All large companies should provide sports and social facilities to the local community. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement? ANSWER: One school of thought holds that sports and social amenities should be established by wealthier companies for the public. From my point of view, I completely agree with this statement as it offers great benefits for both the companies and the community. I think that public facilities should be provided by big companies because is a preferable course of action. Firstly, it can enhance the overall well-being of the public and raise awareness about the importance of health. This is because when citizens can easily access to available equipment as well as the people around them who also exercise, it would encourage their enthusiasm for sports, therefore leading to a better physical and mental health. The second reason for this is that the companies themself potentially benefit from advertising their products through the brands which were printed in every equipment the residents use. As a result, prospective customers will search for their goods or services, then they will buy them, leading to the increase in the companies' revenue. Furthermore, being accessed to other social facilities such as library or museum means that the population of a country can gain more valuable knowledge about various aspects in life. For example, large organization like Microsoft has constructed plenty of free libraries, opening a door for everyone who will benefit from such valuable resources, especially for children who come from underdeveloped areas have the opportunity to borrow books that they cannot afford. This has resulted in the surge in literacy rate among children around these areas. Moreover, the existence of such facilities means that these will encourage everyone to take part in academic endeavor and potentially establish a strong community where studious people can come as well as share experiences and useful advices together. In conclusion, I support the idea that such facilities such as sports equipment or library should be available for the public by large private organization. My reason is that it allows the citizens to improve their well-beings and the company to advertise their production as well as the establishment of a studious community in which people can benefit themselves and help others. All large companies should provide sports and social facilities to the local community. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement? ANSWER: One school of thought holds that spor... This essay will delve into the underlying causes of this phenomenon and explore the negative consequences it may have for children. This problem results from several factors. In the modern era, computer games become widespread among kids and teenagers as a type of entertainment. They long to spend a great amount of time to play instead of doing sports. This essay will explain the reasons and effects of this statement. Firstly, one obvious reason for playing computer games is to be relax after an exhausted day at school. Scientists and technology experts seem to be more valued by modern society than musicians and artists. To what extent do you agree or disagree. Some people hold a belief that logical masters are more essential than creative experts. Personally, while science analysis brings valuable benefits, it is also important to acknowledge the role of creative people in modern life. On the one hand, there are reasonable grounds to believe that analysts and cutting-edge experts can bring positive impacts on people’s lives. Firstly, scientists can identify new viruses, which helps control hidden diseases and reduce the risk of pandemics significantly. Secondly, high-tech experts can predict the future. For example, AI can easily forecast the daily weather, which helps individuals work and study optimally. These advantages can contribute to people’s overall lives. On the other hand, I am of the opinion that musicians and artists are great contributors to society. Research shows a link between music and mental health. For instance, ballad songs help listeners relax and reduce stress, while pop songs motivate them to be more energetic. Additionally, they are also beneficial to the connection of society. Creative activities help people broaden their relationships, which effectively boosts a healthy and friendly environment. In conclusion, while some may argue that science and technology fields are more valuable than creativity fields, I believe a more balanced perspective is needed, acknowledging the advantages of both sides. Some people think that all university students should study whatever they like. Others believe that they should only be allowed to study subjects that will be useful in the future, such as those related to science and technology. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
There are some people argued that university students should be given opportunities to choose whatever subjects they prefer to study. However, some others said that students need to be taught only with logical-related ones, such as science and technology to serve the future. In my opinion, I follow the former case. There are various reasons why some people think students should solely focus on academic subjects. To begin with, job opportunities related to science or technology is widely various, such as programmers or doctors, which are well-known for high salaries. This is because these jobs always meet essential needs of society including healthcare or tools and machines to serve people's lives and work. For example, in Japan, the need for travel by trains are dramatically high and the public maybe wish time travel can shorter to save time for others things, which is the motivation for train companies to put all effort into researching to create more modern trains to satisfy people. As can be seen, train companies require their employees to have good knowledge about technology and science to release faster trains. However, I believe that students can go for what subjects they love, not being forced to study logical-required ones. In fact, quite a few students in university have artistic talent, which will need for jobs related to art and entertainment. If those students cannot opt for subjects that is suitable with their talent but only academic subjects, it will be such a waste because they are not capable of getting a job due to not having enough skills and knowledge. It is clear that opportunities to get well-paid in artist jobs are higher currently because of the interest of people in collecting pictures or watching movies to release stress is increasing. Therefore students should give freedom to study what they need. In conclusion, it is reasonable for some to believe university education system should limit student to study some particular subjects, I believe they deserve to decide by themselves. There are some people argued that university students should be given opportunities to choose whatever subjects they prefer to study. Therefore, going to the market and looking for various ingredients such as fresh vegetables, red meat or dressings to make mouth-watering dishes is one of her interests. There is a local market which is conveniently located just a 2-minute walk from our house and she regularly visits it to buy fresh produce She intends to purchase for inexpensive food for numerous reasons. Firstly, she is quite budget-conscious so she wanna save as much money as possible. It enables her to spend more finance on essential needs for example my tuition fees or the electricity bill. Secondly, she has a strong belief that not all pricey goods have high qualities so she would rather get the mid-range quality one than consume extravagantly. The final reason to talk about is the happiness she finds when visiting the market with affordable price. She told me that it provides her a valuable opportunity to interact with intriguing vendors and to perform her professional skill of haggling things. These days, the fact that a higher number of games played by men are broadcast, compared to that of women has been receiving a great deal of public attention. There could be several reasons for this, and it is plausible that more women sport. There are a number of reasons why shows of sportsmen have gained more airtime on TV than those of their female counterparts. It is undeniable that men’s sports have attracted larger audiences, so broadcasters must focus more on them to earn more profits. For example, football at the 30th SEA Games attracted millions of people from around Vietnam and other countries, while the figure for women’s matches was significantly lower. Then, men’s sports often receive more attention from advertising, sponsorship, and opportunities compared to women’s sports. This means that TV channels may prioritize broadcasting events that attract higher advertising revenue. However, I would advocate that, TV producers should give equal streaming time for male and female programs. Firstly, if TV channels give equal time and coverage to both women’s and men’s sports, it might increase the gender equality movement which is one of the most concerned issues in many parts of the world today. In fact, sporters, especially women, are equally welcome to express their talents and passion. Secondly, when women's sports are broadcast on TV channels, it will promote the sportsmanship of women and encourage those with the potential to embark on their sporting careers. As a result, both men and women are actively involved in sports to create a fair sports environment and a healthy society. In conclusion, despite more profits from men’s sports channels for TV producers, and I personally believe that it is essential to equally in the coverage of men’s and women’s sports. The chart shows the total distance traveled by passengers on five types of transport in the UK between 1990 and 2000. The bar chart compares the distances traveled by people in the UK on five different modes of transport from 1990 to 2000. Overall, most categories witnessed an upward trend except for bicycle and motorbike, leading to the growth of the total. In addition, the figures for bus and train were significantly high compared to the remaining types of transport. Regarding the increasing categories, from 1990 to 2000, air travel was the most dramatic change, surging from approximately 1 kilometer to 5 kilometers. By contrast, the figure for bus, starting at 40 kilometers in the first year, recorded a modest growth to under 45 kilometers at the end of the period. Similarly, rail travel underwent the same rate, rising from around 37 kilometers to nearly 40 kilometers during the same period. In terms of the two remaining means of transport, in 1990, people traveled the least by bicycle and motorbike with distances of less or more 5 kilometers. However, in the next ten years, the latter saw a negligible decline to 3 kilometers, while the former decreased with a faster level to only 1 kilometer The chart shows the total distance traveled by passengers on five types of transport in the UK between 1990 and 2000.
