson, who became well-known from Harry Potter, was such a huge success. In my opinion, I think the government should fund film crew in order to create opportunities for them and develop film industry in their own countries. To begin with, film crew need budget to maintain such as paying for actors and actress, buying props to serve filming their movies. If they do not have enough budget for these, crew flims cannot exist let alone release movies. Furthermore, to make scenes more real and lively, crews need to shoot scenes in spectacular locations, which requires a huge part of budget. This is clear that governments' subsidiaries will give them a chance to improve movies' quality. In conclusion, quite a few factors impact people to go for foreign movies and I claim that the government should raise fund to support local film-makers.
