Some people believe that modern technology is making people more sociable, while others think it is making them less sociable. Discuss both views and give your own opinion. Some individuals are of the opinion that modern technologies are of paramount importance in enhancing the ability of people to socialize, while others think that these tools hinder our sociability. In this essay, I would discuss both schools of thought before proposing my perspective. On the one hand, there are some reasons that explain why some people believe that modern technology can improve our ability to socialize. In the past, it was difficult for people to maintain social relationships and stay in touch with each other due to the shortage of effective communication methods, which acted as a catalyst for limiting our sociability. However, the intervening of many modern technological features, such as the Internet, portable devices, and social media platforms in this day and age, can help address this issue, as they enable people to easily maintain their relationships and widen social circles with people anywhere. On the other hand, opponents think that modern technology has a negative impact on the structure of society. Emotional interactions in real life are proven to be at the core of building high-quality relationships, which do not seem to be cultivated in the technologically groundbreaking era. Virtual connections often lack the depth and nuance of in-person encounters, contributing to the likelihood of misunderstandings about individuals, leading to a sense of social isolation and detrimentally impairing our mental health when exposed over a long period. In conclusion, I believe that modern technology has both positive and negative impacts on our relationships. While the superiority of modern technology is evident in terms of helping us stay in touch with friends and family members, our relationships will become superficial and negatively affect our mental health if we do not control the level of usage. Some people believe that modern technology is making people more sociable, while others think it is making them less sociable. Discuss both views and give your own opinion. The line graph provides information about the variation in workforce distribution of five industries in Australia from 19262 to 2012. Overall, an upward trend can be seen in the percentage of Australian workers engaged in the service sector, while the opposite was true for manufacturing and agriculture. Additionally, services established themselves as the top field over the entire period. In 1962, over 50% of the Australian workforce was employed in services, doubling that of manufacturing with only below 30%. Moreover, the remaining sectors reached negligible percentages, ranging from 1% to never over 10%. Afterward, there was a dramatic increase in service areas, peaking at approximately under 80% in 2012, remaining as the dominant sector compared to others. In contrast, employment in Australia witnessed a significant decrease across manufacturing and agriculture industries, dropping to 10% and 4% respectively by the end of the period. Finally, the figures for construction and mining changed, ending the period with 10% and 3 % in turn. As the demand for oil and gas continues to rise, there is a growing need to explore these energy sources in remote locations. Do you believe the benefits of exploiting these areas outweigh the drawbacks of causing environmental damage? An increasing need to explore energy sources in desolate areas has sparked a debate about its implications. While the exploitation of energy resources in these areas offers certain benefits, I completely believe the drawbacks of such action would be more substantial. Granted, proponents of discovering and utilizing energy in remote regions may point out its potential to address global fuel demand. In detail, the growing global population and increased industrial activities have escalated the energy demand, leading to an increased cost of living. Additionally, a lack of fuel access can engender serious economic and social implications, including tax hikes and supply chain disruptions. Therefore, authorities or enterprises can utilize these untapped energy reserves in desolate areas to address the growing fuel needs and reduce the strain on citizens’ budgets. Furthermore, the concentration of businesses can stimulate the growth of the industrial sector. A thriving industry can generate employment, attract investment, and support related sectors, such as the construction industry, contributing to national development. However, I side with those who argue the potential drawbacks of exploring and utilizing energy sources in rural locations far outweigh these benefits. First, the industrialization of isolated regions could come as a trade-off with the local environment. Specifically, enterprises whose main goal is financial gain might neglect environmental consequences, resulting in detrimental exploitation practices that jeopardize indigenous flora and fauna. For instance, in Vietnam, industrialization has been associated with the exacerbation of air pollution and the degradation of the country’s landscape, primarily due to the release of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. These environmental issues can be mitigated if the authorities impose harsher penalties for contaminating the environment. To summarize, while the economic benefits of energy exploitation in rural localities are significant, the environmental implications are more substantial. Discovering and utilizing the vast energy resources in these localities without consideration of environmental impacts would result in lasting damage to the local flora and fauna. The best way for nations to address the supply demands for fuels is to impose laws to limit the destruction to the indigenous habitats. As the demand for oil and gas continues to rise, there is a growing need to explore these energy sources in remote locations. Some people think young people are not suitable for important positions in the government, while other people think it is a good idea for young people to take on these positions. Discuss both views and give your own opinion. Some people believe that younger people are unsuitable for important government roles, while others hold the opposite view. In this essay, both views will be discussed before a personal stance is taken, asserting that it is unsuitable for young people to take on predominant government positions. On the one hand, many people believe that younger generations should take on vital positions in the government due to their creative abilities. In addition to receiving a comprehensive education, young people are often exposed to new cultures that can stimulate their creativity and intellectual abilities. As a result, they can make a considerable contribution to dealing with social problems. For instance, many governmental policies are ineffective and cannot resolve many issues, such as famine and high unemployment rates, needing more innovative and sensible solutions. On the other hand, it is undeniable that the young are not suitable for important positions in the government for two main reasons. The first one is the lack of experience of younger people. The social and political landscape is often complex, needing sensible decisions; hence, older generations who possess valuable experience tend to propose practical solutions to overcome these governmental difficulties. Another reason is the higher reputation of older generations. Addressing social problems needs the lifelong collaboration of the country’s residents therefore older politicians who have substantial influence on society can gather people together, fostering a strong sense of community bond and mutual support. In conclusion, while younger generations can take many creative measures to deal with social problems, I strongly believe they are unsuitable for practical governmental positions due to their lack of experience and reputation. These positions should be taken on by the elderly, leading to the long-term well-being of humans and society. Some people think young people are not suitable for important positions in the government, while other people think it is a good idea for young people to take on these positions. The pie chart compare the percentage of five distinct energies namely: hydropower, oil, nuclear power, coal, natural gas which were generated in a nation during the 20-years period, starting from 1993. Overall, a cosiderable decrease was witnessed in the proportion of oil and coal, meanwhile the rest of the listed had the opposite trend, except hydropower. Additionally, this country seemed to prioritise oil production instead of the others, so its figure always took the lead over the period of two decades. In 1993, oil and coal were created 42% and 23% respectively. After 20 years, oil still made up the majority of production, although there was a slight downward trend of 4% in its data. In many countries, crime rates amongst younger people have been rising. What are the causes? What are the solutions?
The number of young criminals in some countries is rising rapidly; it is a significant issue now. In my opinion, I believe that the best ways to address this problem are to raise awareness, take care of children during their formative years, and pay more attention to the mental health of young people. To elaborate, during the puberty period, which can shape children's character, young people often want to do whatever they want and don't think about the consequences. For example, in Vietnam, many criminal cases occurred because of the neglect of parents, resulting in the criminal behavior of their children in an attempt to attract their parents' attention. Because of the huge pressure in education, more and more youngsters suffer from mental health issues, particularly depression. Furthermore, some young people are choosing addictive substances to decrease pressure and feel better, such as cigarettes, drugs, or alcohol. For the solutions, raising awareness about the law is crucial, not only in school but also through some entertainment mediums such as news, movies, and songs, which can have a huge impact on youngsters' minds. Some people think that songs about law are very nonsensical; this is because they are mature, but for children, it is easy to be affected by the scenes in these songs and be scared about these crimes. Adults should pay more attention to their children, especially during their sensitive period of puberty. The care and education from parents are very important for children because parents are their closest people. When parents keep a close eye on their children, they can easily recognize any abnormality in children's behaviors and seek professional help if they have any problems with their mental health as soon as they can for getting the best treatment. In conclusion, I believe that most young criminals choose the wrong path to solve their problems because of a lack of attention from parents and society or their poor education to distinguish between wrong and right. To tackle this issue, we need to implement comprehensive measures that involve parents, schools, and society as a whole to provide guidance and support to young people, helping them make better choices and lead law-abiding lives. The number of young criminals in some countries is rising rapidly; it is a significant issue now. Some people believe that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. Others argue that it is better to try and improve such situations. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
According some individuals, accepting a bad situation such as unsatisfied jobs or poor was the best way to face with it .Otherwise, others believe that trying and improving such situations are better. In my opinion, I think that attempt to improve the situations have the advantages outweigh the first statement On the one hand, if we always deny and complain about our bad situation we have to face , it will put a huge pressure in our mind and we can't do anything better because we are thinking too much about the bad problems. For example, when we only graduated one year and we can't have a perfect jobs because of lack of experiences, if we can't accept this situation we will cannot do our job well and never advance. The only things we can do are accept that we don't have enough ability and experience to work in the company we like and do as well as we can for our temporary job. On the other hand, I believe that the bad situation make successful. In all period of our life , we have to face to numerous problems and unexpected situations . It depend on how old you are and how much crucial of this situation we face that we can choose to accept it or solve it . However if you can continue try and work , do it instead of accept it because everyone only live once, if you want and have enough motivation , you should try your best to solve and make this situation better. For example, if we failed to apply in our dream company, don't only accept that we just can work in a small company , start with small company to collect experience instead, then level up our skill and ability and keep trying in the next time to apply in this country and take all chances we have to improve ourselves, that is the best way. In conclusion, I am not completely disagree with accepting a bad situation and enjoying what we have , However if you still have ability and health keep trying to change this bad situation to the better one According some individuals, accepting a bad situation such as unsatisfied jobs or poor was the best way to face with it .Otherwise, others believe that trying and improving such situations are better.... The bar charts provide information about the purchasing of food and goods in supermarkets in three different countries in Europe from 1998 to 2008. Overall, an upward trend can be seen in supermarket sales in all countries, regardless of the type of products. Additionally, supermarkets in Country 3 stated the lowest percentage of all products over the period. Regarding food sales, in 1998, around 10% and roughly 23% of food were sold for consumers in Country 1 and Country 2, respectively, before the trend increased significantly ten years later (approximately 35%) in Country 1, surpassing that of country 2 (just over 25%), although the figure of country 1 was lower compared to country 2 in 1998. Meanwhile, food purchases in country 3 remained relatively low, accounting for less than 10% in both years, despite a slight increase. A comparable pattern emerged in the sales of goods. Initially, only below 5% of goods were purchased in country 1, after an eightfold increase can be observed to nearly 40% in 2008. Country 3 also witnessed dramatic growth (from just over 2% to almost 15%), however, they consistently registered the lowest proportion of goods bought in supermarkets. Dạ em mong các thầy cô chấm chữa đề task 2 giúp em ạ. Some people claim that public museums and art galleries will be no longer necessary because people can see historical objects and works of art by using a computer. Do you agree or disagree?
Many people believe that public museums and art galleries will be soon unnecessary due to the function of a computer that can help people to enjoy historical objects and works. Personally, i am totally disagree, computer might bring a lots of incredible tools for us in modern day but it can not completely substitute the real valuation of life. As the existence of computer is to help us access information and images quicker but this is not the case for historical objects and works, yet it can not describe 100 percent the details of the image. For example, some pictures of Holywood actors might different from how they actually look in real life. In addition, if people saw an artwork or object on the internet it could lead to a misconception, so to give respect to the author and understand deeply about the historical features of an artwork or object, it is crucial to witness those in a museum or art gallery. Furthermore, our brains tend to receive a hundred of information online and remember a handful of it, so if we have a chance to see an object and art work in the museum or a gallery, it will cause a strong impression and emotion to us. It is the same as reading a book, holding a book in our hand can bring us a different experience than reading in online. Although it is convenient to search for the images of a historical art work or object on the internet, those images will becoming vague in our brains. In conclusion, there are many reasons not to see a historical artwork or object through a screen because of its unrealistic. I would rather to spend time in a public museum or art gallery to find more useful information. All university students should do some voluntary work to help the local community. To what do you agree or disagree? Due to the rising need for volunteering in communities, it has been thought that all university students should participate in helping their local community free of charge. While this has been thought to boost public awareness and increase community activities, requiring all students to participate in volunteering poses challenges in balancing students' mental health and academic performance. In countries such as Vietnam, undergraduate tends to study more than 13 hours a day, and with an extremely packed schedule, they do not have any extra time for themselves. By integrating volunteering into undergraduates, we could significantly disrupt their agenda. Since community volunteering can take hours, students will have less time to study, socialize, and follow their hobbies. To solve this problem, students would decrease sleep time and raise learning time, which results in an imbalance in our body's health. Because most Vietnamese undergraduates tend to sleep way less than the 9 hours sleeping recommended per day therefore making volunteering mandatory may threaten people in getting their work done and balancing their health. Due to this struggle, we could be seeing an unprecedented decline in individual subject grades, as well as a reduction in mental and physical health that is caused by lack of sleep time. Thus, this can respond to a lack of focus, health issues, low-stress resilience, and increased anxiety, and inevitably cause several other problems that could significantly affect one's livelihood. In conclusion, while requiring volunteering in universities could raise public awareness and help others, it will result in student's academic performance and may cause health concerns due to the lack of sleeping. Therefore, volunteering activities should only be encouraged in university but shouldn't be seen as a requirement in order to graduate. All university students should do some voluntary work to help the local community. To what do you agree or disagree? Due to the rising need for volunteering in communities, it has been thought... Some people believe that everyone has a right to have access to university education and that governments should make it free for all students no matter what financial background they have. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Some individuals believe that governments should make every universities to free for students due to everyone have the rights to access to higher education. In my point of view, I don't agree with this statements on the first primary reason, I agree that everyone have a right to study in college, however I believe that governments and a lot of organizations now are trying to make the best conditions for poor students who really love studying or have talent can study and I believe that is the best way that can help people who don't have enough money can access to higher education. We can't offer they do more than for everyone because if all the universities are free for everyone, it will lead to the increased rapidly in the score of all universities and it will put a huge pressure on students. While now the number of students suffer depression are increasing especially in high school students so we can't image how much pressure that students will face to if the score increase rapidly in all universities without any fees Furthermore, the governments fund not only spend on education. I believe that if the education develop, it will lead to the development of a country but if government pay all fees to remain all universities in a country , there will not enough money for others aspects of the society such as economic, culture, health. The number of students can find any jobs after graduated college are growing up , so when everyone can access to university it lead to the enormous problem about the number of unemployment rate. I believe that the poor condition cannot ban anyone who really attempt , if their family cannot support them to study in college, they can do it by themselves everything is possible if you word-hard In conclusion , I believe that if government make universities free for all children it can reduce the speed of development of this country and loss the balance in the society Some individuals believe that governments should make every universities to free for students due to everyone have the rights to access to higher education.
